Loved this place. Thought that it was delicious, and I love that it offered vegetarian options. It was the only chinese place I could find that delivered to my hotel that had tofu as an option, and tofu that was cooked well at that. I'm waiting for my second order right now actually, so I'm definately a fan. I didn't like that it takes about an hour to get your food, but I understand I am in a popular tourist destination and there are probably lots and lots of orders. Also, the customer service was a bit rocky. He was pretty nice and all he was just kind of short with us. No real major issues. I really liked it. My biggest problem with it was that it was pricey for what I am used to where I live, but so is pretty much everything else in Myrtle beach.

It's been over an hour and a half and I still haven't gotten my food from them..i think it's safe to say I won't be ordering from them ever again!

Good food, big portions, good delivery times. They forgot our egg rolls but apologized profusely for forgetting them.

My husband and I decided to try China Chef today and we weren't impressed. The delivery driver was a nice guy, but the food wasn't the best quality. I ended up throwing away about half of my entree because I couldn't eat any more of it. Maybe it was just an off day, but the food seemed to cost a lot for what you got.

The food was awesome and expected an hour wait, but they got here in 30 mibutes! Great since he had hungry kids! Recommend the kids meal..she got chicken wings, chicken nuggets, chicken ball, fries.

AC didn't seem like it was working and only 4 ceiling fans so it was kind of warm while we were waiting for our take out. There are 6 tables with 4 seats a table, so not a very big dine-in section, but not like you'd really want to eat there anyway. Bathroom out of order. Handwash only. Food was descent, but nothing memorable. I guess that could be a good or bad thing.

They are weird about delivering to hotel rooms. It has the option to order online but don't bother since it usually days your out of the delivery area. Otherwise the good was ok, especially late at night when you're craving Chinese.

This was the worse Chinese food I have ever had. There were 5 of us and none of us could finish our entrees. We threw more away than we ate. The appetizers were nasty as well. To top it off, they promised delivery in 40 minutes. The food was delivered after 1 1/2 hours. This meant the shrimp toast was not only very greasy and burnt, but cold as well.

My GF and I arrived in MB tired and didn't want to go out for dinner. We snagged a China Chef menu in the hotel lobby and placed an order for delivery. My Singapore Mai Fun was pretty good: the spices were all there as were the roast pork and shrimp. There was a generous amount of egg in it, almost too much. The noodles seemed "off" though, as if they'd just picked up some angel hair from the store instead of using a traditional Asian noodle. My GF said that her lo mein and fried rice were good. The egg rolls were bog standard and arrived hot. China Chef has a website that does online orders. I hate talking to people on the phone, so I used my netbook to place the order (my GF also tweaks most things she orders, so I liked having "NO MUSHROOMS" down "on paper" instead of just telling them). The order arrived exactly on time and as requested, but the online ordering and sign-up process was so long that I just should have called. I do like that you can add the tip to the online order, though.

Food was ok. Our problem came when we realized they missed an item. We were told, "Sorry, the driver is too busy for us to deliver it." My hunch is that since we were staying in a hotel they figured they could afford to lose us as customers since we probably weren't locals. Not ok!

Pretty good place. I had the honey chicken. Fried rice was just ok. Egg roll was ok. Large portion of the honey chicken in the combination plate. They offer easy online ordering as well. That's a plus.

Last minute decision on a Sunday night. No frills, tidy. Located in an almost abandoned plaza. We got takeout. Food was better than I expected, your typical Americanized chinese food. We got the Combinaton plate of sweet& sour chicken & rice and House lo mein special combo.

Was told they would deliver to my location--even said so on website. Placed order and waited until I got a phone call that said, "no deliver location" and they hung up.

Not bad. Typical Chinese take-out fare. Food was not too greasy or tasteless. The restaurant was clean and did not look worn or dirty like alot of these take-out Chinese places.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
