I always get.the burrito bowl or burrito. Never been disappointed and even though this place is always slammed they are extremely fast. Great quality ingredients.

The nicest and cleanest Chipotle I have ever been to!! The manager there was so nice and the whole experience was great! I am very picky and this place is spotless. The food was perfect! Thanks Cody for the amazing service!

We do not have a Chipotle in Destin, Fl so whenever I'm near one it's a must on my travel menu!

What can I say? Your food tastes like every other chipotle from Denver to Seattle. But c'mon people... You're Chipotle burrito rolling skills need some serious work! I've been three times now, hoping and praying you're skills improve. Nope. My advice to my fellow burrito connoisseurs, don't bother. Get the quesadilla I guess.

I love Chipotle and this is the best one I have been to. It does get kind of busy around lunch and dinner time but it is worth the wait! The staff is nice and they give you big portions of food.

Okay so I'm not one to post such negative reviews because I work in the hospitality industry but my experience here was just beyond awful. They close at 10pm and I walked in at 9:11 but you would think It was much later because what unfolded next was beyond me. Their grill was completely pulled out and cleaned, when asked for a steak quesadilla they said it would have to be made to order steak and would take some time, I said that's no problem I can wait, she then asked if she could just use the little bit of steak left in the Warmer and mix it with half of something else. I said that's fine. Even though it should have never been brought up because to my knowledge I was waiting for them to cook more steak. Then she proceeded to ask if I wanted rice I said yes please some white rice, but they only had the brown rice. After cooking my quesadilla in the tortilla Warmer she asked if I wanted a side of salsa or Guacamole I asked for a side of queso, but they didn't have any queso, I asked for just a side of chips and salsa but they also didn't have any chips. I refuse to ever return to such an establishment. They were obviously trying to close up shop, but they still had over 45 minuets left of work and hungry people who were there to PURCHASE their product. Beyond belief to me that a place like this could stay in business. They really need to fix quiet a few things here. Very dissatisfied. Is it an option to give less than one star?

You gotta love Chipotle and this location doesn't disappoint. 4 stars because it is fast food although I think they're obviously in a different league. They do get very busy but they seem to handle it well. Be careful, the chicken is highly addictive!

I love chipotle. My only complaint about this location is that parking is ATROCIOUS and I HATE RIVERS AVENUE. Also, they sometimes run out of brown rice, which is a travesty. #whitewine Can't beat those burritos, though

Pretty good Chipotles. Obviously it's only a place you go when you get a craving for a Chipotle burrito ;) The staff is always friendly, they keep their location pretty clean and I always see them prepping new fresh ingredients whenever I stop in for a burrito! If you have never been to this chain before, I will say it's far better than the seemingly southern chain of Moes? Ick! The burritos are HUGE and beyond fairly priced for what you receive! I usually have to get a burrito for my husband and take a few bites from his before feeling stuffed!

As much as I love chipotle, this location typically disappoints in waiting time and portion size inconsistency. Lunch is busier than most in the area. I guess I've been spoiled by other chipotles that are super fast and pile on the proteins.

'Bout time we got a Chipotle here. Can't figure out why it's taken so long to get one in a metro area of around 800k. Glad we got one, but why just one? On the other hand, glad we got it in North Charleston and not Mt. Pleasant, which is where everything goes. Even though the line was long, they moved very fast. I was very happy with my gigantic burrito. Their guacamole is pretty good too. Be prepared to wait in line, but it should go fast.

fast mexican. I'd get a bowl instead of a burrito since it can get messy.

Slighty better than mediocre! There was a long line, but it moved pretty quickly. The menu displays what seems like a barren wasteland of options, but there's room to customize when you're being asked about what you want on your burrito or burrito bowl. Sadly, the rice choice is white or brown...but both of them have cilantro. Cilantro is evil but I accept that most people like it. The pulled beef was described to me as being "medium heat". I had that, along with the "hot" salsa, and there wasn't a dash of heat to be found in any of the bites. It was, however, pretty tasty. Perhaps the worst feature of this Chipotle is the dining area layout. The majority of the seating is on either side of a long line of 2-seater tables pushed together. It feels like they bought too many tables and at the last minute said "hey, this isn't really anything like Mexican food anyway, so let's go for Italian family-style seating." All things considered, I really can't complain - but I can't rave about it either. It seems like people like it because other people like it...frankly, I enjoyed Moe's just as much.

Favorite restaurant in North Charleston. Fresh and healthy. You can't beat the price for the quality of good that you get. The chicken is awesome. I would eat here every day if I could. Highly recommend!

Chipotle should not be considered Mexican food. It is like eating a pizza hot pocket and saying you have been to Italy. Besides that fact, their burritos are decent and enormous. Their pricing is alright for the amount of food but the lines are atrocious. They offer an online ordering program and I will advise anyone to use it. The parking lot for this restaurant is horrid as well. There are not a lot of parking spots and I found myself circling the parking lot twice. But I guess it is just that popular. Like I said prior their lines are horrible and for their quality of food it almost feels not worth it. Plus, they have an upcharge for guacamole but maybe its that the price for freshness. Who knows exactly? Chipotle was decent but not what I expected. I would come back only if I was near this location.

The best chain burrito place around; and because we are in the South, the best burrito place around. They use really fresh ingredients and you can really tell when you bite into your burrito. If you haven't already, you have to try the Barbacoa! The manager, Cody, and the whole staff are great. Highly recommended!

Uh-oh Moes- you better watch out! Chipotle is Charleston's newest foray into the fast Mexican food scene. Let me tell you- you will not be disappointed. Chipotle is stylized as an industrial look- lots of metal and open ceilings. The restaurants vary in size. I have been in some really large Chipotles and some rather small Chipotles. This one falls as a medium size Chipotle. The food prep counter and register is up front and the seating is right smack in the middle of the restaurant. This allows a very nice flow in the restaurant. Chipotle is a "what you see is what you get" restaurant. The food is prepared directly in front of you- no hidden kitchens cooking the ingredients. The food is prepared for your consumption in front of you as well in an industrial style line. You choose what type of preparation you want (burrito, salad, taco, etc.), choose your meat and/or beans, and then you follow your order down the line adding the rest of the ingredients. The meats here are extremely flavorful unlike some of their competition. The meats are also high in quality. The meats and the rest of the ingredients are also all natural as well. The salsas here are fantastic. My particular favorite is their hot sauce. It has just the right amount of heat and the flavor is out of this world. Their cheddar-jack cheese is out of this world- you can really taste the freshness. The chips here are also fantastic. Unlike competitors, these chips actually have taste to them! They are prepared with a hint of lime and sea salt and are always baked fresh. The employees here are all extremely nice. Some of the nicest Chipotle employees I have seen thus far. They all had smiles on their faces. Even though they are new, the line went smoothly and efficiently. The restaurant is extremely clean. The parking lot is somewhat on the small side, but I think it will be manageable. What is nice about this particular location is that like Best Buy, they have parking spots dedicated to web and iPhone ordering. I can see this coming in as very handy. This place is a must go- especially if you like fresh, wonderful, and tasty ingredients!

Walk in. Wait in line for 10 minutes. Burrito. Brown rice. Chicken. Mild and Medium. Corn. Cheese. Sour Cream. Lettuce. Chips. No Salsa. No Drink. To go. Hand over 10 dollars. And that is the production line experience of Chipotle. Remove mexican from the name as Chipotle is its own brand of food. If you are looking for an early lunch to hold you over until a late dinner then this is the place for you. Watch out for the owner though because even if you are waiting in line he will expect you to accommodate him and move out of his way even though you are out of the way and off to the side.

So happy you're here! Had lunch today, wasn't perfect but it beats not having you! Wish we would get one in West Ashley. Thank god we aren't relegated to Moe's anymore!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
