Well I'm not sure what the hype is about. The subs here aren't bad, they just aren't anything special in my opinion. All of the meats and veggies are fresh and the sandwich is nice and neatly made, but there's just no "spice" to it. And I've gone back (and back) to keep trying something different to see if I just got a basic sub. Just a standard sub in my book. Downside: bread is tough/chewy...like in a small way like trying to rip leather with your teeth Upside: seems like easily the freshest meats and veggies of any of the chains

So, very expensive bland sandwich. No kids menu. And supposedly veggies etc are freebies yet you charge less for a sandwich without veggies, so not free. Charge for cheese etc... Bread was tough. Good side the meat though bland tested really good, fresh, etc. My personal side complaint. I have a two yr old... No kids menu, fine will share. I bought double meat, and they couldn't put the extra meat on the side..seriously? So I have to open up my sandwich and pull out 1/2 the meat For my kid? And this is company policy? Won't be back, won't miss it. Go to Firehouse.

So much Jimmy John's hate on here, and not just for this location either, most of them have negative reviews. That's unfortunate because this place is pretty awesome. First off their bread is great. One of my favorite breads from a sub place. Second, the Italian Night Club with Hot Peppers is better than anything JMs has. If you've never given this place a shot, don't be scared off by the negative reviews, try it!

Yesterday I ordered a #10 Hunter Sandwich for lunch, which I have had at multiple other Jimmy John's in the past. I took it back to work, opened it up and the bread was BURNT and STALE at the top of the loaf. Seriously??? How is this place still in business when quality controls are so low? I will not be returning to this location anytime soon. Maybe I'll try the one on old trolley.

I'm from IL, the ones there are better, but the bread is way better then most, and the food is what you'd expect. Clean, nothing more to say.

very clean and inviting place. sandwiches tasted good. the only downside is that it is located near a busy road, rivers avenue and during weekdays at lunch hours can be hectic.

I work 2.1 miles from their N. Charleston location (looked up on Google maps) but they don't deliver here? Why advertise delivery if your radius is less than 2 miles?! Lost a good customer because I can EAT.

I am in love with their Beach Club sandwich. It is the perfect blend of turkey, cheese, bread, and avocado. Of the half dozen times I have now ordered it, it has always been a tasty sandwich that is satisfyingly satisfying. Their delivery service is always super fast; however, they often forget a pen if you pay via credit card or they dig around in their pocket for far too long looking for change if you pay via cash. The inside of the restaurant has always been clean albeit empty. I think that may have to do with the odd location off of rivers. None the less, if you are in the area and looking for a sub not named way, then you should hit up Jimmy John's (and preferably try the Beach Club) and be prepared to be blown away.

I love this place, even if it is a chain. The guys that work there are always great and I go there probably more than I should be willing to admit. I love the "unwhich" which is the sandwich wrapped in lettuce instead of bread and they have never messed up my special order.

Just stopped by with my daughter for a couple of sandwiches. Don't know what the negative reviews are about, but we found this store to be great. It's a sandwich shop people! The staff was pleasant and professional, the restaurant was clean and the food was good. We ate in and took some home for the rest of the family. Will definitely be back.

This is the worst place we have gotten food at. It was delivery. The messed up all 3 of our sandwiches including that they were suppose to be sandwiches (sliced bread) and they put them on hoagie rolls. They charge for every single thing. My husband called to get them to rectify the problems. A manager promised he would credit us for three free sandwiches on our next order. Well we called tonight to get our sandwiches and the manager said he only credited us with 1 sandwich. We told them to just forget it. We'll never order food from them again. I see from other reviews here that we are not the only ones that have had problems with Jimmy Johns. I hope they go out of business.

I've noticed this place sitting empty (no customers) so often when I drive by so I thought I would stop and give it a shot. I quickly found out why there is never any business...boring. Boring atmosphere, boring service, boring menu. I'll take Jersey Mike's for a sub anytime. I realize these are only sub sandwiches but come on, do something to liven it up. Should you decide to stop in, do carry some ear plugs as their music (again, boring selection of songs) is BLARING. I won't be back.

I've loved jimmy johns for years, they are everywhere up north... The roast beef with hot peppers and cheese or the beach club with avocado and bean sprouts... Perfect picnic and lunch food ... Quality consistently and happy atmosphere to boot :) :)
