Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I highly recommend "The Office" if you're in Myrtle Beach. Stephanie and Gina (both work there) are friendly, funny and very efficient! The food was out of this world good, the beer was cold and the prices are very reasonable. Don't miss this hidden gem! Stop in say hello to them.

Not impressed. At all. We showed up at noon on a Sunday. There were two other people in the restaurant but we just wanted to grab something quick before heading back home. The bartender took 10 minutes to approach us. Then my husband asked for a coffee (which was on the menu) and she made a big deal out of it. We then ordered our entrees and my spaghetti was super small for $15. She also completely forgot my salad and then brought it out after my entrée. Finally, it took forever to get our tab. She was too busy talking to a friend of hers at the bar. She finally dropped off our tab and then went outside with her friend? Smoke break? But was gone 15 minutes and left us and the other couple just sitting in a restaurant without a server or bartender.

OK been 10 yes s since last visit..and will be another 10. Ordered pizza to go ..not sure why it was soggy at pickup since I'm a mile down the road. Stingy on pepperoni and think it was provolone and not mozzarella. Going back up the road to Corrados.

Service was great, child size food plates were huge. I ordered the chicken coloreno(sp) while the description on the menu sounded great, it was swimming in oil and grease. It is one item they should take off the menu and then destroy the recipe. The others in my group had the Philly and the calazone. They both reported that their food was tasty, but not sure we will tell anyone to seek the place out.

Came all the way from Chicago to find this little place. I ordered a meatball parm sandwich which was good. Meatballs tasted like they had Italian seasoning in them. YOU DONT PUT oregano in meatballs people. Just saying. But not bad for a southern bar named the Italian Office. Lol

We picked up carry out for 5 from here and to be honest when I walked in I thought I was in the wrong place...looked like a dive bar. That said the bartender was very nice, food was ready on time and when we got back all the orders were correct and the food was fair. a good basic Italian restaurant. Would not go back.

I had the chicken parm and my husband had the lasagna. We started off with the calamari. The service was great and the bartender was very friendly. We were expecting it to be busy due to black bike week but we were the only ones in there. The food was just as excellent as their service and I would definitely go back there again. They also have a nice choice of beers.

Just happened by this place today coming into Myrtle Beach before we checked into our hotel. Service was friendly and helpful. Portions were huge. We had pizza, wings, chicken parmisagna sandwich and meatball parmisagna sandwich. All were very tasty and well worth the value. Yelp helped us find this place and it didn't disappoint. Great local place for Italian food. Gamecock owners so even better.

A very welcoming little Italian sports bar that sees a lot of locals as regular customers...which is usually a good sign of quality and fun. The staff is very friendly and efficient...drinks are well made and strong....the food is surprisingly good with an emphasis on american italian type foods...definately a step up over traditional pub grub. Great anytime place..but tends to get a fun late night crowd from the service industry.. Kitchen is open till 1:00 a.m. !!

Was here recently for the USC vs Auburn game (big USC hangout). The calamari was fair, could have been fried a minute longer cause some of the breading was soggy. They brought out 2 free pizza's for the crowd which went fast but they were just average.
