Wonderful authentic Italian food! Tastes like I remember from my visit to Northern Italy! Great service, friendly staff, amazing meal!! I recommend the Caprese with the freshly made mozzarella! And if you like lasagne, you won't be disappointed!

We visited this restaurant recently thanks to a Groupon. We weren't sure what to expect, but hey, whynot? The first impression of the restaurant was not great. There were dead / dried up plants everywhere (of course, it is winter, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here). We enter the restaurant and yeah, not too shabby. There were a few different dining areas (good to reduce noise and over crowding). Our waitress was very nice and helpful. We asked several questions and she answered them quickly and without any issues. One negative is that the menus were getting redone (or so I was told) , so they had some dishes available that weren't on the menu, and some dishes on the menu that weren't available. A bit confusing. The food itself was good. I enjoyed being able to get pasta as a side for my steak (most places make me purchase it separately). Overall, not a bad place to go. Check it out.

Does not cater to the lighter eaters. They charge extra for you to split your plate. $5.00 extra for early bird or $7.00 extra for dinner. We won't be back

Arrived around 530pm. They were not busy at all. Hostess said it would be seven minutes before we could be seated. I had a party of 2! We decided to go to the bar and wait. No bartender in sight. Restroom and bar areas smelled like must/mold. After waiting over 10mins with no bartender and watching a party of four walk in right behind us and be seated right away, that sealed the deal for us. I do not recommend this place at all.

Cheese sticks for the appetizer were good, as well as the Pepperoni Pizza. Soups were cold and bland. Spaghetti marinara especially pricey for just an OK gravy and noodles with a small serving size. I ordered a side of Italian sausage and it was delivered when we were finished with our entrees. There also seems to be a communication gap with the employees as I kept asking what is the status with the sausage and she kept quizzically looking at me in broken English saying "good every ting good".

I bought a Groupon for this place and I came here on a Monday and the sign said closed on Mondays....went there yesterday (Sunday) and the sign said closed on Sunday...REALLY?!!! If I go there today and see the same I suggest u don't buy a Groupon for this place....may be a sham. If they are open I will change my review.

Worst meal ever. Upon ordering flounder was told not to order because cook did, not know how to properly prepare this dish WHAT???? does not instill confidence in any item on this menu. Salmon was the only seafood option. Horrible overcooked and fishy. was told calamari was the best in Myrtle Beach. NOT.. Thick rubber bands borderline inedible. had to ask 6 times for water despite almost empty restaurant. Asked for dressing on the side - another major issue. Chicken marsala advertised as cooked for 6 hours but tasted chewy like it was quickly prepared. Seafood very fishy not fresh.Pasta on the side was premixed with sauce. looked like they prepped it ahead. This place needs a lot of work with both staff and food if they expect to survive!

Not good....and this place keeps posting glowing BS reviews....how stoopid does La Festa think everyone is ?? The only positive reviews are nearly all recent joiners of yelp...and all are one and done ??? Decor is odd ...but interesting ! First...it was nice to see a familiar face at the bar....of course I am so rude I cannot remember his name..but he did an excellent job at 2001 for the last 30 plus years ! Very nice to have really terrific jazz bands playing....nice to see Phil playing his horns as well ! My first visit was decent....seafood risotto was very good. 2nd visit was not so good. The service was excellent and the server tried really hard to make everything special...but.... The grilled shrimp and vegetables were very good with just the right amount of char....but the shrimp were no way local, which is a shame. Everyone asked for their salad dressings on the side...of course the salads came way over dressed and did not appear to be fresh...pre shredded carrots ?? Ya don't use commercial pre shredded carrots at an upscale restaurant....no question the salads had been pre-made earlier in the day... as the plates were cold. We asked for no additional salt ....so of course everything was way over salted. Calamari way over salted. They did not have Alfredo on the menu...but c'mon....how hard is it to make Alfredo ? My pasta dish had been sitting for far too long....it had congealed and the mussels on the side were cold....and...way too salty. My lovely dates seafood risotto contained very little sea food...was way over salted to the point of not being edible...and was not warm enough. Others at the table did not care for their food either....only one entry of six ordered was at a reasonable serving temperature..and again...everything was way over salted. 4 double espressos came out with zero crema on the top...they should never have been brought to the table. None of us are Italian cuisine neophytes. There were few patrons....so the kitchen could not have been stressed. We pointed out these issues to our server who could not have been more gracious...however we wanted to pay and get the heck out...alas....she said the manager wanted to speak to us...fine ! Ummmmm.....5 minutes later....no manager....really ?? you have not very happy patrons.....sooo...you keep them watint ?? so we got up to leave and he met us on the way out...he was sufficiently gracious...but did little to make us want to return. Lets hope the place comes around, spends more time improving their kitchen...and less time posting bogus reviews...as they seem to have a good idea...just are not executing as of now.

I was pleasantly surprised with the food and service. House dressing for salad was outstanding. Veal Parm and angel hair was really good but portion size is small. Only thing I disliked was the bread which was very dry. Other than that everything was good and we will return.

I am a diey hard Ciao fan. BUT I have to say it's nice to have another quality Italian Restaurant in the area. There are plenty Italian restaurants, but not that many really good ones! First time I went I had Alfredo. The pasta noodles are homemade and the sauce was delicious. The homemade bread was very good and served warm. Too full for desert! Second time I went, 4 days later I tried ravioli. Again, delicious! This time we had desert, cheese cake and a little cream horn. Tasty. The deco is beautiful, they saved a lot of the items from Cagneys, so it looks first class, but the prices are very fair. I will be back!!!

I am a Soldier stationed at Fort Gordon and took the family to Myrtle Beach for the weekend. We saw this place and wanted to try it out and we are glad we did. The food was fantastic especially the desserts. The st valentine and the cantucci were ridiculously good. Kids menu are on view masters so they can see what they can order. Prices were affordable. I am Highly Recommending this place if u are in myrtle beach

There's been a higher quality calling for restaurants here in Myrtle Beach. La Festa answers that calling. With homemade past, delicious food and great staff, this place is a must go!! All the good is great. And, to my surprise, they have a fabulous private piano bar room for after hours. This is the place to hang out. Classy and not regular Myrtle Beach bs. I'd recommend dinner first as you can't go wrong with whatever you order. It's really just up to what you like.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
