The BEST location in Myrtle Beach!!! Have a great drink right on the beach! The 'loaded Landsharks' are the best! You will definitely re-create this at home. Food is certainly good, but unremarkable. Definitely stop by Margaritaville at Broadway-at-the-Beach for more amazing food; especially the Nachos!

What an amazing atmosphere! The menu is limited for food choices and may be overpriced but it's worth the amazing view and music!! Had a great time trying all of the fun Landshark and jimmy Buffett themed drinks- a parrotheads paradise! Had fun in the gift shop finding some cute t-shirts as well :) would definitely go back!!

We went here on a rainy day to try their food and drinks. I got the hot dog and my husband got the burger. He enjoyed the burger! The hot dog was decent. I had a Bahama Mama and that was delicious. The staff was nice. At the time it was not crowded.

I've visited the Landshark in Atlantic City multiple times and this location has the same great atmosphere. I would suggest trying to get a table on the deck overlooking the ocean. My food was good but I really wasn't impressed by my drink. The pretzel sticks as an appetizer were amazing. Parking is a little difficult in the area and it's expensive so it might be better to park a few blocks away and walk. I would definitely visit again.

All I have to say is garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage this food is for pheasants disgusting garbage I would not feed this to my enemy stay clear away if you want to eat if you want to have a drink be my guess but this food is car Garbage I got a burger Burger was horrible says it's fresh but it's frozen came well done when I ordered medium then when the new one came it was fairly medium well they can't make a medium burger because it's frozen and pre-cooked again very much so garbage stay clear stay away to not eat here The patio is cramped really tiny one TV with nothing on

So many places in this tourist area are overpriced and terrible food. I was so happy to pay the prices and get good food. My teenagers didn't complain once!! Not a huge selection but in a way that's good. What they have, they do it right. My cocktail was delicious and the waitstaff was very friendly. Sit outside, view was beautiful.

Giving this place 5 stars not so much for the food, but the atmosphere and drinks. It's just a good spot to chill. I would definitely recommend the "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere". O-M-G!

    (5)
  • Dria M.

It was average. My frozen strawberry 'Rita was delicious, and so were the pretzels we had for an app. My caprese chix panini was not up to par. The chicken was so tough I couldn't bite through it and there was no balsamic on it I had to ask for it on the side. My boyfriend ate every bite of his shrimp basket so that's a good sign. Pretty pricey tho-

Awesome atmosphere! Great food. And the BEST waitress on the planet! I would go back just to hang with Karol again! She rocks.

  • Bill M.

Good food and cold beer but a little expensive. Avoid because prices are just as high in dead of winter as is tourist season. Should care more about locals. We are her all year long.

My partner and I are always on the hunt for yummy places to eat in Myrtle Beach. It can be quite difficult to find awesome places here BUT we really enjoyed the pub style food here. It was fast and simple but still really delicious! The service was great although he seemed very busy. Would go here again!

1 star is a generous gesture for how miserable our experience was this evening. We went in at about 8:30pm to have a few drinks and dinner. Our waitress Deborah was zero help and miserable. Any request or concern we had she felt bothered and flustered. One of the orders should have had blue cheese. She forgot, by the time she went back and got it our whole party was done eating. We asked our own waitress to put the hockey game on and she impolitely told us to go ask the bartender it's not her responsibility. Bartender was no help either, finally the 4th person we asked was able to help. The wait was 45 mins while there was about 15 tables visibly open. Maybe due to understaffed or under qualified employees how were bothered all night. Where we were sitting someone left a packet of training material for new staff including meal info, drink info. The waitress had a fit bc she assumed we were reading it, maybe she shouldn't have left it on the table. The prices were high comparatively to the area. 20oz draft land shark was 5.50 and a simple burger was 13.00. Not really possible to have a meal and a beer for less then 20 bucks. I'm writing this review from a cold bitter state. I usually don't write the day of visits but I felt this review couldn't get out quick enough to warn people to stay away. Very disappointed in my visit and will never be back. Stay clear go visit Moe Moons across the way

If this review were based solely on food it would have 3 stars, but the drinks, service and atmosphere definitely bump it up. Karol was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. Energetic, enthusiastic, and recommended some great stuff. The drink menu was more extensive than the food menu, but let's be honest, that's what we came for. It's an open air environment right on the beach so it was a little humid, but enough fans and cool drinks for you to not notice. We had the Landshark on draft, the Landshark/ margarita drink, and another margarita. All were delicious and one came with a free koozie. We each had burgers to eat, one regular and one mushroom Swiss veggie burger. Both were good, a little greasy and I've had better, but did the trick. Fries and the pickle were the best part of the meal. If you're looking for a dining experience this might not be it, but if you'd like a nice atmosphere with good drinks this is your place.

First impression was a sour faced rude hostess named Sarah. We made a game of watching her rudeness to everyone she seated. The establishment should be embarrassed to have her as the front person. Menu was quite limited and fairly pricey. Our waitress was nice and efficient. Daniella. Food was pretty good. Not a place to go for food. Drinks and appetizers is their thing.

    (2)
  • Rebecca H.

Lori was great and food was great. She kept the cold drinks coming and recommended the tater tots and cheese sauce, yum! Would recommend and would go back! Right next to the Sky wheel and on the boardwalk.

  • Ron G.

Awesome food, great atmosphere right on the ocean. We had burgers and our daughter had the little shark shrimp. All very good and our server was very good too!

    (5)
  • Danny L.

We were seated 20 minutes after we arrived. After sitting at out table for 25 minutes we had to ask a server for drinks and to place our order. Our food took another 20 minutes to arrive. Philly cheese sandwich tasted like it was frozen then heated up in the oven, Cesar salad was ok, mushroom swiss burger average, cheese dog was good and black and blue burger was average. I would not return here.

    (2)
  • Danielle A.

The food is delicious and we had excellent service (Ask for Charlie!) This was our first time eating here and we were quite impressed.

  • Bud B.

Save your money and buy a Landshark beer somewhere else. The decor, music and atmosphere is awesome, HOWEVER, food and drinks are wwaaaayyyyyy overpriced. $11.00 cheeseburger, kids hotdog $7.00, Landshark draft beer 14 oz in a plastic 12 oz cup(yup) not filled up all the way $$$5.00!!!!!! That's $5.00 for a 10-11 oz of warm beer! Also the staff there is not very friendly. Jimmy would be embarrassed I'm sure. Simple walk to The Bowery draft beer in a Cold Mug $2.75 AND friendly people!

My friend and I came to Myrtle Beach for couple days and we ended up at this place which is awesome. The food is great, yummy drinks and very good service. I will recommend the fish tacos .. Delicious !!!! Shawn at the bar is the best ...

  • Robert G.

Not bad, a great location, food is better than average tourist trap restaurant. Serve is spotty we have experienced " wonderful and so so" never horrible.

    (3)
  • Mike D.

You should pretty much expect to pay a little more here for the location and atmosphere. Peel and eat shrimp were delicious, staff was friendly, and the views are spectacular. I would recommend this place to everyone. Must try the pretzels!

    (4)
  • Jamie B.

Love this place! Me and my husband came for an early lunch. I got the Caprese Chicken Panini... LOVED IT! My husband got the fish tacos with blackened tilapia..its was also very, very good!! There was a small crowd, so service was perfect!! We will definitely be back!!

    (5)
  • Melissa V.

We went here twice because I was really wanting a salad and I enjoyed the first one so much we went back a second time. My husband got a bacon cheeseburger and we split a bottled water.

    (5)
  • Nicole P.

We only really went because it was under the SkyWheel. Menu was limited and busboys were unprofessional. They were taking out trash and ran into my boyfriends chair twice. Bacon cheese burger was average but fries were pretty good. The panini was bland but the onion rings were great. Food was a little expensive to be serving drinks in styrofoam cups.

    (3)
  • Lola A.

Stopped by when I was visiting Myrtle Beach. Although the atmosphere and location are good, the food was overpriced, the wait was long and the food wasn't worth the wait. Worse - I got food poisoning from the Philly Cheese Steak I ordered. Will not be coming back even if I visit Myrtle Beach again.

  • Dave P.

Went here last time we were in Myrtle and it's quite a drive from Cherry Grove especially with summer traffic. It was worth going, we had a great time but parking was an absolute nightmare. Nothing against this place but I'd say this was my first and only time, there are tons of other spots that have great happy hours and are much less touristy.

    (5)
  • Jim J.

Stopped in to get out of the cold and talk my wife out of boarding the big Ferris wheel next door. Limited menu, more of a drinking place. Desiree is a fun and pleasant server. Tator tots were satisfactory. The view of the ocean is optimal.

    (3)
  • Nancy E.

They don't let you leave no stars - so here goes! Walked in right at nine and sat at the bar - was promptly and not friendly told that the kitchen had already closed. Bartender was so very unfriendly that we got up and left and went to Mod Moons where the bartender was actually happy to see us,and we had GREAT drinks and service!!!!!!

    (1)
  • Kristie N.

Seriously? A bar that's based off my favorite beer, heck yes! The beer was delicious, but ragtime drink with the cucumber vodka is where it's at. And the fish tacos.. Delicious, grilled not fried with a bucket of chips.. I wish I could stay here forever.

    (5)
  • Mike C.

Service was so slow! It took 25 minutes just to get drinks. After we waited 25 min for the drinks the door took a additional hour and we only had burgers! Will never eat here again!

    (1)
  • Mark D.

Great food. Reasonable prices and selections. There is not a lot to select on the menu but you get good food no matter what you get. The LandShark beer is to die for. Great light lager. Almost better than Corona beer so you won't be disappointed. The location is cool. And the waiter was just excellent. Some guy who just moved from Tennessee and had a wonderful, polite and helpful personality. Cheers!!

    (4)
  • Amelia R.

My boyfriend and I wanted to eat on the boardwalk, and this is pretty much the only option for a regular restaurant. The meal tasted good, and the sweet tea was excellent. It lacks the 4th and 5th star because I could barely make it to the bathroom fast enough after my meal, and was sick for the rest of the night.

    (3)
  • Keri O.

Service: mediocre Food: mediocre. Tilapia was so fishy that my daughter who LOVES fish & eats sushi like it's candy couldn't finish her fish tacos. Drinks: lukewarm beer & $8 virgin strawberry daiquiri. I get we're at the beach & prices are higher but $50 for fish tacos, a Caesar salad & 2 drinks is crazy!

    (2)
  • Dave W.

Food was avg bar food. Not good for prices. You would think they would get into the 2010+ food offerings. Bleck. Never again

    (1)
  • Upstate Y.

I got the philly cheese steak which was really good but the cost is pretty expensive for what your getting. Lunch shouldn't cost my family $75 after a tip. Landshark was great. Service was not the greatest. Our waitress was actually a little abrupt and rude after someone in our party changed their order right after ordering he said he promised it wouldn't be a "problem" again and the waitress stated, "I doubt that". Pretty unprofessional. I had to bite my tongue not to say something back to her.

    (3)
  • Andrea A.

Had a great lunch! To put it simply, we were seated fast, our food was great, our drinks were cold and my boys say the fries were the best on earth...wow, that's some feat!

    (4)
  • William K.

Well we wish we could tell u how good the food was or how cold the beer was. We got seated with our daughter 14 months old. It was a very hot day. Our menus were handed to us and the hostess left. We waited and waited and wAited to get served. After 15 min and watching everyone around us that came in after get served we left without anything we came in for. And twice as thirsty as when we entered. Terrible. Esp with a child in that heat.

My husband and I had an early dinner here while on vacation. It was clean, had a friendly staff and great atmosphere. Food was great - especially the spicy queso. Cons - parking was pretty bad, we couldn't find a private lot so we had to pay and walk (which wasn't terrible) When we arrived the line for the hostess desk(which was oddly located in the middle of the restaurant passed the bar) was pretty long. My husband waited in line and I grabbed drinks from the bar. We were seated shortly after that, but I guess it confused the waitress that we already had drinks because one never came until we flagged one down. After that it was great. Overall it was great experience and we would come back next time in Myrtle. Just go in with a little patience for dinner

  • Bbishkoff ..

We had great spinach and artichoke dip along with some really creative and tasty drinks. The service was spot on and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

    (5)
  • Ed A.

Food was good, service a bit slow...not the waitress....the kitchen. Princes were a bit high...2 fish tacos and fries almost $17! Gimme a break! Your typical beach food and the high prices that go along with it. Go further inland for better prices and higher quality of food.

    (2)
  • Keith S.

Went here for lunch; this is a classic beach front bar, so had to have the "experience". The service was fast although I really wanted to sit outside, it was 70 degrees and sunny. I was expecting OK food but was really pleased with their blackened tilapia sandwich. Came out of the kitchen hot and fresh. Absolutely best blackened fish sandwich ever. I'm going to have to come back during high season and enjoy this again.

The food was good, nothing spectacular. The view was nice. Our server was pleasant but seemed a little distracted.

    (4)
  • Kayla S.

I LOVE Landshark! The service was awesome, I loved our waitress and she even made a custom drink for me. The prices were good, the food was good, the view was perfect even though it was cold and windy out it was nice sitting near the water.

I discovered this gem located at the bottom of the SkyWheel in Myrtle Beach. While I could really could care less about Jimmy Buffet, his restuarants at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and on the strip in Las Vegas are great, relaxed atmospheres. In Las Vegas, its my favorite restaurant to visit, and I had my 31st birthday party with 13 friends at the Mohegan Sun location. I was already looking forward to the Margaritaville restaurant at Broadway at the Beach, but I had no idea he had TWO restaurants in Myrtle Beach. I was so excited haha! I had a couple of concoctions which were just awesome. But the key to this bar is the location and the view. While sitting at the bar, you have a direct view of the beach and the ocean. Normally, I find this is reserved for hit-and-miss bars at beaches throughout the country; but having the quality of Jimmy Buffett's restaurants on the beach of his tourist destination makes for a great one-two punch.

    (4)
  • Stan S.

This place is part of the Greater Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville Empire and as such has a bit of the chain establishment feel to it. The staff is super friendly, as in, WAY too friendly to the point of being annoying (at least my server was). My fries came out cold (they did replace them) and my Landshark Cheeseburger was not from paradise, but it was ok. Its not a terrible place, but in eating out, if your looking for more than a chain food experience, I'd keep looking.

Went here with the family (10 of us I think) back in August as we didn't really have anywhere else to go for food, and we were pleasantly surprised with everything. Initially, the service was lacking and a bit rude, but our server was nice, albeit kind of scarce throughout the evening (again, it's August in Myrtle Beach. It's going to be busy, and these people aren't super heroes). Food wasn't bad. Not anything special, but nobody disliked their dinner and we all left satisfied. Plus, sat outside with the nice breeze off the ocean, I'd say it was a pretty nice night. Would probably go back if we were there again.

    (4)
  • Jean S.

Meh. It was okay. Decent service, decent food. Nothing outstanding, but given the limited choices in that area for great food, it wasn't so bad. It's in the middle of a lot of attractions, including the Skywheel, and was quite busy so the food was a little slow in coming and the server seemed a bit overwhelmed. The prices were a little high for burgers and fries, but it's expected in a touristy area.

    (3)
  • Joe B.

WOW!! This was the surprise of our Myrtle visit! we were out walking around and all getting hungry. This place is right on the beach underneath the Skywheel so I, so I said let's go. Even though it was pretty busy, we were seated right away. We sat in the inner section which is still open to the beach. There are tables that are outside and right on the beach as well. Our waitress came over took our drink order and made her recommendations for the food. She was a sweetheart and hit the mark with her suggestions. I asked about the Cuban sandwich and she gave it a thumbs up. So that's what I went with. My wife and my son had the fish tacos which were blackened tilapia, baja sauce and some other toppings. My Cuban hit the mark!! Done properly with the right ingredients, and you have success!! The fish tacos which I tasted were equally good. Nicely done Landshark. Beers were cold service great and food tasty. Top it all off, we are basically sitting on the beach!!! Can't ask for more than that!

    (5)
  • Bill H.

great view NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! BE WARNED Waitress wouldn't give a time estimate for seating (Took about 40 minutes) Food ok but, prices based on location on strip not quality. NY Pizza very good alternative close by near the arcade.

Food was decent but the amount of time that it took to get the food was horrible. We were there visiting on a Sunday night and the restaurant was not that crowded. It took about an hour to get our food and the waitress did not bother to even acknowledge that the amount of time that the food took was long. We were in a party of 11 but that should not be a problem for the food service. We had 5 kids with us and all the adults food came out and 3 of the kids 5 meals came out. We were informed that there was more coming but it was a good 10 minutes before the additional 2 kids meals came out. How long should it take to put some chicken fingers and some fries on a plate? Again nothing was said about the fact that everyone at the table had their food but the kids. Luckily one of the two kids that did not get their food was asleep and the other was able to share with one of the other kids at the table. Too bad about this experience b/c we love Margaritaville and make it one of our must visit places when we come to Myrtle.

    (2)
  • Mary T.

Came here for lunch and waited 20 minutes just for our drinks, (2 beers, a wine and water) the waiter didn't come back to get our order for another 10 minutes. We ordered fried food and sandwiches and it took 40 minutes for our food to come out. I will never come back. I don't recommend it to anyone if you want a good meal and drink at the beach. Save your money.

  • Craig K.

It's OK. The Fam and I ate here during vacation in July 2013. We wanted to enjoy the boardwalk and all it has to offer. The food was OK, nothing spectacular. The prices are a bit high (see $3 sodas) and the service was shotty. I would eat here again but probably in the bar area. Some alcohol may help me forget what I dislike about the place and enjoy the openness and atmosphere of this restaurant.

    (3)
  • Danielle M.

This restaurant is great. It's right on the water, so you have a nice view of the beach even when it is rainy and windy. The service is awesome too. The servers are friendly and upbeat. The manager came by and asked how everything was, and were very eager to please. The drinks are great. I highly recommend the mudslide (I think that was what it was called, it has cookies in it) with vanilla rum in it. So awesome. It's not in the alcohol section, we had to ask for vanilla rum in it, but definitely worth it. The burgers were great, I asked for super bloody rare burger, and I got it, and it was awesome. The food is right on for the price point and portions. I wish the menu had some more on it, but honestly even for a small menu it is awesome. Plus it's right next to the skywheel and that is a nice plus to see if you choose to sit outside. Overall if you are looking for somewhere to eat, go here. It's great! :)

    (5)
  • S C.

line outside and empty tables everywhere. So we go into the bar and have an interaction with the worst bartender ever, Monet. Super nasty and had me walking for the door before I even got my beer. Horribly run spot that stays open due to location alone.

    (1)
  • Ainne M.

This place has great views of the atlantic. Food portions are big, and personally I think a bit overpriced for quality. I had the philly which was big enough for two and tasted pretty good. Waitress was really nice. I think the price pays for the view though. Great place to eat and have a few beers.

    (3)
  • Domenic F.

Nice place in Myrtle Beach. Stopped in with my family while on vacation and this place is directly under the giant Ferris wheel. I had the blackened fish sandwich which was large. Not bad at all thank god! The service was nice and my daughter ate her hot dog. Enjoy!

Beautiful view shark bites are delicious, only problem I had was I asked for a Landshark beer at Landshark Bar and Grill and they didn't have any Landshark lol

    (4)
  • Grant T.

Sorry guys, but stay away. 2 burgers for 25 bucks? most important my wife did not touch her burger after having a small bite, I was hungry and i finished it all "big mistake" 20 minutes later I felt I got poisoned by this food and i was throwing up all evening. Maybe such a food is not for me, but I had burgers before....-)

    (1)
  • Mina H.

Ambiance was nice, service was friendly, server got most of the order by memory... Food was mediocre and over-priced. We ordered the queso and chips appetizer, 2 fish of day sandwiches, and 2 smoothies (tiny kiddie cups at $4.25)... Total of $55 (incl $6 tip). It should have been half the price for the quality. Flavorless. Meh...

    (2)
  • Danielle L.

Ashley H. and Chris Jackson we're our servers. THEY WERE GREAT!!!! They were on top of everything! My husband, daughter (3 yrs), and myself spent the day at the beach yesterday and had lunch at Landshark Bar and Grill and sat on the lower deck outside. We had the sweet thai chilli wings which were crispy and delicious!!! Our daughter woke up from her nap and ate her entire cheeseburger which she says was "really yummy". My husband and I both enjoyed a couple alcoholic beverages (Yuengling and the Incommunicado). The Incommunicado was great!!! We shared the cuban sandwich which was really good. We were very impressed with the service and our entire meal.

    (5)
  • Lexa R.

Too pricey for the menu options. Spent almost $50 for 2 of us on a sandwich, burger and 2 drinks. Our server, Michelle, was great. My fiances burger came out underdone for his liking and she got him another very quickly. She was very apologetic and great overall. I would recommemd going there but I wish they either expanded their menu or lowered the prices just a bit. $13.99 for a chix club and fries is just too much.

Great food joint located right on the beach at the boardwalk area of MB. May seem a bit weird to eat in the shadow (ahem, lights) of the Sky Wheel, but frankly it isn't all that off-putting. The view of the water and the open-air atmosphere more than compensate. They are locate right next to the live music stage, so that's a HUGE plus at dinner time. The food is really good, albiet a bit on the pricy side. Good food....good views....good times ;)

Pleasant staff. Drinks tasted great and were strong. We had the soft pretzel appetizer which was good as well.

  • Elizabeth G.

Great location, with a great view. We chose Landshark based on our previously wonderful experiences with Jimmy Buffet's other franchises. We were seated very quickly an our server was awesome - very nice and quick on the drink refills. The menu is somewhat limited but it got the job done. I got the Landshark cheeseburger, cooked medium and it was came out nicely. My boyfriend got the Cuban sandwich and he really enjoyed it. The openness of the restaurant is great, you really get to see and feel the beach.

    (3)
  • Justin P.

It was OK. Nothing special. Starting to think my expectations for food in myrtle beach are too high.

    (2)
  • Jim L.

Any place that uses cheese whiz instead of actually melting real cheese is just bad. They don't make tea, use Peak instead. Won't be back. Nice view though.

    (2)
  • Lindy S.

Wow, worst bartenders. After waiting several minutes for anyone behind the bar to even acknowledge us, we got our drinks. Then, we proceeded to witness several patrons walk up to the bar, not get acknowledged, wait 10-15 minutes and then walk out. With 3 people behind the bar, you would think this wouldn't happen in the middle of February. Maybe this level of service works when you are flooded with tourists, but Landshark needs to be more attentive so they don't alienate their locals. Well, at least the beer was cold :(

    (1)
  • Denise B.

Went back day after thanksgiving ..what a mess. No servers, dirty dishes piled on tables; peeked into kitchen looked like disaster..had to walk out since no one was acknowledging the line of people to be seated since the hostess was serving. I'm sure it was a fluke but where the hell was the manager??

My girlfriend and I went for dinner, and we only waited for 15 minutes or so. Outside seating was nice, the breeze felt so good and the view of the ocean was relaxing. I ordered the oysters, which were so fresh and tasty that I ordered two dozen of them. My girlfriend ordered the chicken tender basket, which was surprisingly delightful. The breading was light and the pieces were filled with juicy chicken. Our waitress was nice, but a bit slow. It took her 10 minutes bring us water after we asked. I think each waiter/waitress had to manage a large area so it's difficult for them to manage. Overall, a decent place to eat. Prices were reasonable, and the food quality was above par. Service could be better.

    (4)
  • Sara H.

LandShark is a great place for a cold beer or a fruity cocktail when you are out on the boardwalk in Myrtle Beach! The service here is super friendly especially if you sit at the bar the bartenders will tell you everything you need to know about the boardwalk and the adjacent SkyWheel! There is nothing better than to sit on the terrace, sip a LandShark cocktail and enjoy the sound of the ocean. If that is what you are looking for, this is the place to do it. Only recommendation is proper expectations on food--this is a hamburger and fries kind of place. Stick to the basics on the menu and you will be happy. Oh, and it gets crowded at lunch and dinner hours.

    (3)
  • Mike G.

Cant get much more of a beach atmosphere than this Thats why u came to MB in the first place, right? Staff was super. Burger was really good.

  • Mike M.

Pretty much what everyone else said. Food is good, for a chain. Have you been to Margarittaville? Same deal here. Server was great, order came out quickly and correct and he cheerfully fulfilled my many requests (3 kids .... They always need something else). I would go 4 stars for consistency BUT the saltine crackers we got with the grilled oysters were stale and the tortilla chips I got with the fish tacos were also stale .. Could be because of the beach environment and humidity.

We stumbled on this fantastic place last weekend on a trip to Myrtle Beach. We have been vacationers at Myrtle Beach for the last 30+ years, and this place has become one of our instant favorites. Jeff was a tremendous server and kept our drinks and food coming, as well as seeming to genuinely appreciate our business. Lex, the Chef, even came out to make sure our food was prepared just the way we liked it. All in all a great time and I look forward to visiting Landshark again for many years to come!!!!!!

Great view of the ocean and super spot to people watch. Friendly bar staff. The food was hit (chili dog, yum) and miss but you can't beat the location on the boardwalk. If you're watching your wallet stick to beer and avoid the fun mixed drinks though they have some tasty ones!

My wife and I are in Myrtle Beach celebrating our first year anniversary. She, being a "Parrothead":, I thought I'd surprise her with a visit to one of Jimmy Buffets restaurants in MB, and so here is Landshark on the beach. So we got a table rather fast (this is off season afterall), but the table needed to be wiped off (sticky). Our server for the evening, Desiree, was nice and friendly, kept our drinks filled and got our orders right. (Two big things I demand of the wait staff). She gets high marks from me and my wife. If you decided to chance a visit to Landshark, definitely try to sit at one of her tables. She really goes the distance to make sure you are happy. But let's talk about the food. Whomever the cook was last night, they should be keelhauled. We started with char grilled oysters on the half shell. Somebody needs to clean the oysters more, I got a nice combination of oyster, cheese and sand. It wasn't too bad, except the price. My wife tried the spinachartichoke dip. It was good.... pretty much the same quality as you would find at Applebees or TGIFridays. The drinks were good.... soda for me, margarita for her. We even got her a little shark coozy for her drink... lol. On to the main course of our meal. She got the fish tacos, I got the standard landshark burger. This is where I get really annoyed at the "Chef". The bun for the burger was large, and stale! How can any quality cook send out a burger THAT stale? I am embarrassed for ''em. The fish Tacos were slightly better. Nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not fresh fish... I just wonder if it was Gortons or another frozen line of food they used. The fish tacos came on a bed of chips. Two fish tacos in tortilla chips. This is NOT a high class joint, yet prices are high-c;ass joint wannabes. This is a burger joint..... maybe a better classification is a sports bar. Flat screen tv's dot the wall all over the place. You definitely get that sports var feel with a tv set every 30 feet or so. All in all I give this place 2 stars. The highlight of the evening was Desiree, the margarita and the exit sign, all in that order! Is it wrong to have different expectations for a place that is owned by Jimmy Buffet? Instead, I could have had better food if I went to TGIFridays

During a recent visit to Myrtle beach, my family decided to have dinner at LandShark Bar and Grill, The food was fair, the prices seemed a little high, the portions were on the small side. The service was horrible. My husbands meal did not come out untill everyone else in the party was almost done, When it did come out it came out at 2 times first his sandwich then his fries, which tells me it was never ordered. The waitress passed us several times before we could get her attention to rectify this. At that time she spilled a tray of soda's on one of our guests coke down the back of her white and shorts and not a little soda a very large glasses of soda from the tray, and I am not exagerating when i say it was a whole tray of drinks. Then to add insult to injury we were charge 18% tip because we had 12 people at our table even thought the checks were 4 people max. My husband and I only had 2 meals on our check, I am ususally a very good tipper 20% at minimum for good service and I felt that giving this waitress 18% for bad service was unfair my husband ate his meal after every one had finished and thats not even mentioning to the Soda on our guests clothes. I would have left a tip for this waitress, but i would not have given her 18%, and felt that i should not have been forced to give a decent tip to a poor waitress based on the fact that our family wanted to sit togeether. . I would not recommend this restuarant

The blackened talapia fish tacos are killer delicious with a Landshark tequila chaser...best meal I had all week. The view cannot be beat! Jimmy Buffet in the background tops it all off perfectly. Our waiter Chris Jackson was awesome! Great sense of humor balanced with great service.

Stopped here today for lunch w/my daughter. Our waitress Lindsay was receptive to our needs and very friendly.Because I'm on a fixed income, I thought it was a little pricey, but I enjoyed a Caprese chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was great and altough I'm not big on French fries, I at a few and they were okay. I enjoyed sitting out on the lower deck on one of the most gorgeous days of my vacation. Our bill ran about $30 without tip. I'd eat there again and will the ext time I'm down south.

  • Brian M.

Very good food, great music and a great view of the ocean. The only problem was the 50 minute wait on a Monday night at 8pm.

    (4)
  • Chris C.

Had drinks and a fruit bowl. Margaritas were good - it's a Buffett owned place so they should be, right? The fruit was basically fruit cocktail. I came for a good margarita on the beach, and it delivered. The waitress....gosh I was supposed to remember her name but can't now - probably the ample supply of tequila in the drink - she was nice and helpful. Can't comment on the food. There was some chick across the way from me that had on really short shorts. That was nice. But the credit doesn't go to LandShark for that....just the girl. So, whoever you were, thanks!

This place is just okay, nothing spectacular. Our waitress could have certainly been better. We went down to check out the new boardwalk and ended up here. The food was so-so. In my opinion, there are many other better options in the area.

    (3)
  • Bruce H.

Nice bar and cold beer but can't say anything else. Food was over priced, and when I found out the catch of the day was talapia, we decided to leave. We are sitting 50 feet from the ocean and they serve farm raised crap. Could not believe it. Said something to the waitress and was told it was a corporate decision and easier to control than buying fresh local. Damn support the local folks. Will probably never go back and will probably write off all Buffet restaurants if that is the case.

    (1)
  • Heather M.

Would not come back. Service was slow and I would hate to see the wait if the place was busy. Food wasn't great for the price, pretzel sticks are a safe bet if you need a snack.

    (2)
  • Karl L.

Tater tots with chipotle ketchup were the saving grace of this place. Burgers were bland, beer in plastic cups that were unnecessary, and the view we had of the beach was partially blocked by a bunch of other people. It wasn't bad, but it sure wasn't good.

    (3)
  • Nisa D.

Its definitely one of the best restaurants around the boardwalk. Service was nice and food was good :)

Great location on the beach for drinks and apps with nice decor. Perfect after riding the skywheel.

  • Jamz S.

Came around lunchtime on a cloudless, 75 degree day. The restaurant is beachfront so we opted to sit on the deck, to take full advantage of the sun and the ocean view. Ordered the land shark lager, which was decently priced and of average quality. For our entrees we ordered the Black and Bleu burger, which was to perfection, and a Caesar salad that was also very good. Fries were OK, service was OK, but prices were too high.

  • L P.

Stopped here for lunch and was hoping we'd get a similar Margaritaville experience, however, that is not the case. It's a location you can't beat, right on the beach. The Staff is friendly and cheerful, but the food is average and definitely overpriced for the quality, quantity, or variety. We had the wings, foot long hot dog and onion rings. Nothing particularly came close to what I'd expect Jimmy Buffet would be proud of. I can only think they are going for the tourist who want to say they have eaten at Landshark.

Good lunch place. Fish tacos were delish.

  • Autumn O.

I wish I didn't have to give this place any stars. This was the worst place that we ate the whole week we were there. It took over an hour for a hamburger and a salad...keep in mind that the hamburger looked like it was just a frozen patty. The service was terrible too. After we ask our waiter was took so long he didn't come back to the table any more but to bring us our bill. The food was not worth the wait and the whole place was over run with flies. I could go on forever about how terrible this place was. If you want to wait over an hour for a frozen hamburger and fright off flies while you eat the go right ahead and waste your time and money. However, I would never ever ever go back again to this so called 'bar and grill'.

  • Rick R.

We had lunch and dinner here during our weekend at the beach. The view and atmosphere is terrific and we had great service from Ashley. The food and drinks are a little pricey but its worth it given the limited beach front options in MB.

    (4)
  • Stephanie L.

My burger was not nearly as good as Margaritaville's. I order the Landshark Burger & it had "special sauce" & there wasn't anything special about it!! It tasted like a Big Mac & didn't have the same price attached to it. It would have been alright if it didn't have the sauce on it. I was hungry so I ate it. The ocean view was awesome! It wasn't worth the money.

    (2)
  • Nick K.

got the chili dog. Nothing special but its better than the other options in the immediate vicinity. The service was good and there is a paid parking lot right next door.

Visited January 2nd, 2012. The house beer was excellent, after that it was down hill fast. Service was horrible. While pleasant enough, the waitress disappeared after bringing our meals. I finally had to practically tackle the manager to get some service. Food was greasy, fries not done, and generally a disappointing experience for all.

    (1)
  • Miranda F.

Food was slow coming out although the place was empty on a Friday night (off season-Oct). Prices are a little high but cheaper than Margaritaville. Great drinks but I wasn't impressed with my Cuban sandwich. It was just okay. My bf enjoyed his peel and eat shrimp. Next time I would probably just go for drinks and the great view of the ocean.

    (3)
  • Lisa B.

Mediocre. It is part of the Margaritaville chain and the food is as one would expect from a chain. Nothing special. The service was good. I got the cheesesteak and it was ok, as was my husband's Cuban.

9/6/15 (Sunday) Lunch for 2 young adults Staff = 5 star Food = 5 star View = 5 star Price = 5 star Waitress was awesome and very laid back. Food was good and arrived prompt. Alcohol specials. Good music. Jimmy Buffet trivia on the TV screens. View was incredible. Very fun and entertaining for all ages.

  • Matthew W.

We thought this place was great, the service was spot on, the food was delicious, the view was outstanding, but the best part was the drinks! They have this one drink called Havana Bananas and it is out of this world. In my opinion if your looking for a beach front bar/grill with good atmosphere then you should check this place out.

    (5)
  • Suzzette M.

Food was just, meh. Not horrible, but certainly nothing to rave about. We had lunch. Shrimp baskets and chicken tender baskets. The amount of food was really good for the price. The drinks and the view are the real winners here! The frozen blended cocktails are so fruity and yummy! Perfect on a hot, sunny day!

Food and service could only be be matched by such a wonderful view. Right on the ocean. Can't think of a better way to enjoy a frosty concoction than feeling the ocean breeze and listening to Buffet.

Went there with my wife during our stay in Myrtle Beach, SC. Wings were good. Tater-tots were good. Generous portion is appreciated. Our server, forgive me I forgot her name, was attentive to us. My beer was cold when served to me. Wife liked her drink as well. Nice that we're able to sit in our seats for a while. We're not hurried to get out so they can sit other people. I like that we've a view of the ocean from where we're sitting.

  • Jessey A.

What you would expect from a restaurant after a lager. The food was wonderful tho, the batter on the fried shrimp was on point. Burger reminded me of a home cooked burger for a family grill out. However, It looses one star for the prices. Food was great! Just felt like it was alittle overpriced... But I didn't feel ripped off! Good food and landshark! The best beach beer (in my opinion!)

  • Desiree G.

We went three times to Landshark and had three different servers. The first time we went we had Franklin. He was very nice, very attentive, seemed to enjoy his job. He made small talk and got us our food, overall a pleasant guy! I had the caesar salad, it was nothing memorable, just a normal salad, still good! The second time we went our waitress seemed to not care for us, probably because we just wanted our free app we got an email for. She seemed mad at us the whole time for being there. We got the tater tots app, which was actually pretty good! The sauce that comes with it was not good, we just used mustard and pepper to dip, which is fine. The third time we went we had Amanda, she was very nice and pleasant. We had one more free app coupon so we used that on the spinach and artichoke dip and then my boyfriend wanted an order of teriyaki wings with ranch dressing. The food comes out and we were not impressed. The wings didn't taste anything like teriyaki and the dip was wayyy to cheesy. Not impressed with most of the food we ordered here, and if it was not for two of our servers being so nice and attentive I would only give this place two stars.

Probably the easiest place in Myrtle Beach to find. Why? It's smack dab next to the giant Ferris wheel. We ventured here in between concerts during the Carolina Country Music Festival next door. The four of us were seated quickly on the patio and greeted promptly by our server. She was really nice and did a good job. I felt bad for her because the table next to us were two really obnoxious drunk guys. I know they probably have to deal with that all the time, but it's still annoying. Since we've basically spent our trip filling our bodies with crap, three of us decided that we needed to be healthy. We ordered chef salads. They arrived as huge bowls loaded with cheese, turkey, and ham. You probably could've made at least four sandwiches out of these guys. Kayleigh went with a grilled fish sandwich. I had total order envy. It's a nice patio during the day to enjoy the beach weather. Evening is really cool as well because of the lights on the Ferris wheel. Landshark is family friendly with a kids menu. They have frozen drinks and the usual beach suspects. Seating is first come, first serve.

Landshark bar and grill is just a good place to grab a great dinner. Eating ocean front outdoors is just a great way to spend a evening. Food was great and service was also.

  • Rachel K.

I really love going to Landshark; the views are great, there is always a nice breeze, and drinks are SO delicious. I always remember, upon getting there, that the menu is so much smaller than I want it to be. I'm an app person, and would love to see some better choices as far as that part of the menu goes. My most recent time I went, I had a grilled fish sandwich and the fillet was HUGE! I'm a big fan of the frozen margaritas, and you can add different flavors to them, so it's always a different taste. Sean the bartender is WONDERFUL! Make a point to get by and chat with him if you're in the downtown area! The prices may seem high, but it's no different than the rest of the spots on the boardwalk. Park a block up for 1/3 of the price of the lot next to the building, and enjoy walking around. Don't forget to ride the skywheel!

You want drinks, food and fast service? Come here! While vacationing in Myrtle Beach, this was a staple dining spot for my girlfriend and I, twice for lunch at the ocean view deck and twice for dinner at the open bar. All time a success in service. Dee and Christie waited on us at the deck & Dean at the bar was fantastic both nights for dinner. (This guy moves at light-speed) Portions are big & hot and drinks are strong & well-priced. Most meals hover around the $10-12 mark, and drinks $10 or less. Never a wrong order or a send-back. They are very attentive with rarely you asking to tend to simple things like refills, condiments or asking if thinks are up to your liking. This a prime spot right on Ocean Blvd, with attractions, shops and of course, the SkyWheel, all within walking distance. If you're on the Grand Strand, head over to Landshark...well worth it!!

  • Melvin G.

Generous portions and very kid friendly. I had the grilled mahi mahi tacos and my wife had the Land Shark burger with bacon. Both were great! Heard about the tater tots and opted for those instead of fries. I made the right choice. Also, their signature drink did not disappoint. My only gripes were the tortilla chips were really Cool Ranch Doritos but the salsa was good. Would definitely visit again.

Came here a few weeks ago with my best friend during our first trip to Myrtle Beach. I'm a Parrot Head and obviously had to pop in for a drink or two :) The service was excellent both times we were there! Our drinks were spectacular and lunch was yummy too. Prices were fair & were expected being in a busy vacation town. We also dropped by the Landshark shop next door to pick up a few souvenirs. Great atmosphere, great outside deck to sip cocktails and watch the action on the beach and a great staff made for a wonderful trip!

  • Dave H.

Good beach food and nice bar atmosphere. This place is in the middle of all the boardwalk entertainment and the bar is a nice place to watch sports in the evening. Cant remember the Barkeeps name but he was very helpful with recommendations and things to do in the area. This is a definite bar stop on the boardwalk.

    (4)
  • Chad M.

Great place; good Cubano. Unfortunately, this place seemed to attract some obnoxious out-of-towners, who complained loudly when they were (rightfully) refused service. If you're looking for a quiet place, look elsewhere. If you're looking for good food and bevs with good music, try here. Sit outside at the bar and catch live music at the stage in the plaza next door.

  • Arielle T.

Very average, basic chain food. Our service was stellar, though! Easy place to stop for a quick bite to eat.

    (3)
  • Kristen B.

We stopped here to get out of the rain and because we were hungry. They do have a fairly small menu and choosing what to eat was difficult because nothing really sounded great. My friend ended up getting a chili dog and I got the fried fish sandwich. My fish sandwich was pretty good and the fries were good as well. I also got a Landshark which is a nice refreshing beer. Service was fairly fast once our server took our order but it took her a while to come to our table initially.

  • Erinn D.

I went here a little over a month ago with my boyfriend and a friend and had so much fun. Our server Ash W was so helpful and patient with us. We really came to just sit, relax, and try a few of their cocktails, and she never once got impatient with us. We ended up hanging out all afternoon. I definitely recommend the fried shrimp and burgers. All did not disappoint. And every drink we got from the drink list was spot on. We definitely will be returning and asking for Ash W when we return!!! Fins up!!!!

  • Hope D.

Great beach atmosphere & the food was good. It's not a high end restaurant but the beach, the ferris wheel, fast service... All make an enjoyable night.

    (5)
  • Kim L.

Large selection of drinks on the menu and nice outdoor seating area with oceanfront views. We weren't able to order food, their exhaust hoods were down, which closed the kitchen. Bartender only one working today.

    (3)
  • Christie Ly G.

Fries were awfuL ---but I'm a little bias. Onion rings were an extra $2 and only six were given in a basket. Great location to sit and watch the beach or main strip/Boardwalk... Could use alittle kitchen/cooK help. Prices were high for quality of foods delivered. Ex: fried shrimp basket (small breaded @10) $15.99 add onion rings or sub tots +$2

    (2)
  • Cierra K.

The turkey burger was flavorful and the beer was good and cold. However, the prices were steep for a simple burger and fries. Definitely sit on the front deck/patio - best view on the Boardwalk!

  • Natalie S.

A very nice chill place. While waiting for the table we got to drink our drink watching the ocean and a live band service was great and was so the food. Would recommend

  • Jessica B.

Our server was Patty, and we would not have asked for a more attentive server! She spoke to our boys and chatted us up, and she was super busy too. Drinks were constantly refilled and she checked back offten. Wonderful service, I need six of her at my restaurant. The food was good, my Sweet tea Rita was amazing. My only complaint, which is more of a suggestion, would be that the menu could offer more cold foods. It was nearly 100° outside, this is an awsome open air restaurant over looking the beach, and a cold wrap would have hit the spot. Just about everything on the menu is fried (they do offer three salads, a chef, Caesar, and a seafood salad) it wouldn't be hard to add tortillas to the menu (or use the ones from the fish tocos and offer mini wraps) and make use of those same ingredients to make wraps. (Good price points too, you use half or less the ingredients for a salad and charge the same price). I for one could have seen myself staying longer and getting a second drink that way.

Came here with family and friends after we took our first time Myrtle friends to the Skywheel. I ordered one of the margaritas with the jalapeno/lime mixture, not bad but a bit sweet for my taste, so I ordered another shot of tequila and problem solved! Our food came out great, friend pickles and wings were what we expected. The staff were amazing when it came to asking about my daughters food allergies, even bringing the chef out to answer questions for us and he also called to make sure one of the items didn't have milk/egg. Turns out it did so we didn't order, we much appreciated that extra effort! Jason was our server and he did an excellent job. I would recommend this place if you are on the boardwalk, walking around, want a nice drink or a quick meal.

  • Hetal P.

It's ok. It's a bar owned or themed after Landshark beer. They have a bunch of your stander beach-type of cocktails, but not anything super special. The service was pleasant, the atmosphere is clean, nicely decorated, and they have a ton of seats and stuff overlooking the beach or out on the back deck. If you want to have a nice cold beer and stare out at the ocean, watch people on the boardwalk, see people in that big park area, whatever, it's a good place. Prices are a bit high for the area, but it's catering to touristy types, so I get it. You want a touristy bar with decent drinks and average food? This is it. I don't mean that in a bad way, sometimes you want just a regular, unpretentious place, with nice servers and regular bar staples. This is one of those places.

Busy spot but great service! Food was good and we enjoyed the location and view of the beach & boardwalk.

    (4)
  • Scott S.

The best thing about this place is the view. I also had a pretty solid waiter. But for a place with the name recognition of Landshark to not have A. Happy Hour or B. A good menu is really disappointing. The menu selections were so uninspiring. Food was decent but I'm disappointed I went here.

Great food, great view.. what more could you want in a beach side bar and grill. We ate the pretzel sticks and then fried shrimp basket. My son and I shared both and still brought food home.

Loved this place for a good drink. Had the 5 o'clock somewhere! We sat on the deck over looking the beach it felt like heaven! Had an appetizer but no meal

Stopped in a few times and had an excellent experience, while sitting in different locations each time. On a busy night it was easier to sit at the bar for two people. Received excellent service and some burgers that hit the spot. Another day stopped in for some drinks after sitting on the beach for a few hours. Again, spot on service and drinks that were made just right for what we were looking for. If you're nearby and can't decided where to go, check it out.

Sat outside near the sky wheel. The condensation from it dropped on our table the whole night, felt very rushed and the food was okay.

    (3)
  • Scott C.

It's all about the atmosphere here. The food was good, I got one of the burgers and it was great. Being oceanfront means you pay more than a mile inland, but it is bout dining in the ocean breeze enjoying a cocktail or beer. Unique place.

After reading mixed reviews on this place, I decided to try it out myself. We went for a Sunday night dinner. It was fairly busy, but the three of us were seated in about 15-20 minutes. The hostesses were friendly. When we sat down the server, Nick, greeted us quickly. He was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered my sons food first (hotdog and fries), which was a decent portion. It came out within 10 minutes along with our buffalo wings. The wings weren't overly huge, but they were very flavorful with just the right amount of sauce. My fiancé ordered the chicken sandwich and it was very good (according to him). I ordered the Cuban and it was AMAZING. I would definitely recommend ordering this. The views from inside weren't too shabby and we could hear the music from the little park. It wasn't too badly priced. I would suggest going to do the SkyWheel after dinner! Overall, good food and great service.

  • Patrick D.

A touristy type place nothing fancy. A little overpriced for normal bar food. The atmosphere is very night its right on the boardwalk near the sky wheel and it has a lot of outdoor seating. Overlooking the beach. I think this would be a good place to stop and grab a drink but probably wouldnt go back to eat. It was just average.

    (3)
  • Brittany C.

Loved this place! Our waitress was great and they have fantastic happy hour specials. Pretzel sticks are the bomb. I loved the spicy mustard and the cheese!

    (5)
  • Steve L.

Decent but not great. Lots of different options for mixed drinks. Friendly staff, good music. Typical beach pub food. Pretzel sticks were good, burgers were ok (and not overdone as many bars will do), onion rings were a good choice to add on vs the fries. The rings had lots of crunch and weren't greasy. Disappointed in the fish tacos. Not enough blackened spice, and the grilled fish was over done. Definitely a good place to knock a few back with friends and have a good time right on the beach.

  • Wilson M.

Anyone who placed 4 and lower did not have the cash for this place. $100.00 easily put down in this place and it was worth every penny! Amanda B was our waitress and got souvenir cups that looks like blenders with cheap refills! I had a shrimp appetizer, turkey sandwich and a salad. Get whatever drinks they recommend! DO NoT MIx Bananna with tequila!!!

    (5)
  • Sara V.

I've never really been a big fan of mixed drinks, but the Bahama Mama is ok. The seafood salad looks very good, even without the salad dressing. It even tastes really amazing; I'm impressed, since I've only mediocre seafood salad. It is well worth the trip to come here for it. You do get your money's worth here. Plus, you have an amazing ocean-front view here.
