Don't miss this place... We love it! It's a bit of a drive for us so we try to plan it, for when we are driving by on our way to Charlotte. Located sorta in the middle of no where and right in the middle of a big peach tree farm. Check their schedule... They are only open certain days and times for lunch and dinner but have great steaks, burgers, desserts and different specials each day. It's also a butcher shop with an awesome selection. The owner has an unbelievable collection of old tractors and buggies just sitting out for everyone to enjoy. And last but not least, it's located right behind McLeod's Peach Stand/Store... With great homemade pies and ice cream.

Kind of out of the way, but worth the drive. The broccoli salad isn't what I'm use to. Lots of stems. The grape salad is ok. Sweet potatoe comes lightly covered in cinammon sugar. But the steak, rib-eye, is to die for! They have premise frozen foods you can buy too and a great selection of fresh meat you can stick your fridge with.

Come here every year on my way down to the beach for the burgers. They always use fresh ingredients in their food. The quality of beef in phenomenal. Some of the best burgers in NC!

Big's is located behind McLeod Farms on Highway 151. I've been eating here since moving to the area five years ago, and never have had a bad meal or experience here. Family owned and run, Big's offers burgers, steaks (on Wednesdays and Thursday evenings), chicken, sandwiches, and daily specials. Very kid friendly as well.

On a business trip to the local power plant and went here for a Saturday lunch. They had a good business going on a holiday weekend. I had the club dell sandwich with fries. Very good sandwich but the fries were limp and greasy. Still, a good lunch option.

Not organized, terrible seating, terrible service, adequate food. We divided into 2 tables in 2 rooms because we had 9 people. Waitress came to the table I was at to get our order, came back missing a steak that we ordered and didn't come back to check again until we refused to pay for the steak we never received ... Cashier argued that we didn't order the steak until 30 min after the first order and didn't get that the waitress screwed up until it was spelled out to her that we all ordered at the same time. We were leaving and didn't want the steak we ordered an hour before but she kept insisting it was almost done and we needed to pay for it. We ended up leaving with a steak nobody wanted because he had filled up on his salad and potato, and the only comp was that we didn't pay for the steak, we did pay for the salad and potato. To be fair the other table had decent service.
