Great ice cream flavor choices, the single scoop came in a drink cup and was enough for 2 people to share easily. Prices were super cheap. Loved the old ice cream store/burger shack decor, exactly what we thought it would be when we saw the sign on the side of the road. Can't wait to come back and try the hot dogs!

After passing by many times we tried Sandys, the Chicago dog was poorly done with cheap cut up pickles slices, standard bun and no sport peppers. Food definitely done on the cheap. Hot dog itself was okay but meal was certainly not worth 7.50.

I am a hotdog-a-holic so when I saw Sandys I felt it a must go. The dogs themselves are great...its the service that is making my 2 star review. When ordering you have a hit or miss situation, your not assured of getting what you order. When I order a chilli dog and get something else, its not rocket science what is wrong. The ice machine was empty, we told the person at the counter and they said "oh I have a bucket right here"...then proceeded to do nothing about it. The rest room.....OMG, use yours at home.

No atmosphere as one might say, but the lighting is good for reading or talking at , say, supper, and the chili dog is hard to beat. Nice staff. I find myself coming back again and again for a no frills inexpensive meal. I use to by pass the place, but now I have grown to like it, and see why it survives tough competition. No one does hot dogs much better, and most charge more..

Good dogs, fresh buns. The decor leaves something to be desired; the space has potential though. It was clean and I love dogs so it worked for me. They boast a "slaw dog"--didn't appeal to me, I am an onion & ketchup gal.

Good dogs and ice cream. Although you can feed your entire family hotdogs for about the same price by going to the grocery store.
