Great friendly restaurant. some of the best burgers in Augusta. Try the chicken fingers as well! They're amazing!

A locally owned business still going strong 50+ years? What else do I need to say but I will..., breakfast biscuits rock. Salads are awesome too! I'm a regular.

I went for breakfast and the food was just OK. I ordered Hash Browns with my meal and they brought me a hash brown like you get at Mcdonalds. Not what I was expecting. I didn't like the fact that you have to stand in line to order the sit and wait for it. I prefer sitting down, looking over the menu while I drink coffee then placing my order.

I indulged in the hand-breaded chicken strips. They were delicious!! It is a light breading that is perfect and crispy. We went over the lunch hour so the service could have been a touch better but it was worth the wait!!

Good down home food. Staff was helpful and kind.

Love their biscuits. Never go wrong with fresh hot biscuits here. They also have the best grilled chicken salad here.

In one week I managed to dine at Gary's 3 times. Only once at the N. Augusta location. It was my 2nd Gary's meal, but first breakfast. I'd been craving a biscuit, so after a great run I decided to treat myself. A plain butter biscuit is to me a "food standard". You order them and can see how a place measures up to the competition. I had a side of bacon just for good measure. Both my biscuit and bacon were delicious. A bit crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Not overly salty or tainted with the flavor of baking powder. It was a nice day so I dined outside. The restaurant and facilities were clean and staff was friendly. I knew that it would not be my last Gary's breakfast and that driving past any Gary's when the biscuit craving hit next time would be very tough!

I hate to give 2 stars when there are morons that give burger king 3 and 4 stars. I had a double cheeseburger and fries for about 9-10 bucks. It was average beef with zero spice. Seemed like frozen beef but who cares when it has no flavor. Fries are ordinary out of a 3 gallon bag frozen nothingness. The toppings are fresh but nothing special. Definitely better than chemical enhanced burger king but not as good as Sportsman bar which only charges $5 vs $9 at Gary's.

Went here today. Waited 13 minutes for a chicken sandwich which cost $5. Just the sandwich. It turned out to be 3 tiny chicken tenders on a bun with lots of lettuce and a slice of tomato. Like really? $5 bucks just for a sandwich. You can get a meal at Chic Fil A for a dollar more! My JR. Burger had lettuce and tomato on it. On the menu it said it only came with ketchup and a pickle. Very disappointed. I remember going here as a child and teenager, this place was amazing! What happened?

Yummy hamburgers that are cooked when you order so it is always fresh and hot! Their fried chicken salad is awesome and fresh. Locally owned and it is always good to support local businesses.

AMBIENCE - C- SERVICE - B FOOD - B- PRICE - B- AMBIENCE - C- Clean, but old and rundown atmosphere...not much to the no-nonsense decor... but you're hopefully here for the burgers! SERVICE - B Lines during lunch can be long... just wait your turn in the que. FOOD B - I'm not a fan of their burger, it's just okay and I've had better, but LOVE their lightly battered FRIED OKRA! PRICE - B - The fried okra is the only thing I like... so that price is right!

Always like the burgers at Gary's. The breakfast chicken biscuit is very tasty also.

Great burger! A little pricy and slow so don't consider this fast food. It is much better than fast food!
(4)David N.
Their hand battered chicken fingers are by far the best thing on the menu. Home/handmade burgers are ok, nothing to write home about. Fries and onion rings are frozen and fried there, onion rings were rock hard.

Great burgers, cheesesteak is ok, catfish sandwich as well. Disappointing fries but huge serving of them... Friendly service, easy parking and convenient location. Enjoyed it so we went twice!

I was craving Gary's today and was very suprised to see alot of changes on the menu. Alot of items are not present anymore. The prices have also changed, most of them cheapier than what they were, which is always a plus. On the downside, they don't sell those delicious milkshakes that I recently raved about, which sucks...but I still love Gary's!!!!

It was ok. Line was pretty slow to be honest around the drive thru. Would I go again probably.

Burgers are handmade and very juicy and delicious I think they should change their fries they are just plain jane out of Kroger. I really like the wing/strip basket, the strips are lightly battered to perfection and the wings are buffalo style and really good, service has always been great and I forgot to mention their breakfast which I think is one if the best in augusta.
