Favorite place to eat in the area!! Amazing atmosphere, always high quality food, and speedy service. I could go on and on about this place!! BBQ is great, but I would also suggest the shrimp mo boy. Great family atmosphere!

Loved the atmosphere! I tried the pulled pork platter, with mac and cheese, baked beans and banana pudding. Enjoyed everything but nothing in particular blew me away. Servings were smaller than expected.

If you like authentic southern taste, you have to try this place. Great pulled pork and collard greens were superb.Very friendly staff and good entertainment on week-ends. Cat fish prepared the southern way!!! Yum on everything we tried.

Best BBQ in the area!!!! Worth driving from Myrtle Beach if you have to. Sandwich Special was $9.75. Pulled pork sandwich (a hefty one) comes with a drink and two sides. One of the sides available today was shrimp bisque. It was so good, I would have bought a ton of it and kept frozen if I lived locally. This location is very nice. Outside and in side seating and a nice 8 stool bar inside. Great for large groups and for take out orders.

My first experience with Moe's. I am temporarily stuck at home in a wheelchair so friends brought me carry out. Pulled chicken was perfect! I used the white BBQ sauce and it was the perfect addition. Slaw was just right as I like it. Mac and Cheese was like home made. Mud pie was the best I have ever enjoyed. I can barely wait to go there under my own steam.

4 stars simply because this moe's location does not live up the other locations throughout the south. The food it's self is awesome. Just as good if not better but the atmosphere here feels almost forced. Overall the BBQ is just what I love, and it was a great meal. Make sure to try the Mississippi mud pie. Wow is all I can say.

This is a great place to enjoy excellent southern barbecue. The meals are delicious, they have a great selection of sides, especially the daily specials, AND it has a bar and multiple televisions. A perfect combination for a great afternoon or evening meal. I have had a hard time finding good barbecue in this area, until now. Moe's is a MUST for any lover of good BBQ. Also, the staff is very friendly. Go Moe!!

This place is so cute and the food was amazing. Very nice staff and I even bought some bbq sauce to take back to New York.

I live in the south understand what BBQ is and am not from NY. I love Moe's BBQ and am glad they are in my home town. The BBQ is excellent and their sides are exceptional. The management is top notch as well. As evidenced by their expansion and growth, the locals agree with me. If you don't know BBQ then go ahead to a chain like Sticky Fingers or something. More room for locals at Moes.

From the outside Moe's appears to be a new BBQ joint on a busy road. While the BBQ is ok and I emphasize OK the decor and building make the place above par. I had a pork sandwich with beans and banana pudding. The sandwich as stated was ok but nothing extraordinary or special. The beans were actually pretty good having some spice to them. The big dissapointment was the banana pudding. I thought I was going blind searching for bananas as there were absolutely zero in the cup. It was also obvious that the pudding was Jello pudding mix and really was bad unfortunately. In the end this BBQ joint is a beach town tourist spot. I was hoping for a hidden gem and what I got was typical marginal tourist targeted food. I should have known better when I didn't see any smoke or smoker as well as the cashier's northern accent. I'm not saying northerners can't cook but BBQ and Yankees just do not normally mix well. Also, there was only one sauce but plenty of alcohol on hand. All in all, seen it, tried it and won't be back as I can find the same BBQ at Sonny's or Corky's.

Not the best but not the worst. We had 1/2 chicken meals, and the chicken could have cooked a bit longer. Not your fall off the bone type chicken. Maybe it was because they ran out and didn't let this batch cook as long as they should have. The sides were small and not all that tasty.

I didn't realize this was a chain restaurant until I read it on the beverage cup. There were four of us and we were all happy with our food. Everything is served in a paper lined basket and the sides are in a small plastic cup. Pulled pork was very good. It came with a very small portion of coleslaw and a couple of pickle slices. Mine was a 'platter' so no bread and it came with two sides. The sauce was excellent and I want some more right now. Mac & cheese was dry and really needed more flavor. Green beans were hot and flavorful. You can upgrade you're order with four chicken wings for $3. Several combos available along with sandwiches. The Mississippi mud pie was very good and they also had a banana something that our table loved. I'm not a big desert guy. Order at the register, pay, find a table and they'll bring the food to you. Beer and spirits (it's a Southern thing, I just call it booze) available. Lots of TV's and a small bar with maybe six chairs. Funny thing is they don't have a brisket dish.

Food was ok. Not a very good kids menu selection. Super crowded. Trying to sit or walk anywhere during a rush is really hard. Really over priced and small portions. Food was good. Just wish there was more of it for what you pay.

Portions are small. The ribs seemed boiled or steamed and ad no tasty bark or nice crust. Menu said catfish but they were just catfish bits and not fillets. Its interesting that you never see smoke from a smoker or smell hickory smoke that is usually always part of a BBQ restaurant.

I have had BBQ all over the country and this was by far the worst EVER!! My wife had the ribs that where extra fatty and looked like they were boiled and bland! I had the "turkey" which looked like thick slices from a deli. No flavor. Mac and cheese came in a cup and where glued together like the cheese was added and put in the microwave oven?? For 28 dollars it was expensive and terrible. We will not be back !!! For some reason the review above is no longer listed so I am adding this comment to get it reposted.

The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is because I'm a transplant from Texas and BBQ isn't complete without Brisket BBQ . Other than that this is a good place to come get your fix. The BBQ sauce is a mix of Carolina vinegar and Midwest Sweet. Perfect mix. Get the Mac and Cheese and Tomato Cucumber sides. Make sure to ask for extra white sauce!

Moist soft pulled pork with tomatoey nicely spiced barbecue sauce. Really good baked beans. Corn bread is just okay. Rib meat fell off the bone, but there wasn't a lot of meat on the bone. Smoked chicken gumbo was nice and flavorful. Really friendly atmosphere, fun and the people who own it are extremely nice.

Watched with great anticipation as this place went up literally overnight. Parking lot was packed since day one. Can understand why. The Food is really good. Simple menu and daily side specials. They kept it simple and very tasty. The owner who prances around and among the patrons is a personable and dynamic fellow and that all lends well to this BBQ "shack" or "joint" place. Their first week open, the place ran like a well oiled machine... why? Cuz it is a chain... some 30+ "joints" operating throughout the USA. Many in Alabama and Colorado and in the Carolinas. This small chain started up by Three Boys from Alabama in 2001 grew to what it is now. Crazy about their BBQ and will be back hopefully to face smaller crowds at the counter. Not too into the sweet sauces, but more a fan of the mustard or vinegar based and will have to ask for that offering next time I'm in. SaleebScore: Service (walk up, but they deliver your food to table): 7/10, Food: (for BBQ): 8/10, Value: 10/10...
