We came in for a late lunch early dinner. Visiting the area, so never have dined here before. Wish I could remember the burger name. Something like the Mother Burger. Hamburger, sliced ham, shrimp, onion rings. Bring an appetite. Love the idea of the desserts. Single serving or table size. The banana pudding was great! Would definitely recommend.

Visited Copper River a half-dozen times since last review. Food continues to be consistent: large portions at moderate prices. Pizza is tasty; salads are huge and filled with a variety of meats, cheeses, nuts. Soups are flavorful. Everyone in my party has enjoyed eating here. I've had the same server almost every time and she has been consistent, friendly, and quick to get our food out. Upping my rating from 3 to 4 due to better service.

They have lost my business for good and I'd like to warn others. I was at this location last weekend for a graduation party. Our experience was nothing short of stressful. For a party of 20+ people, they only had 1 server, Cody. We were there probably 3 to 3.5 hours. During that time, no one received a refill. It took FOREVER for our food to come out. I'm talking about 45 minutes if not more. People who ordered ribs were served before those who ordered salads. There were maybe 4 other tables in the whole place so it's not like it was crazy busy. However, the food was good so I was willing to let that go. The biggest fiasco was the check split. Instead of handling it beforehand, Cody waited until the end. Someone named Jennifer got involved. I think she was a manager but she only made matters worse. We seriously sat there for 1 hour while they tried to get the checks right...and they were STILL wrong. After about the 5th time going over how to split the bill, we asked Jennifer to write it down. She picked up a pen & paper but never actually wrote it down so we went through several more times. They messed up so many times that they had to void charges off one card but of course it would still show as pending. Some people were charged twice. It was a complete mess. I'm huge on customer service and this may have been the most inadequate service I've ever received. Never again. Be warned if you go here and plan on splitting the check any sort of way. And...ESPECIALLY if you have a large party. I know things can get hectic with large parties but the service here was inexcusable and completely inefficient.

It's all about ambiance at this restaurant. They can't get a burger or salad right! I've had other dishes and they're nothing to brag about.

Staying in Clemson on a Sunday a friend wanted to watch NCAA basketball Elite 8 games and have a few drinks. With Clemson being in a dry county we drove to Copper River Grill about 10 minutes away. The place has the same type of experience as a Ruby Tuesday, with a similar grade of food. Another friend had told us their wood fired pizza was decent so we ordered that an the Copper River salad and split it. In this area, Copper River Grill is a pretty good spot, great for families and just to hang out. Unfortunately, their bar area needs a face lift. The TV's are about 13 inches and look like they are from the 80s. Meanwhile, the pizza is definitely worth ordering. It's thin pizza and isn't going to rival true pizzerias, however, in this part of the Upstate, this spot might be tough to beat. Our salad was good, too, complete with fresh romaine lettuce and crisp, cool veggies. The service was good, too.

While the food was expensive even for lunch time. The food was good by not a lot considering the price. This seems really expensive for this area. While I will not be visiting again, those of you that don't mind spending outrageously for meal, will enjoy.

This place is doing it right. Hostess was friendly and accommodating. Our waiter Cody took care of everything we needed. Great food, great service, great restaurant.

Of COURSE I had to eat at the only place in the area had been review by Yelp. However, I didn't get a chance for it to be my idea to go here... my mother suggested it and off we went. Decor: Okay, the decor is a miss. It's nice inside, but it seems like they're going for a cozy mountain lodge feeling but it's more sparse than rich. The walls are painted plain white and there's a different art theme on each walls, but they don't mic in together and it's not well positioned. Decor, however, it the only place this place missed. Food: We started with the shrimp and crab dip, which was rich and full and delicious. It was more crab and shrimp than anything else and came with yummy little garlic bread wedges. My friend, Dahlia, had a house salad (which was like a mini Cobb salad with egg and bacon and ham) and she-crab soup. I didn't try the salad but it looked like it could be a meal on it's own. Also, she got blue cheese dressing and it was LOADED with chunks of blue cheese. I did try the soup and it was rich and fatty and delicious. Emphasis on fatty, but yum. My mother got chicken tenders (served with honey BBQ sauce) and they were very good. The batter was thin and flavorful and the chicken must have been flash fried because ti was juicy but not at all greasy. I have the black and blue salad. it was blackened tuna (cooked to order, I chose rare and it, in fact, came out rare) with blue cheese crumbles chopped lettuce and tomatoes and fried onions. The tuna was very very very good. It went well in the salad. The balsamic was just okay. The salads were served with honey butter croissants (which are also an appetizers) and they were AMAZING. Think fresh baked little croissant.. buttery and flaky... drizzled with honey. Yum. we did not have dessert. Beverages: They had sweet and unsweetened tea. They have a full bar. The beverages are not overpriced and the pours are good. Service: The service was impeccable. We never wanted for everything. Our refillable beverages were refilled before we even thought to ask and the food was perfectly spaced (with a nice break between app and meal, but not so long that you're wondering where your food is). I recommend Copper River to anyone in the area.

Large portions, decent prices and good food. Copper River Grill looks like a chain from the outside but I don't think it actually is one. I had the chicken fettuccine and my wife had the salmon. The meal tasted good but the food was not hot, this put me off a bit but I'd still go back. Like Dawn said, decor is a complete miss. There was no theme per wall when I was there (2 days ago), just white wall. The owner should really do something about that, the place has real potential.

Four of us, prime rib sandwich, two burgers and baked potato soup and salad. Food was good and the prices weren't bad. We had great service the first time from Ms Julia, the second time we got a different server and the service was just so-so. We liked the food enough to good back a second time and both times we came away happy. I got a Rib-eye the steak was good, not the greatest, but on par for the price. One of the boys got Big Foots Momma and somehow managed to finish the huge burger!

Kids loved their burgers - very large. Steak had good flavor but was dry, and stuffed flounder was overcooked and not really edible. Also bugged us that the meals arrived when we had just started our salads and we had to ask for drink refills.

I love this place, especially when we can get seated in the private cubby hole in the bar area! The place always looks packed but, as a party of 2 and choosing the bar area for smoking, we never have trouble getting seated. They serve everything from seafood, cedar grilled salmon to die for, to pizza which is hard not to completely eat in one sitting it so good! The service is always perfect and our bellies are always full when we leave.

Food and service are very good. They make a good burger and their portions are large. My friends love the soup, prime rib and croisants. It is a place I would go back to as there are not too many good/great restaurants in Seneca.

The portions for the House Salad as a side dish was full dish. The Hickory Smoked Salmon was great. All the waitresses was wonderful and met our every needs. Pricing was accordingly. The Northern Light Cocktail was wonderful for wife.

The BBQ Chicken nachos are delicious. Our server was awesome. I only gave four stars because, though my meal came out hotter than any meal I have ever ordered anywhere, the Kodiak chicken was over cooked. It had good flavor, but it was extremely tough and very dried out. Other than that our meals were good and I would go back.

Been here twice. Both times were with a group of nine. Oftentimes large groups are greeted with less than enthusiasm but not so here. Friendly, efficient servers are very knowledgeable about all menu items and very accommodating of special requests. Our group had everything from pizza, burgers, and chicken fingers to entree salads and pasta. The quality of everything was very good and portions were more than ample. Most of us took home good.

Very Large Portions, go here if you are hungry. The House Salad is enough to fill me up for lunch. A good place for small groups, not a great date spot as it can be a little noisy. Parking lot is not quite big enough when they are busy.

I ate there with my wife and son. The decor is non-existent. The walls are almost completely bare giving it a hospital feel. My wife ordered their signature salad, the Copper River salad. Turns out it is just yellowish iceburg lettuce; the part that people usually throw away. As for service, the waiter had a style I would describe as "drive-by waiting". He would walk by at a fast pace and say "Are you guys doing ok?". The problem was he wouldn't slow down to see if we actually needed anything. He was gone before we could even get a word out. Some of the food was ok, but the overall experience was lacking for that price range.

Keep driving...to anywhere. The staff are really nice, but the food at this place is positively awful. Shrimp po-boy? Miss. Kids Mac & cheese? Fail. Onion rings? Greasy strings of paper thin onions, negative. Frozen fries, just sad. Prime rib sandwich? Yeah...no. Pizza ain't great either, but it's the lesser of the evils, if you must.

Salad was good, veggies decent. NY strip was just plain tough and tasted only of pepper. Wife had flounder stuffed with crab and that seemed way fishy. Not worth the 50 bucks. Unlikely to return.
