Great Local business. We have purchased all that they have to offer. Everything has been great. Recently did a steam pot with all seafood from Seven Seas. All my guests were blown away. If you love seafood I highly recommend this place.

This is a great stop! We got 2 pounds of large shrimp and they were great!! We also got a pound of large scallops and cooked it all at home. We had a delicious meal and it's a lot cheaper than going out to eat! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great seafood and also an experience. The monger took my four YO in back to show him where the crabs live. He also gave us great instructions on how to prepare everything we bought. Would be a regular if I lived here.

Ambiance/Decor: B Service: A+ Food Quality: A+ Price: B+ Probability of a Return Visit: Definitely -------------------------------------------------------- My second visit to this seafood market. It will be a mandatory trip, when in the MB area. I cooked all of this on my grill and it was awesome. Ambiance/Decor: B Well stocked and clean. Typical fish market with cold cases and plenty of ice. Service: A+ I have always had friendly service at this location. Plenty of knowledgeable employees on hand. In and out quickly and got exactly what I wanted. Food Quality: A+ I got the following and it was all delicious: 2 lobster tails, grouper filet, red snapper filet, shrimp, little neck clams, and a couple of king crab claws. The red snapper was sooo good. I love grouper, but I should have gotten all red snappper. The king crab had lots of tasty meat and the clams were great. It was all great! I wish the shrimp had been larger. Price: B+ Prices are high, but that's the cost of great fresh seafood. Well worth it. Probability of a Return Visit: Definitely, whenever I am in the area.

Having previously lived in the area I look forward to returning each summer to eat my weight in seafood. Murrells Inlet is known as the Seafood Capital of South Carolina and is dotted with many great seafood restaurants that take advantage of the inlet views. Sure you can drop $25 for a 4 oz piece of fish or come here and enjoy some fresh seafood you can prepare at home. Several of the Inlet's commercial fishing boat skippers opened a seafood co-op that is now Seven Seas. This place stays busy with fair prices, and outstanding customer service but they can get you in and out in no time. This trip I enjoyed some Mahi Mahi and little neck clams that were heavenly. There are several other seafood markets in the area but this one is my favorite due to their selection and prices.

100% LEGIT. I was seriously impressed by the two kids working behind the counter that greeted us when we arrived and had dinner recommendations for our party of a dozen people set up before the adults even needed to utter a word to us. I really wish that we had a place like this where we live. I'd go at least once a week.

After two years (and trying other seafood markets) I'm certain they are the best! Staff is friendly, informative and knowledgeable! Seafood has always been fresh and delicious!!

Totally unprofessional and uncaring seafood market. I called three times to get live crab. Was told that they had some I told them I was on my way. Ten minutes later I walk in and they tell me they had sold out. Not only will I never set foot in that seafood market, I will tell every body that I know who comes to the beach to not buy seafood there. I don't think that I've experienced pure greed so blatant as at seven seas seafood market. Avoid them at all costs! Horrible service

Great recommendations from the staff. Excellent customer service and fresh fare straight from the sea.

Any time we vacation here we get our seafood from Seven Seas. As others have said the selection can be a bit limited but they're buying the fresh, local catch. They're also a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. As a rule, you can't go wrong here and -- fyi -- they've got the best oysters around if you enjoy them on the half shell. No idea what sort they are but they're salty, sweet and just the right size.

Great advice from staff re: preparing my purchase... And everything was super fresh.

Seven Seas is a regular stop on my family beach vacation trips. We typically pick up some freshly caught local fish. Sure, it's more pricey that what you'll find at Food Lion. But, you're buying freshly caught LOCAL seafood! We've always been very happy with the seafood we've bought here - always fresh!

In MB for a family vacation, and we generally look for a bushel of crab if we're at a coastal town. Seven Seas steamed a big box of crabs for us. The crabs were perfect and big. We asked them not to use Old Bay seasoning, and they were fine with that. When I'm back in the area, I would go back to them.

Stopped here on my search for fresh local seafood. Not sure if their prices are the cheapest- a bit more expensive than the grocery store, and the selection wasn't the biggest - but I was happy with the resulting dinner. The shrimp I bought wasn't impressive (the "large" shrimp was liberally peppered w/ decidedly tiny shrimp) the fresh locally caught grouper was the freshest I've ever tasted. Mouthgasm. I do recommend that you go to the local grocer for your "fixin's" (breading, cocktail sauce, etc.) since the selection is limited and a little pricier than the afore mentioned grocer. But if you like to cook seafood- you can't beat fresh.
