This place was a pleasant surprise! Like many who have reviewed, we went in thinking this was Texas Roadhouse, and once we found out it was not we were a little apprehensive. When I started checking Yelp and saw the bad reviews I was even more worried, but our group of 8 decided to stick it out. Let me tell you honestly, we were glad that we did. The service was fast, and the food was even better. They bring out bread that is really good, served with cinnamon butter. I had the mild wings with celery and blue cheese, and everything was great. My BIL had the ribeye sandwich, and it was the class of everyone's meal - it was so good (he let us all help him finish because it was so big). My sis had chicken fingers which were freshly battered and tasted like actual fried chicken. The kids has kids meals that were reasonable, and we were happy to see that steak was on the kids menu. Over all we were very happy with our meal and experience.

Just ok, can only speak of appetizers and service. Friendly staff. Steak quesadilla lopsided and overdone, potato skins too crisp. I would be careful about anything else. Convenience not always way to go.

It was OK. Disappointed that it wasn't the real Texas Roadhouse. Service was fine. The pork bbq was the driest I've ever had. Would not recommend for the price.

Literally one of the worst dining experiences I ever had. It sucks.

First of all, even though it looks the same, this is Texas Roadhouse Grill and not Texas Roadhouse. Prices are a little higher and not the same menu - was looking for a normal item I always order at the "real" Texas Roadhouse - but overall, not bad. Steaks/prime rib were tasty and cooked to order. The side were definitely nothing to mention - green beans seemed soaked in vinegar and just didn't taste right. Service was good. Not sure I would go back though - just ok.

Poor preparation of 1/2 chicken breast. Flavor OK but underside of chicken breast unable to penetrate with teeth or knife. Was as hard as a surf board. Looks like it was pre-prepared the day before and just heated for the lunch this day. Manager offered a new one, I declined, thinking,"How did it leave the kitchen with the chef's approval to begin with?" Top quality and care, pride of one's skills should have been on that first plate." Uncaring cooking methods was the vibe I walked away with. That was my last visit for chicken breast.

DO NOT GO HERE. My fiancée and u stopped in for a meal. They had bar specials on the board at entrance. Specials said at bar only. We wanted to sit at bar but there were no seats. We asked for drink specials but we're told we would have to pay regular price. We said, there are no chairs left at the bar, which the mgr. Said he knew that, but rules were rules. Never in my life have I've encountered anything like this. The mgr said if he bent the rules for me he would have to bend for everyone else. There was no one within 40 feet of us. I have a call into the owner Mr Nance. I will change this review if I get a satisfactory answer from him. It's apparent at this point his mgr is a puppet not a mgr. Because no mgr would let customers who are going to spend between 60-100.00 walk out like we did. Mr Nance prove me wrong and make it right.

The staff was very nice and it looked pretty clean. The food however not that good. We are locals and I can tell u I'm not looking forward to going back.

Went there for lunch yesterday and the food was excellent as was the service! The chili was great and had a lot of flavor and just a slight amount of zip . We ordered an app sampler that was tasty and had good flavor while the fried portion was not your greasy mushy fare you find in other similar establishments . I highlt reccomend it.

THIS IS NOT A TEXAS ROADHOUSE!!!!!!!!!! The steak is awful and tough, the sides are store bought, canned and generic. Hard pass on this place. Frauds!

I enjoyed this meal. Generous portions that tasted great! I started with a cup of Texas chili - it was perfectly flavored. Our party had the flat iron pork steak which was juicy and tender, the ribs were fall off the bone meaty, chicken tenders (not overlooked) and the Teriakiand the chicken sandwich with bacon very tasty! The sides were good, and our service very attentive. Dinner for 5 was $106 with tip I have read some of the Yelp reviews from a year or so ago, TRG has obviously made improvements and I recommend this place.

The place was very noisy. The waitress was great. The food was sub pare. Don't sit upstairs if you don't like climbing stairs.

This is a grill not a regular Texas Roadhouse. The food is not the same and the prices are higher.

We had a party of 15, so I called ahead of time and spoke with Kayla (sp). She was pleasant and when we arrived had our table ready within 10 min. Of our arrival and the place was packed. Our server was friendly and kept of well with everyone the entire time, he did not screw up our order as I thought he would because it was so many of us. Our food was very good and fulfilling. Everything was cooked exactly how we asked for it and there were many requests and the food was brought to us without even being asked who had what. I ordered the filet mignon and shrimp with a house salad and a sweet potato. We ordered a cactus flower (onion blossom) and cheese fries for appetizers. I loved the cactus flower, yummy. Overall, everything was great.

Food was served quick and hot. Cooked correctly and very tasty. Portion was plentiful, and the service was excellent. We were seated shortly after arriving and waitress took our drink order in less than a few minutes.

I went here with my husband, and was greeted by friendly staff. We were brought to a table without peanuts by the bucket on it. I asked the waitress where the peanuts were and she said they were not affiliated with the Texas Roadhouse, they are the Texas Roadhouse Grill, independently owned. It was quite confusing, as the lettering and, the exterior is similar, as well as the rustic interior. I was not used to this. I don't think in my former home in NY, this type of plagiarism is legal, however I know this is South Carolina, and many things and laws are different here. We ordered salads and a loaf of bread with honey butter was brought to the table. The loaf reminded me of white Wonder Bread, just not good. My sweet tea was fine. Our ribs arrived at the table, and they were over-coated with barbecue sauce like I've never seen. I picked up my fork and took a taste of some loose meat, my husband said, let me know how it tastes. The fork went into my mouth and I could feel the skin on my face wrinkle to a prune. In my entire life, I have never tasted such an awful sauce. To me, it tasted like they picked up every barbecue sauce brand in the market, poured it into a pail and stir, then lop it on the ribs as they left the kitchen. I was trying to untwist my face, but I had difficulty. My husband said, bad, huh? I nodded in agreement. We told the waitress that we would not eat those. She asked if there was something else I would prefer and I replied, I no longer have an appetite. She said she'd go talk to the manager and left us there. She flitted about and even took an order from some diners behind me, and did not address us. How long were we supposed to stay? Was a manager or the waitress going to say something to us? Well, no one did, so we up and left. I promise you, I will not be going back if it were the last barbecue restaurant in South Carolina. I think this place is a sham and a fraud. My previous review of this restaurant, was my mix up with the addresses.

The main reason this only received 1 star is because this restaurant is a knock off of the real Texas Roadhouse. Almost everything is the same (name, logo, décor, menu) as the real Texas Roadhouse except for the peanuts, quality of food, and rolls. My boyfriend and I thought we were going to the real Texas Roadhouse. He ordered the ribs and steak. The ribs were dry and drenched in barbeque sauce. The steak was decent. I ordered the filet mignon and shrimp. I received a cut of sirloin instead of filet and the fried shrimp were not seasoned or battered properly. Overall the food was disappointing especially compared to the quality of food at the real Texas Roadhouse. I will never eat here again.

came in with a party of 12 at around 10 pm on a wednesday night, we were welcomed here. the waitress was GREAT the food was GREAT and the manager even came over to see how it was. best service and food in the area, our family has agreed that we had the most fun (throwing peanuts) and the best meals there! also we had a horrible week down on vacation, it was nice to forget about it for an hour! managers: compliment your staff, they rule!
