Comfort food at its BEST! Wish we lived closer and could patronize this fun friendly family run establishment more frequently. Pizza, wings, fish fry (Fridays) and beef on weck are mine and my hubby's faves. Buffalo & NYC owners know how it's done! If you haven't been here, give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

The food is wonderful, love the bar, lots of TV's for watching sports. The staff is attentive, and they always make sure the food is up to par and check your drink status. Just a side note, on more than one occasion I've seen the owner who sits at the bar getting on the staff which is very uncomfortable for the patrons...he's kinda creepy

Pros: Full Bar. Best Wings ever. The pizza was so good. Carrot Cake was amazing! Cons - Service wasn't the best but I can look past that since our server was very busy

The South is not known for its quality pizza. In fact, after a year + of coming down here in Greenville County for work, I had tried 20+ places and only Tito's stood out. That was until finally I was able to take a friend's recommendation and headed to Mauldin, home of Kevin Garnett, for some Moretti's. Immediately impressed. These folks from Buffalo, NY know how to make a pie. Perfect crust, the right amount of topics and cheese and sauce that borders perfection. My buddy wanted to get a sausage pizza and normally I decline because most places use sausage that overpowers rather than compliments the pie. Moretti's sausage pizza is brilliantly done and compliments all the flavors perfectly. Next up on my agenda is the "Beef on Weck." There is nothing else like it on a menu anywhere around here. It's rumored to rival Chicago and North Shore style roast beef sandwiches. Get Arby's out of your head. That's processed ham and resembles nothing in appearance or taste to roast beef.

Really some of the best take-out only pizza in the Upstate. We are friends with the owners and cooks, and they are genuine Buffalo expats. Don't go fancy, just get spicy wings and a pepperoni pizza for take-out for the full experience. This is a good sit-in restaurant too.

While the pizza was good, it doesn't accurately represent something you would get from Buffalo. The BBQ wings on the other hand, were excellent. Only downfall was that they could have been charred more.

Full stocked bar with several nice choices of beers on tap. The pizza was quite good, as was the pasta. Tip - when they bring your bread basket, shake some parmesan cheese on it. They put what tastes like olive oil on the bread, the cheese sticks to it and adds a whole other level to it. Side salads were perfect. Just the right size with just the right amount of dressing on the side. I had the Famous, which is double meat, cheese, and thicker dough... well, they say double, but it's honestly more like TRIPLE. I pulled my first piece of pizza and had a giant, thick, gooey strand of cheese connecting it to the pizza still on the pan to the pizza 6-8 inches away on my plate! The pizza sauce was not my favorite; however, I have very odd tastes in that department which is *not* their fault. The sauce has a lot of spices and a little heat to it. If you're not a fan of a bold sauce, then make sure you go light. For most others, it's probably a very perfect sauce. The place seemed very local friendly. People at the bar seemed to know each other. All in all, seems like a nice place to hang out.

Moretti's is one of my go-to spots for pizza and wings. They have decent wings and some tasty pizza. I'm sure it helps that I live so close by this place. I have ordered carry-out a number of times and chose to dine in once so far. Their garlic parm wings are pretty darn delish and reasonably priced. My go-to pizza is Moretti's famous. Their pizza sauce is some of the best I've ever had (I normally am not a big fan of sauce) and their dough (while a little too thin to hold too many toppings) is quite flavorful. We tried the Works once, which was good but made the crust a little too soggy. I came in on a Friday and had to try their fish fry one night, especially since I'd never had Buffalo fish. The batter was perfectly crispy, but overall the fish was a little bland for my taste. As for service and friendliness, the staff here is great. Even on a busy Friday we got great service and our server was lovely. When we have ordered carry-out, the wait is never overwhelmingly long. The interior is small and a little loud, but I suppose that is pretty typical of an Italian restaurant. Seriously - try their pizza. It's fantastic!

Visit 4/11/2014 Will not return. The pizza was so bad my teenage son would not eat more than one slice. The garlic cheese toast was nothing more than French bread with cheese and then toasted. Did I mention how expensive they are. My family agreed to stick with Pizza Factory in Mauldin. The pizza is much better.

Ok, for $77 I expected some pretty darn good pizza. We ordered for pick-up two larges and one monster size. The special-ordered large vegetarian was fine - the jalapenos added flavor to it. The large all-meat pizza was baked too long; however, all was not for naught as it did serve as subject matter for humerous debate after dinner (no one chose to eat it - yep, a whole pizza left) over what characterizes a burnt pizza. We ordered the monster with half margherita and half garlic spinach and ricotta - again, it was fine but nothing to write home about. Glad to say that my $77 bill was offset by a $30 living social coupon. I would have given Moretti's three stars but am knocking it down a notch for the overbaked pizza.

This place is within walking distance of my apartment, so I've walked over here with a friend a few times. I've never been disappointed! The pizza is fantastic, but can be a little slow coming out if you come on a weekend night. It's worth the wait, though. My favorite thing I've gotten here, though, is the calzone. I think it may be the best calzone I've ever had anyplace. This place was a very pleasant discovery, especially being so near to me!

Just had a great steak sub and fries. As a sandwich fan, this earns the place 4 stars. I've had the pizza there on a previous visit and it's just ok. If you're headed here, choose a dish other than the pizza.

The owner is not very friendly and seems to really cater to the regulars and doesn't care much about new customers. Twice I brought friends with me because the pizza is good and the beer is cold, however; as far as an Italian goes, hardly. We decided to start with the Bruschetta w/ sausage. This was merely a sausage pizza on bread. I don't think they have real understanding of what Bruschetta is. As far as wings or sandwiches, they are just plane bad. It seems they could do a lot better business if they changed their attitude, made new customers feel welcome, and get a true understanding of what Italian is. The obnoxious drunk guy in corner of the bar is, what I am told, the owner. He gives every new customer a look like. "Why are you here"?

Pizza good, service good, prices affordable, location good. Shown is a picture of what good pizza looks like. Wish the buffalo chicken pizza was a little more than a cheese pizza with buffalo chicken sprinkled on top, but still good. Blue cheese or ranch should be offered automatically.

The garlic parmesan wings were AMAZING! The BBQ wings were better than most. My buddy got a bacon pizza that he said was above avg. That normally gets a 3 star rating in my book. They get a 4th star because my buddy dropped half his pizza (not their fault) and before he could say anything our waitress walked up to us and said a new pizza is in the oven already. WHAT?!?! They just straight up replaced his whole pizza, same size and everything, even though he'd already eaten half of it. Needless to say they won a customer tonight. I'm 7 min to downtown GVille but will take the 10 min ride to Moretti's again.

Not enough good can be said about this place. Their pizza and Italian dishes are good. What really makes this place, for me, is the chicken wings. Buffalo style and cooked perfectly. Best wings in town!! A special treat on Saturday after 4pm is the beef on weck bread. They fresh bake the weck this day only. The beef is incredible. Great fries and fish fry some days too!! Atmosphere is always nice. Clean tables and comfortable booth seating. Always some light music, usually Sinatra, playing and TV tuned to a sporting event.

Pizza was average. Service was fast and friendly. Many draft selections. Mozzarella sticks were average. I was hoping to be wowed. I thought it was just okay. If I return it'll be to try the wings that get great Yelp! reviews.

Food is good, bartender was a bit of a bummer which is a shame because Mauldin has no good places to have a drink. Bartender approached me and said nothing and I had to tell her what I wanted without being asked. It is not that hard to say "Hi, what can I get you?", which is about all I require of a bartender. I expect that kind of service at Hardee's but not in nicer restaurant. I will assume that she was just having a bad day and will give the place another try as the food was great and everyone else seemed nice.

This review is for what just happened the other evening. We ordered a large "supreme" style pizza and wings. On a Sunday evening with no visible (4:30) customers, the pizza took 30 minutes to deliver. The pizza was soggy; the crust soggy. Pepperoni was barely cooked with no curl or crispy to it. The red bell pepper was limp and soggy. We complained and the young waitress said she would take half off the bill. She didn't do that. Well, now the bad part. The red & white pepper jar for shaking onto the pizza had four (4) flies walking around inside, under the plastic cap. I spoke with the manager. I showed her the container with the flies. She said "Yes, they get in through the holes -- but they'll get out." I then responded, "but they poop in there". She said .. "well, we dump these containers every night ..". Truth is, she doesn't know what containers the flies have been pooping in. Truth is, the peppercorns are extremely expensive and unaffordable to discard then on a daily basis so the poop is still in a bunch of those containers. Truth is, I feel I was being lied to because I was complaining about flies in my food !! So readers --- fly poop in the condiments, soggy pizza & a flippant waitress. This place isn't my choice so why should it be yours?

Went on a Friday night, and there was a good crowd, but still got a table right away. The wings are the best I have had in a long time. The pizza was okay. Four of us ordered a large pizza, 20 wings, a calzone, a personal pizza, and a salad, along with 6 bottles of Guinness. $84

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
