The food and friendly service is wonderful! Always a good choice for breakfast or lunch. The Philly cheesesteak, chili dogs, biscuits and gravy... everything actually... is always delicious! And bonus = Sunday brunch proceeds go to breast cancer research. Such a treat!

I ordered the cold cut sub and a side of cucumber and onion salad. I came in for takeout. Maybe this is a New England thing but I asked for peppers and they had to ask the manager. I asked for vinegar on the sub and ended up getting balsamic. I asked for everything and didn't get mayonnaise, tomato, or lettuce. The bread is fresh as is the meat; I chose salami and ham. The cucumber and onion salad was outstanding. The service was mostly polite although they didn't let me ring up right away and made me wait up front. For a 8" sub with aside and iced tea I paid $12! Crazy pricey.

All I can say is WOW. The steam cheeseburger is something to try. If you want greasy spoon, sugary iced tea, and true southern hospitality this is your place.

Cute restaurant. Locally owned and operated. Husband told me about the chipped beef gravy so we went for that purpose only.... AMAZING!!! Luckily, they had it though because it's not on the menu. We had to inquire. Reasonably priced. Will be back.

~ Delicious breakfast in a small family owned cafe ~ So glad we stopped by for breakfast. I had the egg, bacon & hash brown plate that came with the most heavenly biscuit I've had. Warm, soft and fluffy. Yum! If you like hash browns like I do - this is your place. They serve delicious shredded hash browns and a hash brown casserole that was amazing. The prices are great - especially for the quality of the food. The husband and wife owners are adorable. If they weren't closed tomorrow, we'd be back!

I have stopped for lunch and had the sloppy Joe and macaroni and cheese the food was good and so was the service. I hadn't heard very good things about their food and enjoyed it. The bill comes and it's 7.65 so I left a cash tip of three dollars which I thought was a good tip only to find out they added a dollar on so I was charged $8.65 an extra dollar without my knowledge! I won't be back that is stealing!

Friendly staff, home cooked food and quaint atmosphere. The specials are usually always good. Steer clear of the burger it's just was OK and the turkey plate was nasty the stuffing tasted like vinegar. However, everything else we have eaten has been great - cheeseburger soup, Italian sandwich, desserts yum! The only thing that kind of is a bummer is how small it is. If you go on a lunch rush, you will have to wait and there is hardly any room to do so. However, staff is again very nice and they try very hard to accommodate ever customer : ) I love mom & pop restaurants!

Taylor ham , cheese and egg on a hard roll. OMG! I thought I was in the Bendix Diner sans truck drivers!
