The first thing to know about Marble Slab Creamery is that it is well hidden. So well hidden that if my passenger didn't know where it was, I would have done the historic Town Center tour and still not found it but got some shopping done at Belk and Lowes. The place was clean and spacious for the small interior and the selections were amazing. Waffle bowls Waffle cones Banana split Sundaes Shakes Malts and toppings for all the eye can see. They even have a frequent shopper card. Buy 6, get one free. They are open when most ice cream places and coffee shops close. If you want a quiet inexpensive date, family night out or an urge for homemade creamy ice cream, get over there.

Was super excited to come here tonight however was greeted by a locked door. The employees were cleaning up and closing down even though they don't close until 11, as advertised by their website and their door. When I asked the teenagers at 1015 why they were closing he responded very rudely we are closed. No explanation was given. No apology just a simple close door in my face. I would have left my house earlier had I know their hours were a lie. I don't appreciate the customer service (or lack there of) or being misled. Not cool marble slab. Not cool.

The Good: I like places like marble slab because I love chocolate ice cream and most flavor concoctions are made with vanilla or other flavors. Here I can get whatever I want. I don't usually go to crazy on toppings but I went the other day and opted for a Butterfinger cone with chocolate ice cream mixed with heath bar, raspberries, and sliced almonds. I must say it was pretty amazing. The Bad: What I don't like is that they can be rude in this location sometimes. I one time had a Groupon (entire reason I went that time) that a guy told me I couldn't use unless I printed it out. He basically didn't know what to do and said I would have to come back when a manager was there. I told him that was not happening and he applied the discount to my bill and I told him he could take it up with his manager later. I shouldn't need to suggest that... it should just happen. Also they are getting a little ridiculous with the prices on these ice creams. We had 3 of us the other day and nobody got anything crazy... it cost $25 for 3 ice creams... that just seems nuts.

Not too bad. Not a lot of ice cream flavor choices. Nothing compares to Ye Ole Fashion.

I would totally give marble slab 5 stars if it was based on the simple fact of them having my favorite ice cream!!!! (Low fat fro yo birthday cake!!! Try it - amazing!) Buttttttt I know everyone likes different things so ill review them over all, I guesssssss. They have a ton of great ice cream choices and you can try them all before choosing! I love that they have fresh ingredients that they add and mix right in front of you. With that said... They did only get 4 stars because of the price. Ill go and get a small with one topping and it's still pretty pricey! They don't weigh it like some other places so every tipping adds a significant amount. A small/medium with 2 toppings was like 8 bucks! I guess that could be normal for some so may not seem that bad. I'm just used to growing up and spending 3-5 dollars on Ice cream. After a dinner out if I pick up the ice cream tab that's still an extra 20 bucks. Either way... Amazing favors and toppings, Decent sizes, a little pricey but great location to get ice cream and walk the shops. They have indoor and outdoor seating available as well.

Been there done that. Ice cream is ok, but spend $8.00 for two people is insane. Rechecked my cone, no gold leaf found.

Love this place, go here with my family, their flavors change. A lot of topping to pick, and it is a affordable price. Also there is different cups and cones.

This is a run of the mill Marble Slab. A few seats inside, the usual selection of ice creams and toppings that the counter associate mixes up in front of you. It's not the easiest place to get into - some twists and turns to access the parking area.

The phrase kid in a candy store about sums up our visit.. 4 "grown" adults going to town. pigging out in an ice cream store. somehow we managed to spend 30 dollars on 3 specialty cones and 1 bowl. that did include a tip for the poor guys having to deal with our shennanigans, but the store was clean, the people in it were friendly and im sure they were happy to see us leave :) We had an absolute blast, and the ice cream was scrumptious!

I had been craving coconut ice cream for months but nobody had it. All I could find was this coconut-pineapple hybrid everywhere. So finally I gave up and made some delicious coconut ice cream at home. Later that week I decide to stop into Marble Slab after seeing a movie in the town center. Guess what I found there? COCONUT ICE CREAM!!!! So since I already had coconut ice cream at home I got a little dish of amaretto, super tasty. This was my first time going to a Marble Slab and I think I like Coldstone a little better. The employees seem a little friendlier at Coldstone plus I like their little pre-made creation lists for days when I'm too indecisive to decide what mix-ins I want. There really isn't a big enough difference between the two to make me completely loyal to one brand though, I'll probably go to whatever is closest.

Extremely similar to Cold Stone Creamery. Actually, I may prefer Cold Stone slightly solely because I've experienced it more in various cities. That being said, the ice cream etc at Marble Slab is definitely good and it's worth trying out. They have a myriad of different flavor choices so the combinations are endless! When my 21 month old daughter is particularly good, I like to take her here for some Daddy-Daughter time. And, of course, she gets the chocolate ice cream everywhere but loves it!! Great place for a cool treat especially when it's 158 degrees outside.
