Yummy! We ordered the Choose Two. My husband and I both had the smoky pepper jack turkey sandwich. He had chicken tortilla soup and I had country potato soup. We both had sweet tea. Everything was delicious, served hot, fresh, and quick with a smile. It's convenient if you're visiting attractions in Mt. Pleasant. The restaurant is nice and very clean.

The idea of chain delis just never feel right to me, I'm just surprised they have the level of popularity they (Subway, Quiznos, etc) enjoy, such as McAllisters has been since 1989. Sitting on some prime Belle Hall real estate, the location is clean inside and out with a friendly staff. I find the sandwiches to be quite average, wether ordering from the Hot, Classic or Club options. After I read the first meat ingredient in The Italian, the flames of my hopes were quickly doused with a large bucket of ice cold water. Black Forest Ham? That's just so wrong. The chicken cutlet with a side of mac n cheese was more expensive than I feel any single sandwich with a side from McAllisters should cost. My advice? Keep a meal under $10.00 (at the most) for sandwiches, because the majority of the sandwich choices are outdone and priced lower by the Harris Teeter at the opposite side of tha parking lot.

I enjoy McAlister's deli for a quick reliable lunch. I typically choose from a few different things when I go. I would say my favorite sandwich is the french dip. The roast beef is always lean and they don't skimp on the au jus. If available, I get the chicken tortilla soup. Ask for extra chips on the side because that's the best part! It is spicier than one might expect but in a delicious way. Second choice soup goes to the Broccoli & Cheddar. If your looking to share something, the chips and queso or nachos are always good.

Yum! The menu here is HUGE. I'd try to have an idea in mind of what you want before trying to order! There are salads and huge baked potatoes and cold and hot sandwiches. I tried a special that had chicken, roasted red peppers, and pesto and it was fantastic. I ordered a side of fruit and was not thrilled with that at all though, so I'll be trying a different side next time. My hubs had macaroni and cheese on the side and I got a case of food envy for that, so I'll prob try that next! They move pretty quick even when the line went out the door. Decent amount of seating and a couple of tables outside.

The food is kind of pricey (I paid $9 for half a wrap and a small side salad) but the food is worth it! The Chicken Caesar Wrap was delicious and the side salad was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and we didn't have to wait long to recieve our food. Excellent place!

I picked up take out for my boyfriend and myself after I paid a visit to Cupcake next door. I ordered the roast beef melt and he had the italian sub. They were both okay but I think we may have been just as happy with Quiznos and paid less money (we paid almost $19 here for two combos). The whole time we were eating my boyfriend kept asking me if I'd had a sub from East Bay yet, so I think that was a hint to pick up lunch there from now on. There really wasn't anything wrong with the sandwiches, they just weren't fantastic. The one thing I did like is that they offer lots of sides, we both were lame and just got chips but you can get mac & cheese, potato salad, fruit, etc instead. If I was in the area again I'd try one of the other items on their menu, perhaps one of their baked potatoes.

Being new to town, I am looking to establish my "go to" places... McAlister's is one of them. Been three times in 2 weeks (as I am living in a hotel at the moment), and each time was a consistent pleasant experience. The sandwiches are good, however the sweet tea and the side options are excellent. Try the baked potatoes. The customer service is constantly polite. While I was dining in, my tea was always full and the dining area was clean.

This McAlister's has not been updated and really needs it. (I heard it is happening in Aug) The staff was not as warm and welcoming, as the other locations I have visited, no one greeted any guests or thanked them for coming when they left. It is one of the southern hospitality cornerstones of the brand. The dining room was full of dirty tables. I counted at least 6 on our side of the restaurant. Once at the counter the cashier was friendly and able to make food suggestions in each category. Our visit began at 1:45p. They were not busy so I would expect the place to be more together and the staff to be more attentive. The manager did come by the table to check on us, but we were not offered refills. The food came out warm, but not hot. I enjoyed the BBQ nachos on my choose two. My husband really liked the new Southwest salad and its dressing. The cookies and other desserts weren't labeled and we had to ask what everything was and the ingredients. It would also be nice to have the desserts at each register not the end of the counter. Over all a nice time!

I highly recommend this McAllister's. They are always very quick about getting orders taken even when they have a long line and their food is always fresh and delicious. Plus their staff is always very friendly and helpful.

McAllister's deli is a pretty cool place. The service there is great- the girls who work the counter are very nice and will answer all your questions, plus there are tons of vegetarian options, including a vegetarian chili (which you can get on the baked potato, if you want). I had the Veggie Club sandwich, which was really a wrap. It was pretty good, but I think next time I'll order something else because the other food they were bringing out looked really delicious. If you're looking for a quick lunch in North Mt. Pleasant, this is one of the best options. Supposedly the sweet tea is the best around, but I don't drink tea to know. It does have quite a reputation...

Not gonna lie, I stopped eating at McAlister's for a long time after they got rid of the Greek Salad and sides of salsa for Veggie Spuds. Maybe it wasn't a big deal but seeing as how that was my favorite thing to order, I needed grieving time... Finally went back last week and got the Half Veggie Spud / Half Caesar Salad with sweet tea. It was a great lunch and I'm glad I went, but the side of salsa definitely makes the potato less dry (they should bring it back)! Also, a little more sugar in the tea would've made me happier, but I can appreciate not immediately contracting diabetes like some teas I've tasted. All in all, there's a ton to choose from and the customer service was wonderful (everyone smiling, greeting customers, friendly when ordering and delivering food, wishing a good day to people when leaving...) so I definitely recommend McAlisters.
