Ambience. A Service. A Food. A Price. A. I've always heard "great BBQ, but bad sides...!" However, that was not my experience today. Service was very friendly. Making recommendation. They bus your table too! Also, let me know the desserts are flown in frozen in from Carnegie NY. Huge slices! Lots of private parking and newer interior and bright fluorescent. Clean interior and clean restrooms! Order at counter/ self help drinks/ and food brought to table. I ordered the pork plate with 2 sides- hash and rice / fully loaded baked potato salad. Sliced white bread on request. Nice good pile of moist pulled chopped pork with great favors in both side dishes. Also, I like their various sauces offered on the table. I like the tantalizing mustard BBQ sauce the most but really enjoyed tasting all 5 various sauces from mild to spicy! I'm a fan and will be back. Daddy says to give them 4 stars.

The BBQ is much better than BBQ barn (I genuinely don't understand how anyone could like that place), but it's still not the best. The sides are abysmal. Just don't bother! The Mac and cheese, a staple at many BBQ joints is mushy and absolutely flavorless, the hash is inedible, and the sides otherwise that I've had lack flavor overall. The sides described online are not the same as what they actually are. The sauce is ok, but nothing special. Also, skip going inside altogether unless you like really loud country music blaring over your own thoughts. That was probably my least favorite part of this place. I personally recommend, being as it'll be what I do in the future, plan a dinner at home, grab some buns, and just get some BBQ to go.

Like everyone else on Yelp - I think? - I use it to find good reviews of restaurants BEFORE I eat at them. However, in the case of Pot Smokers BBQ, it was recommended to me by my boss. Since we have talked NUMEROUS times about our mutual love of good barbeque, I knew that I could trust her judgement. So, today I went, and placed an order to-go. While I was waiting on my order, I decided to check out the reviews of the place. I was shocked by the number of ok to not good reviews, and was wondering about my boss' taste. I got home and sampled the Loaded Baked Potato Salad first. To be honest, they were a little heavy on the sour cream, but it was about perfect other than that. It tasted just like a perfect baked potato, except it was in salad form. Excellent. The next thing I tried was their version of Cole Slaw. I am a big slaw fan, and while they do not makes theirs like everyone else, It was excellent. Creamy; Seasoned perfectly. My next sample was the ribs. Normally, I like my ribs without sauce; just the dry rub. However, I forgot to specify that in my order, and so it had a nice thin coating of their mild sauce. The ribs were cooked perfectly, and you could smell just a hint of the "smoke". The taste was heaven. And, to top it off, that were about the leanest pork ribs I've had, with lots of thick, smoked meat. Lastly, I tried the Hash and Rice. This was also different, in that it was served with the hash and the rice separate, so that you could mix it to your own desired mix. Love that! The hash was good. Not great, but very good. Flavor and consistency were well done. Maybe not what brings the customer in the door, but it is a reason to come back. When I bought all of the above, I also picked up a half pound of pulled pork. My wife has tried it and likes it, but I am too full - for now Thanks Pot Smokers BBQ for a great meal. I'll definitely be back!!

Expensive for a BBQ "joint". You pay about $3 more per plate than the "Barn". BBQ pulled pork had good smoky flavor but I was not wowed by the flavor of the 2 main sauces. I tried the loaded baked potato salad. It was ok but seem to lack the basic seasonings. I also tried the coleslaw and it was not dressed to give it any flavor. Needed vinegar, mayonnaise, and some seasonings. They did a great job fixing up the place but I think they could have came up with a better family name.

Comfortable experience. Staff was very friendly and kind. Space is accomodating and food is great (especially the pulled pork). The manager or owner of the restaurant stopped by our table and asked how we were doing. I thought that showed great hospitality. Oh and their new york cheesecake was delicious!

I will give the skinny. For 2 drinks, a pork plate (comes with 2 sides), and a half slab rib plate (comes with 2 sides) it will cost you $27. This place is very simple with a down home family feel. You walk to the counter at the back and place your order at the cashier where you can see people working away at making plates in the back. Everyone truly seems to be in a good mood and happy to be there and proud to be serving you their BBQ. You take your drinks and sit down and wait for someone to call out your name and then they will bring you your food once you respond. The place is definitely clean but is a bit noisy due to the cement floor. A plate of Nachos was ordered and they were pretty neat and good. They had some pulled pork, jalapenos, cheese, served over what I am fairly certain is house made pork rinds. The pork rinds are so good and they do make that a pretty good dish. Everyone in our group order something different. The chicken was excellent, the pulled pork was ok, and the ribs were good. The ribs have bite left to them, which I prefer, and not fall off the bone. There were 3 sauces on the table. The ketchup based sauce is ok but feels more suited for children. The mustard sauce is great for the chicken and the spicy sauce is great on the pork. Comments on the sides: slaw ok, loaded baked potato salad was good, the hash was great, the beans had great flavor but a little gloopy. Service is ok. There was an issue with our order in that my ribs took a while to come out while everyone else's meal was brought out. They offered me an apology and a brownie. I understand that ribs can't be really sitting in a warming pan, less you want them to be dried out and flavorless but don't say their coming out right now and then another 15 minute wait. All in all a good experience with good food and what I consider a reasonable price for the food we got. Definitely worth a try.

This is one of those locations where restaurants come and go every few months, but with the catchy name and redecoration inside I thought when I walked in this place may have a chance to break the chain. This might last, that is, if the food matched the effort they put into the looks of the place. So how was my food? The pulled pork and the baked beans were both very good. They have a variety of BBQ sauces at the table to top your meat with, though a couple did not taste too different from each other. The hash and rice was merely okay. I have had better, then again, I have had worse. The only thing I really did not like were the pork ribs. The two ribs I got had plenty of meat on them,. Unfortunately they were under cooked and tough. There was not a long wait time for the food. The place was clean. The portions were decent, nothing to get exited about, but enough to fill most people up. I would go back for the pulled pork and to try some other side dishes they have.

My sister and I went about 6 months. The BBQ was delicious but the hash was terrible. When I go to a BBQ restaurant I want good tasting hash. The service was friendly. Plenty of parking. Very clean.

Shredded BBQ itself was pretty good, the sauces were no better than most bottled sauces at best, and the rest of the food needed some seasonings. I had the baked potato salad and it had good ingredients, but zero seasoning added. Really wanted a baked potato and maybe a side salad, but alas these were not to be. Cole slaw lacked any distinct flavor whatsoever. The half-chicken we also ordered was actually quite tasty, with a smell of rosemary that greeted us immediately when we opened our to-go order box. Overall I would go back if they can figure out how to properly season their food.

Love the BBQ! I hardly use any sauce because it's just so flavorful! Baked beans are also amazing and one of my favorites here. A little pricey, but order the sandwich family meal and get a 1-1/2 lb of meat and two sides for 25$--cheaper than two eat dining in.

I absolutely loved the BBQ! My favorite in the area. Although I am a sauce fan, their BBQ did not need it. It had a great flavor all on its own. However, their sauces are pretty yummy. I loved that they had a ketchup based, mustard base, and others to choose from. The chicken is terrific too! We also had a slice of their made in New York cheese cake. It will be order again and I highly recommend it. It is a very large piece so plan on sharing or taking half home! This will definitely be out "go to" place for BBQ from now on.

Great food and the service is always excellent. The smokey BBQ and ribs are both delicious and require no sauce, although there are three great varieties for you to try. The cucumber medley is very good. Hash could use some work though.

Great food at a great price. Thursdays are Family Nights! It's conveniently located. The staff is friendly and the food is well prepared.

Excellent BBQ and customer service. Great family run business that makes you feel right at home as you eat! Ate here twice in 2 days!

Overpriced for what you get. Hash and coleslaw both had little flavor. Spent $11+ for a bbq plate and left feeling hungry. Meat had a good flavor but it was not a $11 portion size IMO (seemed spread out on the plate to look like a bigger amount than it was). They just opened so maybe things will get better with time.

Stopped by to pick up a plate for husband who works long hours. Ok...so we are BArBQue freaks and have tried them all. Plate was loaded with generous portion of pulled pork that tasted pretty good, small portion of bland tasting potatoe salad, and the hash was the about the worst either of us have ever tried. The sauce included in this dinner looked and appeared to be nothing more than flavored ketsup. Together we ate most of the barbeque and discarded the rest. Won't be going back and are baffled at some of the rave reviews this place has managed to get. Will give them this much however- they fixed this place is quite nice inside, but that is about all I can say.
