Corned beef and eggs with toast and homefries for under $8. Pretty good deal. I like this place for the price. It's a very casual dining experience. The service is hit or miss, but the food is consistently alright. Beware...the pancakes are pretty big.

Food was OK. But today hardly any one in here. Empty tables all clean ready to go and the hostess holding everyone back for some reason. No coffee in the waiting area. The whole place stank of an odd smell, I think the carpet needs replacing or steam cleaned and because of this I am updating my rating to two stars.

I would have rather gone to McDonalds. We moved from Charlotte which had some very solid breakfast options, so far the Augusta area is completely void of good Southern breakfast. This place had bad service and bad food. We waited for at least 20 minutes after our meal to get our check. We finally went up to the register to check out (without our check) and they then had to track down our waitress for another 5 minutes to get the check from her. They asked us how our meal was so we told them the food was very lackluster. We mentioned the bacon was extremely burnt and were told something along the lines of "well some people like it limp and some like it burnt...you should tell the server you want it in-between." Huh? We need to specify that our bacon should be cooked normally?

There was a long wait. The food wasn't fantastic. I would honestly rather go to the Waffle House. I don't understand what everyone sees in the place.

Woke up one morning wanted a really good breakfast, I decided to stop into Sunrise Grill. It hit the spot for me that morning. It's a small diner inside of a strip mall. As I entered, they were very busy, almost every table was occupied. That's always a good sign of great food! I was seated almost immediately, and the waitress was friendly and quickly took my order. I order the pancake and sausage combo. The pancakes were huge and very fluffy, but the sausages were extremely spicy. I love hot food but they were too hot...I had to force myself to eat them. But the food was still good. I definitely will be dining here again.
