The best Thai on the Grand Strand! My husband and I go every week. Ask for Tommy to wait on you. He can help you decide on a dish based on your preferences. I love this place and all of the food is consistent. I get the same thing over again and it is always great. I love the fresh rolls too. My husband has had a lot of different menu items and they are all great. You can usually get seated right away and prices are affordable. What else can I say?

I haven't had Thai food for a long time so decided to try this place out when I saw it on Yelp. I had pineapple fried rice, Tom Yum Goong, and Pad Prik King and have to admit that this was one of the best Thai restaurants. I was surprised at how good the fried rice was compared to other Asian restaurants. Pineapples & cashews were a perfect match, and the beef was cooked just right. The only thing I would say not so good was the overcooked shrimp. If you love Asian food, you should definitely try this place out! p.s. I was wondering why two Thai restaurants sit right next to each other...

Great, beautiful presentation! Must try Thai Tea! Had the Pad See-Ew (Pad See-lew in menu) and it had a very rich flavor full of vegetables like I like it. Waitress was great too! Very friendly and talked to us like we mattered to her. We will be back.

This was my first time in MB with my girls. We were starving so they convinced me to try Thai food for the first time. I am open to anything and they are experts at eating Thai. The resturant kind of looks like a hole in the wall, but it is very nice and clean inside. Our waiter was very attentive and super funny. Our food came out at a good rate and was delicious. We ordered a little bit of everything and was not disappointed. As a newbie, I was told to order the chicken satay and the green curry. It was delicious. My friends ordered the spring rolls, drunken noodle, basil snapper, and some type of soup. All delicious!

I absolutely love Thai food, so I was worried when I saw the outside of the place. I was very pleasantly surprised. The Crab Rangoon and Pad Thai were some of the best I've ever had. The service was top notch and it was very clean. Def recommend!!

Dined here this evening with my wife and son. Our son's first experience with Thai food. EVERYTHING was fresh, delicious and layered with complex flavors. I told my son to remember this dining experience, as this was as good as Thai food gets. I loved the look on his face when he tasted his first Thai iced tea. Sweet, creamy and in a big, tall, 22oz glass. All food was served in large portions for VERY reasonable prices. Soups for appetizer were amazing. The coconut shrimp and coconut chicken soups were to die for. We shared Chicken Pad Thai, Green Curry with Shrimp, and the Swimming Angel. All three dishes were fresh, colorful, well presented and absolutely delicious. Service was efficient, well timed, gracious and helpful. We were asked multiple times if everything was to our liking. They even offered a to-go cup to my wife so that she could finish her fresh lemonade on the road. Top notch in every aspect. Now I need to hide the leftovers so my son will not get up in the middle of the night to finish them off. Just an hour after leaving the restaurant and he is asking if we can go back tomorrow for lunch.

Amazing Thai food at excellent value! The flavors are incredible and the menu is plentiful, especially for vegetarians like myself. I highly recommend the garlic tofu!

Very disappointed. When I go to a Thai restaurant, I expect the food to be spicy. I even asked about the spice level and the waitress said mild should be good. In most places mild would still have a decent kick. My wife and I got married in Thailand. Everything over there is spicy. Our drunken noodles were not remotely spicy. Not even a hint. The Thai cuisine fried rice was good, my children enjoyed that. SOOO disappointed though. Are they afraid a tourist is going to sue them or something? Pretty ridiculous.

Solid four star experience again...I had the red curry again and it was great! My sister had Pad Thai with shrimp and a friend had shrimp fried rice and both were pleased with their meal. This hole in the wall spot didn't disappoint during our vacation...I'll be back!
My wife and I frequent this establishment on a regular basis and the food certainly is the best Thai food in Myrtle Beach. In fact, on occasion, we also order takeout. I highly recommend this restaurant to others.

Very good food, great prices, beautiful food, excellent service and clean. I'm Asian and I took my white North Carolina boyfriend here with his mom. This was my first time here but we are all familiar with thai food and pad thai. We got the spring roll as a starter, about $5 for 4. The presentation was gorgeous and unexpected. They were sliced diagonally, making it easier to share. Out of three people who wants to steal the last piece? My boyfriend got the squid pad thai and I got the beef pad thai. He said the squid was cooked well. It was not rubbery or overcooked. My dish was flavorful although I'm used to more peanuts in pad thai, but they had crushed peanuts and chili on the side. We had the perfect amount of food, Enough to make you a little more than full and the food did not make me feel heavy. I also got the thai iced tea, its beautiful. It's in a tall glass with ice and milk on top. Also, after I left, I had to turn around and pee xD I'm pretty shy but they were friendly and told me where the restroom was, and my oh my it was so clean. They also have a sign up front that says they have free parking in the back, we went there not knowing for sure if there was parking so I dunno.

I had the pad see ew and gf had the green curry. These are our go-to Thai dishes and Thai Cuisine was a little above average. The rice served with the curry was not really enough. Not quite as good as our favorite Thai joint at home, but a serviceable substitute. Price was on par with most Thai restaurants

Sadly, sadly... I loved the food at this place and put up with the snarky service and long waits for years. But when they served my salad to the wrong table and then tried to re-serve it to me--after the other patrons had poked it with their forks and sampled it--well, I had to end my dysfunctional relationship with this place. I see nearby Black Thai has some great reviews. I think that's where we'll be headed tonight. If you have a hankering for Thai, maybe you should, too.

What do I know about Thai food? Nothing, but this place is delicious and I will come back. I had the Shrimp Pad Thai; it was flavor-packed. Fortunately the server told me the crab was imitation - some people like that stuff..not me.

This is only place that has gotten my red chicken curry right. It's the only food I want to get when someone ask "what do you want to eat."

Our party of five entered Thai Cuisine, where we were pleasantly surprised with a yellow-toned theme design. The atmosphere appeared like a traditional thai/asian cuisine but overall pretty clean. There were 3-4 tables filled, the whole place probably can seat around 100-150 people. There were 2 waitresses, they turned their heads and greeted us and said we can sit anywhere. As far as service goes, that was as good as it got. They were very rushed, direct to the point, lacked etiquette or manner, nor did they give any tones. However, service was just so rushed, and I don't see why because there was only roughly 20-25 customers (including my table of 5) divided between 2 waitresses. It was hard to get a hold of them because they were rushed, and when asking for something like chopsticks, she would just say "yes" with her back turned towards me and continue walking away. For drinks, we had 2 thai ice teas and 2 sweet ice teas. The thai ice teas were mild flavored, but pleasant and served in a nice tall glass. For a place that's not nearly full to their capacity, food sure took a long time. We probably waited about 45mins for our entrees, we skipped appetizers because we just wanted something quick and go. We ordered a chicken Larb, beef Larb, Chicken pad see ew, beef drunken noodle, and ginger fillet of flounder. The flounder was quite the let-down. For $13.95, I would have liked more than just about 8-10 thin quarter-to-silver dollar size pieces (and when I say thin, they were very thin, more breading than fish). They were buried under a heap of veggies (snowpeas, carrots, babycorn, etc.). The sauce was okay, not too flavorful but not too terrible. The cup of rice was a bit dry, and kind of old towards the bottom. Both the Pad See Eaw and Drunken noodles were not made with wide noodles, but more of hu tieu noodles (if you know what those are), which kind of threw off the taste. Overall, I was quite disappointed given the 4-star average review. I would not go here again, and would not recommend it.

As a MB local, this is my favorite Thai place, and the only one I go to. It's an affordable hole-in-the-wall that is never slammed so the service is always fast and great. Food is excellent. Best duck on the beach. Their Pad Thai is a staple, everything is good. The staff is kind and attentive, and the parking in the back is great in the summer.

A fabulous find. I have never tried Thai food before trying Thai Cuisine and I can't wait to go back for more. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated and the food in sensational. Each bite of my pad Thai (sp?) was full of flavor and spices. The menu had a wide selection and many vegetarian options, which is always a plus considering I don't eat meat.

My sisters and I stopped in for dinner and it was so delicious. I had the larb with chicken. It was good but I enjoyed my sisters meals more. We loved it so much we went back the next day for lunch with our parents. The Thai rolls and chicken wings were delicious, the yellow curry was great. The soup that came with the lunch entrees were pretty good too. In all everything was great and the staff was friendly.
Green curry and tom yum were good. Pad Thai and drunken noodle were average.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken with veggies. Loved the sauce but seemed to have too little veggies. The pad thai was okay also and the tom yum soup was a bit too salty.

Food is very good. Especially the red curry. The server needs to be more attentive though. She never came by to see if everything was okay. When I was done eating it took her 10 mins to get a check.

Very fresh veggie appetizer with sweet and spicy peanut sauce . Looks like veggie condoms......lol We liked the thai iced tea. I found the rest of the food to be overly salty and a bit greasy - I ordered a shrimp and veggie entre. My son did love it but my daughter and her friends went to Black Thai and it sounded like their food was much better.

This is place looks like a hole-in-the-wall..but that's just the way I like it. the space was small...the food was yummy. There were 3 thai ladies in the kitchen cooking. I had the massaman curry with tofu. I am vegetarian and they do not make their curry with fish sauce. I just wished it had more veggies in it. Their spring rolls was delicious. I will definitely visit again.

My family of 4 visited this place because we were craving Pad Thai. Their food was fantastic. Their service? Not on par with their prices. We didn't know their portion sizes, so to start off, we ordered 2 full entrees between the 4 of us. When we placed our order, the waitress rolled her eyes at us and said oook. After we received our yummy food, not even one time did they come ask us if the food was alright. A half hour into our meal, we called the waitress over 3 times to place an order for more food and she completely ignored us. We finally ordered again...just because my dad enjoyed the food so much. Like I said, food was great, but they have a long ways to go in terms of service. I would have given a 5 instead of a 4 if they had done a better job. I recommend going here for take out, but definitely not for a dine in meal.

When Bodo's German Restaurant didn't work out the next day for lunch (closed on Sunday), we came back here... again, brilliant food! The squid salad is perfection!! We took the leftover home for breakfast the next day. Four of six meals during our vacation were eaten here! We pickup up chicken pad thai on the way to the airport. I have never been happier!

Great Thai... Local place...everything was fresh and tasty. Everyone at the table liked what they ordered. Noticed police and Asians in restaurant... This is usually a good sign that restaurant is clean and serves good food. We were not disappointed would defiantly return again. Note this is not a fancy place and the exterior s not very nice. Inside is a pleasant surprise.

Such yummy food! Which was hidden by icky looking outside :/ The inside was clean and cute though. My family and I stopped in for a quick lunch and the food was very good. My peanut chicken dish was absolutely delicious! And everyone else enjoyed their meal too. Lunch specials come with soup and an eggroll, both great too! Would definitely come back!!!

I'm a huge thai food fan and got the tofu drunken noodles (pad kee mao). The veggies were fresh and delicious, the tofu was cooked perfectly, but the noodles themselves were not the wide/flat rice noodles that I love, and the sauce was definitely missing something (but it was spicey! ++!!). The service was good, and the location a bit shady. Worth going, but if I'm in myrtle beach looking for thai food again, I'd go out of my way to try someplace different.

I decided to take a trip out of Washington. In my travels to South Carolina, my english became much better, so expect not so much "cave" speak. Anyway, i go to this place. I hear alot of good things. I ordered spring rolls and Pad Se Ew. Spring rolls were good! Cant really mess those up. Now, the Pad Se Ew. Ew is one word i would use. This was super bland. Bland enough that i had to actually put soy sauce on it!!!! And these were NOT wide rice noodles. Ugh... These people need to go to my home in Washington and taste AWESOME thai food. I wont say "authentic" cause it is Washington, however, we have KILLER thai food. For South Carolina, i guess this is good stuff, but from where i come from, this is garbage. Thankfully this was only a visit and shortly i am headed back to the woods where i belong, away from bland thai food.

My friends raved about this place that they visited in October of last year. We went back this evening and the food was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. We may go again tomorrow night. I'm not a Thai connoisseur but the Panang curry was divine. Everything we ordered we would get again.

We mistook this restaurant for the one next door, which is now called Thai Lao. The food at this restaurant was terrible. This is the first time I have ever had a meal in a Thai restaurant that was tasteless and boring. I have had good Thai food and mediocre Thai food, but never before tasteless Thai food. . Don't waste your time or money.

We were visiting Myrtle Beach from out of town and was craving some Thai food and a place to eat for our son's birthday. Decided on this place after reading 4 stars rating on Yelp. BIG MISTAKE! As husband was feeding the parking meter, I arrived into the place with my 3.5yr old and found two waitress sitting towards the back with no eagerness to get up and seat us. I asked do we just sit anywhere and they nodded and said yes and asked how many. I said we need two highchairs and 2 adults so that's 4. Immediately sensed attitude...I guess b/c of the prospect of two small toddlers?? Husband cames in a few mins later with the birthday boy and we got down to opening our menus during which one of the waitress comes by and goes "This is it? This is your party of 4?" Umm, yeah there's four of us sitting right and didn't I already mentioned 2 highchairs and 2 adults? Sigh. We ordered a Thai iced tea (a bit watered down but served in a huge glass), fried chicken wings (pretty good but then how can you mess up a simple fried dish like this), shrimp pad Thai (bit too salty and tamarind tasty for my palate but ok), the seafood stirfry (ok) and the flounder filet with spicy basil sauce (bland and oily). I asked for the spice tray, got an eyeroll and chuckles from amongst the waitresses...When you speak in your native tongue and then laugh amongst yourselves after a patron requests something, they know you're talking about them. The infamous flounder dish - when we ordered this we asked how much an entire flounder was since we knew that $13.99 was only for filet pieces. Waitress seemed like she couldn't be bothered with questions during this experience. She spoke Thai to the other waitress and told us a whole flounder was the same price $13.99 and we were like wow what a steal! Maybe it's their last flounder and they want to get rid of it. So we went ahead and ordered a whole flounder. She basically ignored our two boys btw - not even asking if they needed anything to drink. I get it, my folks are in the restaurant business so we choose non-fancy restaurants to go, keep our boys occupied with iphones/tablets/stickers etc if necessary and we will leave if they get too loud. Well, the birthday boy started acting up and my husband digs around for his iphone to give to him. This lasted for perhaps 1.5min and we got nasty stares from a table across the restaurant who by the way was in the process of paying their check. Wow, I've never been to such an anti-kid restaurant before (so DEF NOT GOOD FOR KIDS!). Back to the flounder dish - so our "flounder" came out but it was a red snapper! Waitress argues with us that that's what we had ordered - a whole fish. We said we asked a few times and told her we wanted a whole flounder. She wouldn't budge until my husband directly told her he cannot eat red snappers. So off she goes back into the kitchen (most likely to spit in our flounder filets! [they don't do whole flounders at all]). We had brought a cake in with a candle hoping to sing and cut the cake at the restaurant but the cake stayed in the bag, we had tons of leftovers but didn't bring anything back to the hotel (even though there was a fridge and microwave) and couldn't get out of there soon enough. My husband and I had to just laugh about our experience. We love Thai food, have always had a great experience in Thai restaurants with the friendliest, warmest Thai servers but this place was truly awful. I should've just trusted my intuition and walked right back out when I first sensed the attitude.

Love this little hidden gem! I almost always get the Yellow Chicken Curry or the Chicken Fried Rice. Both are to die for! Full of flavor, fresh, and both on their lunch special menu. For $6.75 you get rice, a bowl of curry, a spring roll and some soup. Can't beat it. Their Tom Ka Kai soup is my favorite by far. The service...eh...but I'm not eating their service, now am I? :)

If I had a choice of "0" stars, I will give Thai Cuisine "0" stars. Not sure about the food, but the service made us leave without eating. The woman who greeted us was very rude, it was 9:18 when we got there, and she told us (very rudely) tht we should have come to eat early as their kitchen closes at 10:00. When we said, how are we supposed to know, she points out to the door and says, its written on the door, where as she was greeting other who came after us. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will never ever come back.

Wonderful food. Very reasonable lunch prices (note: lunch prices do not apply to weekends or holidays). We go here every time I visit myrtle beach. Love the ginger chicken and the panang curry is the best we've had. 4 instead of 5 only because the water is terrible.. every time.. we have resorted to bringing our own bottled water.

Solid Thai restaurant! Their place is a little small and a older place but the deal they give you is great! We spent only $50 for sodas, soup, chicken appetizers, a duck entree and Pad Thai. That's a lot of food. And it was all good. They do not have a parking lot. But there is metered parking around. With the deal they give you on the meal no reason to complain...unless you don't have some change. Considering how many crap restaurants there are here. This one is worth finding!

Nice to experience authentic thai food while on vacay. The thai style papaya was good and pad thai was good. But the beef basil stir fry was not the greatest. Bell pepper was chewy not crunchy. My friends enjoyed it. And the service was good.

Excellent Thai food! Generous portions! The Tom Ka Gai is the best I have had in a long time. The Tod mun pla is excellent! Make sure you eat it with the cucumber sauce. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The Thai Iced teas was also very good and served in a proper sized glass! Would return!

I've been eating here for three years now and it has been remarkably consistent. The lunch special is great. I love the soup and spring roll, the portion is just right for a lunch and it is nice and cheap. I usually get one of the curries, but sometimes get the chicken with the peanut sauce. I like everything I've had there. One small qualm is that the lady who waitressed there for a long time was fantastic. The dude who is the lunchtime waiter now is not as sharp as she was. That's not a huge knock, just a minor one. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone for lunch or dinner, but I think lunch is where it really shines.

My family of 10 arrived, my sister asked the very skinny waitress (for description purpose only) for a high chair and she pointed at the corner for us to get one ourselves. We then ordered drinks and apps, wings, rolls, fish cakes were good other than that the following entrees/apps were a gigantic mishaps - take a chance somewhere else: 1. Fried whole red snapper was the size of my sisters hand, old and dried and we were told it was pretty big for $20.95 but of course, that was not the case at all.. 2. Pad thai was bland, not very tasty 3. Yum Nurr was a sauté beef dish, not anything like a grilled slice beef salad at all 4. Shrimp cakes, well you can skip that altogether 5. Duck was similar to the red snapper, fried, dried and old probably at least 2 weeks if not more Our check came out including taxes/tips - $160+ Go somewhere else!!!!

I'm from Maryland and I've eaten Thai all over the very ethnically diverse DC Maryland and Northern VA area. I also had a wonderful co-worker from Thailand for 10 years who owned a Thai market for many years and I would bring in things from my garden to give to her and she would take them home and come back the next day with amazing home cooked Thai dishes for lunch. Enough babble- I know good & bad Thai food. This place is great - this particular Saturday night the two servers caught our party of four at the door and welcomed us to our seats. That simple gesture of welcoming someone as it were their home makes a great overture, yet I am consistently underwhelmed by the number of establishments that haven't grasped this simple tenet. The staff was helpful in ordering, offering their opinions, and did not rush us as we ordered appetizers (Fresh Rolls, Fried Dumplings, Tom Yum soup). The rolls were great - not with the typical brown dipping sauce accompanying Thai style 'summer', 'garden' or 'fresh' rolls as these vegetarian rice paper wrapped (non -fried) rolls are often called. Instead it was the Nam Pla based dipping sauce but equally good. The fried dumplings (not sure of the name of the item - my fellow diners ordered these) were great. The other diners commented on how these were reminiscent of Indian Samosas. Agreed! The Tom Yum was good as far as this soup goes. The attentive, yet patient staff then took our entrée orders of Panang (red curry) Beef, Pad See Ew and Shrimp Fried Rice. The servers kindly asked whether we wanted the curry mild, medium, or spicy. The main dishes were very good and this opinion was shared by all four diners . I should note that 1) we ate communally and sampled all of the dishes and 2) we are all four self professed foodies and experts (who isn't -right?). To a person we all thought the food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Portion sizes were perfect and we had some to take home. As an experienced Thai diner will tell you - always inquire and if necessary, order an extra rice with curry, as the standard cup is never adequate in proportion to the amount of curry. We were too full to try desert. Next time. The two servers were over the top nice. I'd go out of my way to have a meal here again. Outstanding.

We used to go there often, but just resently went there, and had to wait for over an hour to get the food we ordered, probably won't ever go back!!!

Really nice food .. We are vegetarian and they served us based on our need .. Service is good too ...

Based on the review from Stephanie M, the wife and I headed over to Thai Cuisine on Friday, May 6th between 9 and 9:30pm. We were prepared for the questionable appearance from the outside. It really was a nice atmosphere inside but what I wasn't prepared for was my view into the kitchen... I'll come back to that at the end. The food was excellent. We started with spring rolls and fresh wraps as appetizers. The spring rolls were hot and crispy while the fresh wraps were cold and fresh. A perfect contrast to the 12oz can of sprite that was served prior. I had to laugh. After receiving our drinks and getting an excellent view of the kitchen (still coming) we decided to order only one entrée and share it. We ordered some sort of Curried Chicken dish #62 I think. It came in perfect time and was excellent. So... all in all.... the food was a 4 and could be a 5 star if presentation had been even a little bit important. Now the kitchen. From our table, we could look directly into the kitchen and it was a cluttered jumble of mess! Not necessarily dirty, just a clutter of pots, pans, food sitting out and the fridge.... o' the fridge..... the same one you'd find in a brand new home built in the early 80's. :( . My wife and I had to switch seats because I was so disturbed by what I was seeing. I'm a big fan of Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, so I should have known better than to judge by sight. All in all, the young server (probably13 or 14), the elder server (twenty something) and the old lady cook pulled it off and I'd probably go back again. Just don't look in the kitchen.

Green curry and tom yum were good. Pad Thai and drunken noodle were average.
(3)elaine l.
Ordered sweet and sour chicken with veggies. Loved the sauce but seemed to have too little veggies. The pad thai was okay also and the tom yum soup was a bit too salty.
(3)Christopher M.
Food is very good. Especially the red curry. The server needs to be more attentive though. She never came by to see if everything was okay. When I was done eating it took her 10 mins to get a check.
(4)Shari S.

Who knew good Thai food in South Carolina!Would have received 4 stars in NYC for SC it gets a 5.Soup was on the money!
(5)Liza M.

(5)Lenora B.

Lunch Vegi Delight has a great sauce. I love this little treasure in Myrtle Beach. I recommend everyone try it there is something on the menu for everyone. Including vegetarians like me.
(5)Hanna L.
Nice place. It was discovered by one of my coworkers and I have been going there for at least 3 years. I never had a bad meal there. We ordered take out from there as well
(4)Jojo G.
food is just ok. i think they gonna move to another place. the restaurant looks pretty old. since there is not that many asian restuant in myrtle beach, this could be a choice. but at most 3 stars for their food/
(3)Hannah C.
(4)Tanya J.

My wife and I ate here last night and the service and the food were excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Thai food.

(5)Sandy C.

I should've just trusted my intuition and walked right back out when I first sensed the attitude.

this place looks very nice on the inside but i was upset that they don't accept coupons from the Yelp app. i was told it was expired from last year
(2)Carissa M.
(5)Sapana M.

(4)Greg L.
(4)Hrishikesh H.
Red and green curries were rich and delicious. The tum-yum soup was good. Pad Thai was better than average but I feld there was something lacking
(4)Amy S.
Nice to experience authentic thai food while on vacay. The thai style papaya was good and pad thai was good. But the beef basil stir fry was not the greatest. Bell pepper was chewy not crunchy. My friends enjoyed it. And the service was good.
(3)John M.
My wife and I ate here for lunch. The pricing and offerings for lunch were good. The quality was fine also. Unfortunately we just didn't have anything that just made us say "wow".
(3)JoAnn H.
Awesome food and awesome prices! Love, Love, Love the Thai Chicken Fried Rice. Don't forget to ask for a spice tray! You know...it's always those hole in the wall places that serve up the best grub!
(5)Greg P.
(4)Dave S.
(4)J C.
Excellent value! Good quality fresh food. Super clean inside, dont be fooled by ugly exterior. Staff was friendly. Overall, great quick lunch!
