I went to this restaurant for breakfast one morning and im still not sure whether i like it or not.... The service was ok not that amazing or really that friendly. The food was decent but still not something special.... I ordered the french toast with strawberries and whipped cream. I was upset that they didnt use fresh strawberries but i got some kind of pie filling strawberry thing dumped all over my toast. It was too sweet for my liking. Overall my experience was not that great and i probably wont be returning...

Not good at all. The decor is like an old lady nightmare. Fake plants everywhere. Random radio station with crappy music played for the whole restaurant to hear. Ordered an omelet and asked for added spinach; they added canned spinach. I got a $9 omelette with canned mushrooms and spinach, not good but I ate it. The waitress was not happy to be there at all. Over priced (location) and really runner-down looking, inside and out!

Maybe it's me, but I feel the hidden dives have the better service and food. This place was one of those places to me. Loved the birds when you first entered, I'm a huge animal lover so that made a great first impression for me. Loved Julio . The atmosphere was definitely old Greek style and we loved it. The service was very polite. The food we got was wonderful and very generous portions. I got the broccoli omelette and it was amazing!!!!! Will definitely return.

I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could. The coffee was decent; the sausages were flavorful if a bit dry; the french toast was good, but reminded me of the kind I used to make myself as a kid. Nothing special- just wonder bread dipped in eggs and sprinkled with cinnamon. My friend's pancakes, however, were delicious, and her mom loved her western omelette. The price is super cheap, and the service is lightning fast. I'd come back if I was staying in the area again.

A decent place for breakfast on the beach. The pancakes are very tasty and the eggs were done just like I like them. Good coffee, and they leave the pot. The dining room is open and airy, with an attractive balcony filled with plants adding interest. Our waitress was extremely friendly and the service was efficient. There are two parrots in the entry vestibule that squawk constantly; they are annoying when the door is propped open. Prices are reasonable -- 3 egg / 3 pancake / bacon breakfast special $8.

This place has a great, old school, family atmosphere with a friendly staff. The perfect place to recharge after a long night out. I highly recommend the Belgian waffle. definitely eating here every time I'm in Myrtle Beach.

Great atmosphere, super fast service, good portions and excellent food at great prices. Coffee is best I've ever had and is specially ground. Heavenly. This is a hidden gem in my opinion. Easy to find across street from beach and enough seating to turn tables quickly. Must go!

One of the first things we noticed when we arrived in Myrtle Beach was the plethora of Pancake Houses. So when we went out for breakfast we naturally decided to try one. This one was one of the first ones we found driving away from our resort (read Hotel). After reading a few decent reviews we agree this place is a 3 star spot. I wasn't overly excited with my food. The best way to explain our experience was "We could have made this ourselves in our room" Nothing was Bad but nothing was so super duper that I will be talking about it for years to come. It was just breakfast, the thing they are supposed to be known for, the pancakes were no more special than if I had made them from a box at home. The decor was not my thing, it seems who ever designed/owned it really had a thing for birds mainly parrots. You walk in and are greeted by 2 in the foyer, that to me seemed a little out of place, but maybe that is just me. All in all we tried this place 1 cause it was close to our hotel, 2 cause it was a local spot, and 3 cause of the decent reviews. Bottom Line: I don't think that this place should be passed up if you are close, but just keep in mind that you will just be paying for someone to cook and serve you. There was nothing spectacular about this place. I don't think I would go back, I would seek out better. You have been warned.

Do not get the eggs benedict..tasted like old outdated hollandaise sauce. The bacon was good and pancakea were decent.

We went here twice for breakfast this week on vacation. It's just kind of a diner atmosphere and diner type of breakfast. Both meals were good. One day was pancakes and bacon. Next time was eggs and bacon. Bacon is crisp. Fiancé loved the grits. Everyone was happy. Waitresses were nice. Second one was a bit slow. First was on the spot. As mentioned there are two birds in the lobby.. but that is in the first set of doors. Not near your food. And one talks to you! I wouldn't hesitate to go back at all.

Fantastic grits! Usually restaurant grits need salt, butter, etc to make them palatable. Not these. Creamy and wonderful! Also had eggs Florentine which rocked. My daughter had their french toast and inhaled it, pronouncing it awesome. Icing on the cake were the two beautiful parrots on the way out!

Went for breakfast and it was overpriced and very low quality. The pancakes tasted bland and the eggs in my omelette were not fluffy or even flavorful. I was truly disappointed and 30$ for two small cruddy breakfasts is way too much. The best part of that place were the two talking birds at the entrance.

This is an excellent alternative for breakfast if you don't want to wait the long local lines for Shoneys or IHOP. Service was super friendly. We had really kind waitress who was attentive and very sweet. Decent French Toast. Sausage links were quite delicious. Overall a good comfortable experience. Fair pricing. Decent diner.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the disgusting odor...and then I noticed the birds. I am NOT a fan of live animals near my food. My 7 year old was excited so we stayed. My omelet was gross and my potatoes were even worse. My kid loved it but I couldn't get over the smell in the restaurant. We could've done better with the free breakfast at our hotel.

Oh I was so disappointed!!! Our hotel told us to walk down a couple blocks while I was waiting for the rest of my family to arrive to grab so e breakfast. I stepped into the diner and was so excited that they had biscuits! So hard to find hem up in Boston I figured it would be great! However it really tasted like a dinner roll shaped like a biscuit. Boo. And my cheese omelet was filled with American cheese so it was super oozy and icky! The waitresses were super sweet but I just couldn't take the food. I definitely recommend going to another diner. But if you can't the coffee and service are really good at least!

We dined here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We chose it because of the close proximity to our hotel. We received prompt service. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and was hot when it reached our table. The food was what we ordered. I can't say there was anything unique about the menu, the food or the service. Nothing went wrong, but there was no part of the experience that would make me go out of my way to return.

The parrots in the lobby were pretty friendly, surprised me out of nowhere when we walked in. Really fast, nice service, especially after being pretty much ignored at the Huddle House the day before. A good all around breakfast and with the special it wound up being pretty good. Just about the perfect three star breakfast diner so I'll say 3.5 stars.

I have found the decor in all the breakfast restaurants down here haven't changed since the 80's. This place is especially weird. Looks like a jungle with fake plants everywhere and Parrots in the hallway. (although they were kinda cool) Food wasn't bad but wasn't all that good either. French Toast was probably the highlight of the meal. Other than the syrup bottle that sits in its own filth stuck to a bowl. I know syrup makes a mess but how hard is it to set it on the table and wipe the table after each meal. There are better places in the area for breakfast.
