My wife and I decided to try the melting pot after a day spent zooming up and down the beach on a scooter. We were terribly underdressed in shorts and polo shirts, but the hostess assured us that it was fine. Our waiter was extremely friendly, he chatted with us a lot. I really felt like he was a good friend by the time we left. The food was absolutely amazing, fillet mignon w/ shrimp and chicken. You better be starving if you plan on visiting. I was stuffed about midway through the main course, but I couldn't stop, I wish I had more room in my stomach. Dessert was amazing! The best way to describe it is, I wanted to throw up, just so I could eat more. In the end, the bill was just over $100 for the two of us. I wish I could afford to eat here more often.

A little pricey, yes. But a great experience for a family. Reminds me of when I was young and my mother would pull out her fondue pot and our family would do cheese and bread or meat in peanut oil. Here you can do both. Lots of choices. Great service. Once or twice a year is a treat.

Totally overpriced, but sometimes worth it.... Definitely for a special occasion... my sis and brother in law came to visit me in Myrtle and we happened to be one of only a few people in and so the waiter took very good care of us. Then the manager came over and gave us a discount for my brother-in-law being in the military, which I always find very respectable of a place to do!!! Anyways they got the big night out, and I ordered my own $20 entree (which was clearly enough for me - after I of course shared the cheese fondue with them as a starter). I LOVED that you cooked your own stuff. The only thing that is bad is if you end up not liking the fondue, your stuck with it! I dont think this happens often, but be sure to know what kind of base product you would like... at first I thought it was weird we would basically be cooking our own stuff, but it definitely but an awesome twist on things (and when i ended up going with my own man back in Reno NV, it was very romantic!). At the end of the meal, you get their dessert which was FABULOUS. pieces of bananas, strawberries, rice krispy treats, marshmallows, brownie, etc. dipped into whatever chocolate fondue you would like... Definitely is pricey which is why we can't go there a lot... but I think it is worth it for sure, if nothing else to just try it for the different atmosphere!

Awesome experience. Our waiter was awesome and helped us get acclimated to the fondue experience. The banana's Fosters dessert fondue was ridonculous - so so good, especially the rice krispy treat dipped in it - wooo. We went for our anniversary and got to go to the lunch service - smaller portions and smaller price tag. My wife and I both loved it. It takes about an hour or so for your meal, but hey - go here to celebrate, not stuff your face. With that said, you definitely leave satisfied. Don't listen to the haters, if you want to experience something different, go here and enjoy the time with your wife.

Visited for a special occasion and had the corner booth near the bar which was nice and private. It was a cool experience, the waiter made the meal for us. The food was very very fresh and everything was very tasty. If it wasent for the price we would come here more often, for now its just special occasions.
