Have been coming here for years. The staff is friendly and the coffee is excellent and they boast 71 different varieties of Omelets. I had what amounted to a Western Omelet. I actually tried to order the Western plus Jalapeños and was told they could not cook the Jalapeños in my Omelet..... She did offer to bring them on the side. I told here that was fine and it was not long before our food arrived. The Jalapeños on the side amounted to what would have been a quarter jar! Way more than I needed. I guess she felt guilty she could not give me what I had asked for. First time Yelpers get 20% off the entire meal. This was 20% off for both of us not just one like some place down in Murrells Inlet who will remain unnamed...... (Check Brides review)

I think the food is good here. We try to eat here a few times each summer. Really great selection of breakfast items to choose from. I had the pancakes with blueberries and whipped cream. They were good. The bacon they use is a little salty. And the orange juice is a little tangy. My husband had an omelette, but for some reason they wouldn't cook it with the jalapeño peppers in it. They would only give them to him on the side. I didn't quite understand that. He said his coffee was good. They give you a pot for the table. Overall it's a good breakfast place. It was crowded but we didn't have to wait long. I'll eat here again. It's close and convenient to where we stay.

Vast selection of omelets, stellar waitstaff, and cozy booth seating. You can't ask for much more to start off your day. The food is universally excellent, from the waffles to the eggs benedicts to the fresh fruit bowl. Waffles here are MUCH better than the nearby Waffle House, despite not having 'waffle' in their name. I never eat at the same place twice when I'm on vacation, but we came back the very next day. Woodhaven has everything you could possibly want. Don't forget to check in for 20% off!

Just recently went to Myrtle Beach for a 5 day vacation. Found this place and all the great reviews. Well coming from New York it just wasn't the same. Food was good, service was average but then again we were a group of 8 and it did take sometime to be seated and for food to come from the kitchen. Would return if ever in SC again

Awesome! So glad I read the reviews and decided to go, probably wouldn't have stopped if I was just driving by. We ordered the big breakfast and fresh start which had more than enough fruit to share for me and my 3 year old. Very friendly staff and prices were great. We walked from compass cove and will probably go back again before we leave.

This pancake house had great food once we found something they could actually prepare. We asked for the fruit cup and the kids eggs. We wanted the kids eggs folded like an omelet so our two year old could eat it easily. The server and the manager refused. They said the kitchen would not do any special requests. Really? They couldn't fold an egg? So we ordered it well fried. We ordered it first so she could eat. The waitress came back and said they didn't have all the fruit for the fruit cup but she could have a banana or strawberries or blueberries but only one type. So we ordered our food and milk with the meal. Soon she came back and said there weren't any crab cakes. Reordered. Then she came back and said there aren't any English muffins. Reordered yet again. (This happened at 9:00am in off season. I'd hate to see what happens in season!) Kids meal still isn't here. Finally came about 2 minutes before ours. Ours came but no milk. So in spite of the poor service and unfriendly kitchen, the food was excellent. Best biscuits we've had in Myrtle Beach. Wonderful seafood omelettes. But we wanted seafood eggs Benedict. The food gets 5 stars but the restaurant gets 1 star. I've never been to any restaurant that was so disorganized as to what was really available to order. Our waitress told us she just found out, but she never warned later tables of the unavailable items. So go for the food not the service.

We had breakfast here this morning. What a wonderful meal and the service was awesome! I ordered the special, two eggs, Paris toast, bacon and a dew! Husband had the chicken fried steak! Will definitely visit again before vacation is over! Very clean too! Well done!!!!!!! This was my meal! Picture perfect!

Very underrated spot! Great pancakes!! Huge menu also. We went here 4 out of 7 days we were here. Enjoyed every time.

My daughter and I stopped in after our morning flight for breakfast. She got the regular pancakes which were delicious and I got the egg sandwich which was quality. Coffee was good and the waitress was extremely nice and helped us with some information about the area as we had never been here before which was a nice touch. Overall, a must try!

Kids had Reese's with chocolate chip pancakes. Bam! I'm a hero! Full pot of coffee served at your table. Prices are very reasonable. $6.70 for three of them pancakes. 71 different types of omelettes

It had a crowded parking lot ...and Viv said well the parking lot is crowded that is a good sign I was so hungry it looks so generic and our waitress seemed to be in a hurry I had blueberry pancakes they were Ok not great just ok Vivs food was ok too not great just ok that is about it except they knew nothing about the check in offer and I was too tired to begin to argue

Myrtle Beach is cluttered with pancake houses. The rest of the state has a Waffle House every couple miles but in Myrtle Beach, every hundred yards sits a pancake house. Perhaps also famous for their famous wafflecam, the Woodhaven Pancake House offers 44 varieties of omelets plus a large selection of Belgian Waffles, pancakes and French toast. Chad ordered the Veggie Deluxe omelet stuffed with broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and peppers. He substituted the American cheese with feta and really liked it. His omelet also came with a shortstack of pancakes- a big hearty meal for under $7. I went for the Reese's Belgian waffle. Light and fluffy and topped with peanut butter chips, chocolate chips and whipped cream, this was a little piece of Heaven. I am not a person who normally orders sweet stuff for breakfast, but I couldn't pass up the peanut butter and chocolate combination. It was like a peanut butter and jelly waffle with the blueberry syrup. There are many other options on the menu including Eggs Benedict and the New York Strip and Eggs. Plus, the lunch menu is served all day as well. We didn't try any other pancake house while in Myrtle Beach and I am not sure we need to. Woodhaven had anything we could possibly crave for breakfast.

Stopped in for breakfast. My boyfriend and I both got omelettes since they seemed to be famous for them. Although we both finished them we weren't overly impressed. Felt like they kinda cheated us on some filling and they were both kind of bland. Waitress was kind of annoyed with me asking if I could add something to an omelette. Coffee was fresh though! Not sure how the other options are but I wouldn't return for our meal. Eggs Up Grill was better IMO.

Ate there twice on vacation! Really good food and great service! Loved the yelp coupon!

Not sure how or why this place has such high ratings we were seated in the back by the window because we had a big party and aside from the green edges on the toast we had to fight flies off our food wish I could say that was the worst we had to physically move ourselves because it became unbearable with the flies!! NASTY Place the flies are all over the food and condiments so good luck with the bottle of syrup they leave on the tables! NEVER AGAIN We decided to let the flies enjoy the breakfast

There are alot of Pancake houses around , but I would return here again. On vacation in February we stopped in to eat. I had a pancake breakfast...decent eats. The staff was friendly (even though we stopped in close to closing).

Very good food. Nice service. We came here twice during our 6-day trip. Both time we ordered Paris toast which is very good. I ordered Eggs Michael the first time and Eggs Alaska the second time and I love them both.

We came in for brunch and although the parking lot was full we waited for only 10 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive, also very detailed. The food was really good. I had the surf and turf and the my friend created her own. Everything was fresh and juicy. The price was really reasonable, they do honor the 20% off. We'll definitely be back again.

Being from NY my husband and I wanted a true southern breakfast... This place delivers! I had southern fried chicken with sausage gravy, eggs and home fries with a buttermilk biscuit my husband chicken and waffles. We left beyond satisfied and all for $25. I honestly don't know how or if people can eat like this every day. I can't explain each item separately or my review would be crazy long... So take my word for it, everything was amazing! Tender chicken, homemade everything, soft biscuit hmm hmm. Did I mention they leave the carafe with all you can drink coffee? Eat here if you get the chance.

Food was good but an employee was smoking in an office next to the dining area. When I asked the manager about it she said that it is a smoke free restaurant. I explained that I understand that it is supposed to be but I can smell it coming from the office. They moved our table but did not address the smoking with whomever it was. Not addressing it lets me know that she already knew about it and either condones it or it is someone higher in the chain of command the she is.

This restaurant is a pretty good place for breakfast. I had the big breakfast which includes eggs, sausage fried potatoes and French toast. I enjoyed just about my entire meal, I could not even finish my French toast,

We went back again the next day and the French toast was even better than before. Stacey was our waiter and she was so down to earth and friendly. Make sure to ask for Stacey!

We come here every single time that we're in the area, and they have consistently been one of the best places to eat on the Grand Strand. They are usually much busier during the summer, but the waiting staff are always attentive, friendly and our order is always 100% correct.

Didn't know that they had a 20 percent discount on Yelp so we only got a 10 percent discount . The portions are small but they have a huge selection of omelets. It's not enough for boy appetites. Food is fair. Not fantastic, not bad.

We ate at Woodhaven Pancake House for the first time. I had a vege omelet which was wonderful. Service was great. I'll definitely be back next time we are down here.

Not bad for a pancake house. Two of us ran a total on breakfast eats of $25. Quality and portions were on a par with most others in town. Nothing special but not a dive either. Our server was attentive and pleasant. When I checked in on Yelp I received a 20% off coupon - that was nice. Until I went to check out, then my opinion plummeted and they're lucky I gave two stars. I presented the guy at the register my nice 20% off coupon on the phone and he said, "ok, I can give you 10% off" to which I, of course, replied that it's a 20% off coupon. (Note: I didn't really care. I don't usually even use coupons. But it popped up here so I did.) We were promptly interrupted by a particular rude and hostile server at the register (not one who had helped us at all) who explained to me that, "you have to print it!" To which I informed her that most people don't carry a printer around with their phone to breakfast. Her answer was, "use a USB cable!" So I'll assume she's a clueless idiot. Bless her heart. It's a shame too - without the two numb nuts on the leaving side I had a pleasant eats and was prepping a nice review. As it is, I don't pay $25 to be abused by a server in a bad mood. We won't be back and will pass the word amongst our dining crowd. Ps: if the employees wore name tags I'd name them here. These two didn't.

This is a decent place to eat. We usually stop here on the last morning on the way home each visit. The menu is pretty extensive. If you go with a group, everyone should be able to find something they like. Quality of the food is good, though portions could be a bit larger. Prices are good though. My only complaint is the smell of cigarette smoke throughout the dining room. Really doesn't do a lot of good to have separate smoking/non smoking rooms when there's a large corridor connecting them. I'm not against smoking as I think adults should be able to be adults, but I don't think a smoke free eating environment is too much to ask.

Nantucket omelet was delicious! Never had refills on our water but waitress was super nice and it was great other than that!

    (4)
  • Antonio J.

Absolutely not what I expected! Don't let the 44 omelets sign fool you they are small portions...Very small, and the pancakes that come with it are hard and spongy. They charged me $2.79 for a child sized apple juice and said it was large. My experience was not great at all. We should have just stopped at the IHOP which was down the street.

Super yummy "beach day breakfast" a little bit of everything... or a LOT! My family ate here in August and it was packed! Our waitress was swamped, but gave us wonderful service and even understood my 4 year old's crazy requests :) We even got our 20% discount! We will definitely be back next time we are at the beach, and highly recommend!!!

This place has great food, cheap prices and extremely nice people! I wish they were located close to where we live because I'd be here a lot!!! Definitely recommend it!!! Our waitress was wonderful (I wish I got her name) and got our order correct which is a big deal because people usually never get our order correct. This is a wonderful place!

  • Mark D.

Horrible place! Food not of quality. The grits came from someplace else. Do not order! The portions were small for the price! The spinish in my omelette was not fresh. The waiter was not exactly friendly. We asked the TV closed captions to be turned on because we are deaf and rely on captioning. The answer was a firm NO. Whoa! And then when I paid the bill with a 100 dollar bill- they tried to cheat us out of a ten dollar bill in change. This was not cool. Do not come here. Go somewhere else.

Great selection of omelets. Servers were very efficient and the food was great. Nice atmosphere and we didn't feel rushed. We'll be back!

Wonderful service, a huge menu and fantastic food. Add all of that to the extremely reasonable prices and it is easy to see why it is such a popular place. Highly recommended! They also gladly honored the Yelp discount.

  • John H.

Great family place. The menu was very comprehensive - even had 44 omelettes to choose from. We had a couple types of omelettes, pancakes, and cream chip beef (aka SOS) - all delicious! We were also pleased with the prompt, friendly service!

  • Kelly A.

This is your standard breakfast spot. I had the peanut butter Belgian waffle with Reese's. It was delicious! I was worried it would be too sweet/rich but I was just right. Our server was very friendly and efficient. I recommend this spot if you're vacationing in Myrtle Beach and are looking for a breakfast spot!

  • Jessica L.

Food was great and the prices are even better!! We had such a sweet server and it was her second day. They had wifi which I desperately needed while away on vacation. bc I needed to do some work and where we were staying we didn't have internet. They honored the 20% off Yelp check in coupon even though I couldn't get my app to work at that time. Highly recommend!! I had the country club omelette with egg whites and 2 pancakes and it was yummo!

    (5)
  • Amanda B.

Good food and reasonable prices. Unlike some other reviewers' experiences, they DID honor the 20% Yelp check - in discount and also gave us a 10% coupon for our next visit. This is a safe bet if you're looking for late breakfast / brunch.

    (4)
  • Marvin B.

Very good food and service. However they do not honor the 20 % yelp checkin discount without it being printed. Instead they will only give you 10%.

What a great find. Wonderful service and so much food on the menu it was hard to choose. But the sausage gravy may have been some of the best I have ever eaten.

This place was ok. We came after a long night of hanging out (they're open 24 hours but the IHOP down the street wasn't...weird city). They had a big group of fellow partiers on the other side of the room. They looked like they'd had a very fun night as well, still laughing joking, oh and talking VERY loudly...I didn't mind it though- after all, I'm there at 4:00 in the morning, too! What I did mind is that we had to deal with the smoke. When we told the waitress we'd like to sit in the non-smoking she said there wasn't much she could do. Hmmmm...not what I wanted to hear after being in a smokey bar all evening. The food was pretty good but took a while to come out. The atmosphere was that of a cafe for lumberjacks. All-in-all I would eat there during the middle of the night when nothing else was open but if IHOP was open it would be over...

I was in the mood for a good beach pancake house. What I found was very average. The coffee was weak or diluted. The pancakes were good but not great. Average food at an average price. Waitress and staff were very friendly. They mentioned that they were getting ready to change their menu. I got the impression they know it is time to try something different.
