After waiting 30 minutes with an empty restaurant and a half empty bar... Our burgers were served with black lettuce and no bacon (after having to repeat the order 3xs to the waitress). This was our second chance giving our local community business support much to our disappointment. No more chances longbeards.

I would not know how the food here tastes because I just sat at a table for 15 minutes without so much as a glance my way. I understand you are busy, but at least acknowledge we are here! I also called to notify the manager but the hostess told me he was too busy to come to the phone. Won't be back.

Three of us Myrtle Beach locals went for lunch at Longbeards for the first time. We found the waitress was so rude and insulting we got up and went to different restaurant. With so many good restaurant choices in this area you would think being nice to customers is in fact a priority. We're Southerners and it's in our nature to be nice to people and we expect no less than the same in return. Even though our office is one mile from Longbeards we will never return Longbeards again.

Great place, food, and service. Odd location makes it a local ace not tourists...I will be back.

The food is pretty good & I was impressed with the variety and the rarities found on the menu. All in all I give the menu & the food 3 stars. Why don't I plug in 2 more stars? The service, the atmosphere & the location. SERVICE: mediocre at best. You'll ask a lot, because the staff is either inexperienced wait staff or they just don't like thinking ahead. And when asked for a second ashtray with a party of 11 during outside we were told: "Sorry, we only have the one! " ATMOSPHERE: Don't go & plan to converse with anyone. The pool tables & other entertainment is mixed in the same room as the dining tables. And patio dining is not a solution, it's the same out there. LOCATION: Don't plan on bar hopping, unless you want to go to the gas station & buy Beer to go. There's nothing around it & could present an uncomfortable situation for single women. Big, dark & quiet parking lot. Quickly put, there's a lot of better options in the area!

What a great find. Hit this place after mountain biking and the food was AMAZING. Had the shrimp and grits. Also partook of gator bites, sliders and shrimp for apps. Local microbrews on tap as well. Atmosphere was relaxing and wait staff was friendly and quick.

Myrtle Beach local. This spot is usually on of our faves. Went there today for lunch. Ordered an appetizer that never came. After an hour wait our sandwich and salads came out. My partner asked for ketchup, they handed him an expired bottle. Should have been my clue. I've been sick all afternoon. Can't say for sure that's the cause. But no other symptoms other than nausea and having to go to the bathroom every two seconds. Sadly I don't think I'll ever go back.

Five stars for theme, decor, and server uniforms. Four stars for the amazing smell of BBQ in the air and the menu variety. Three stars for the food quality. The chicken wings were underdone, the steak salad lacked flavor and veggies, and the steak was cold. The pork BBQ was very good. I would go back to try other items on the menu.

We recently had a date night with terrible dinner. After we went for drinks at Longbeards and were upset we didn't just go there for date night. Now we go once a month for some drinks. Great atmosphere great staff and good drinks. Every time we order food it is hot and fresh and tasty. Definitely check it out. Love it!

Another great meal at Longbeards. Today I ordered the Turkey Melt 1/2 sandwich with salad. The sandwich was delicious - real turkey meat! The 1/2 sandwich was more than enough. Served nice and warm. The salad was not a tiny side salad as I expected, but a decent size. Great lunch. I ordered the chili to go so I would have a decent dinner. I enjoyed the flavor and it was not spicy which for me was even better. Great flavor!

Best wings at beach! Atmosphere on patio is great. Michelle the server is worth asking for. Greek salad was really good. Only a few miles from ocean and a nice change.

Well, it was a good day for a ride on the bike and we decided to try Longbeard's once again. I always get the same thing (chicken) and decided that I can't do that this time. I have to try something different, so I opted for the $5 lunch of a French Dip sandwich with fries. I chose unsweetened ice tea as my beverage. Again I was not disappointed. The sandwich was huge. The sub-roll (?) it was on was soft and fresh. The beef was piled high and had melted cheese on it and the au jus was tasty. I put malt vinegar on my fries, which is a new thing for me. I love it now. I would recommend this place for lunch (Mon-Fri) for their $5 lunch. Today I got to meet Ron the owner. I still want to sit outside on one of those big rocking chairs, but I guess I'll wait until it's a little cooler out. It's really worth the trip to go here.

Great lunch specials and the food is so good. I've eaten there a half dozen times and always had a good meal.

The place was hard to find but worth the search. We called for directions and the owner offered to drive out and meet us! The service was fantastic and the drinks were CHEAP! A large mixed drink special , named after the place was only $5 (would have been $12 at most places). The kids wanted chocolate milk, they didn't have it on the menu but the waiter was able to make it for them in the kitchen. Fried pickles were the best I've had, we ordered seconds. The house club was large enough for two. The grits are also superb. My wife had the fish & chips that were fit for a pub in England. We will be back.

Excellent all around! We had the wild sliders as an appetizer which consisted of elk, buffalo and turkey. Delicious! I had a large Greek salad which was spot on. My wife had the shrimp and grits and they were delicious. The sweet potato fries were to die for. When we asked how they were made the waitress said they were deep fried then drizzled with honey and cinnamon. My daughter had the meatloaf and she said it was salty. It had bacon wrapped around it. All in all a great place at a reasonable price. I recommend it.

Had the best sweet potatoes, ever. My husband loves the Greek salad. We have eaten here many times, and will keep going back.

Atmosphere was great, service friendly, food delicious and varied all at a moderate price. Definitely would return.

We really wanted to like this place. Non smoking. Great friendly atmosphere. Nice bar. Excellent ambiance - nicer than any pub type restaurant in the area. We went on a Thursday evening. Not crowded or noisy. Had appetizers - fries smothered with chili (served cold). Pork wings (overpriced for the portion dried out and luke warm). Chicken wings (good, but not crispy or warm enough). If It was a busy night maybe i'd understand. This place has tremendous potential. Its beautiful with a hunting atmosphere and very clean. However they need a chef that can help build their business, not drag it down. The owner Ronnie came around and checked on us often; which was much appreciated. But when he asked us how the food was - he wasn't opened to constructive criticism.

It's like eating in a hunting club, great energy and food.

Had my first elk burger and wow is it tasty. Simply dressed with cheddar, LTO. The fresh cut fries are great and the green beans are delicious. Looks like a fun bar - next time. Great staff and the owner came by to say hello. Our waiter recommended quail and grits, which will be eaten on my next trip as well.
