Terrible food. First salmon came out burned so bad it was completely stuck to the plank. The second salmon came out cold and raw. It wasn't just slightly undercooked, but actually cold to the touch raw. Service was fair but not great. *update* After leaving this review O'charleys reached out to us and offered us free meal on our next visit. They apologized about our experience and wanted to make it right. Every restaurant has a bad night, but the friendly customer service follow up was nice.

We have had many good experiences at O'Charleys, until tonight. First, we were placed at a table that was freezing, when we asked to move and complained about it being so cold the waitress said "oh I know it's freezing there, it's warmer over here". If you know it's utterly freezing in that spot don't place two young ladies with tank tops on there. Next, when we got our appetizer, I unrolled my silverware only to discover every piece was filthy. I set it to the front of the table to be seen by our waitress and there it sat the rest of our meal. The rolls came out hard and flat, nothing like their typical light, fluffy, buttery rolls. They were gross. When we asked for fresh ones she said they all looked like that and they were messed up -- so don't serve them! If you know they're bad don't bring them out to the table to serve your guests. That's terrible. Next I asked for a steak, medium. When it came out it was 100% rare in the center, and dry! No juice at all. The baked potato was undercooked, and my broccoli was cold. Then even though it was free pie wednesday we got charged for our pies, we had to ask the waitress to adjust the total. And when I complained to the manager, he didn't even seem to care. He said "thanks for the input" and walked away. We will never go back to

Really bad service. It's a slow night and it took us five minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink. The waiter acted like we were a huge pain before we even ordered drinks. The bread that comes with the meal was flat and obviously microwaved. After we ordered we were informed that they were out of bacon for the loaded potato skins. The waiter didn't make eye contact and would drop food on our table without saying a word. I try to be super friendly to staff but this wasn't having it. I'm not sure if he was taking smoke breaks because he would disappear from the floor for long periods of time. When we got the bill the potato skins we didn't get were on there. The waitress near us seemed very friendly. I wish we had her instead. This review would be really different.

I love eating here. If you get to come on the weekend, the prime rib is to die for, and I don't even like prime rib that much. My server also said something about having a bunch of new menu items coming out in the next week or so, so I'm excited to try them out! Great food, great people. I love going to a place where people know my name!

I've been here several times over the years, and I'll admit--3 stars is an improvement over my last visit. I came for a friend's birthday dinner. The service is outstanding, but it doesn't make up for lukewarm, uninspired food. I always end up paying too much here for food that is just meh. It all tastes the same and isn't very well-seasoned or flavorful at all. With so many other delicious restaurants nearby, this is a pass for me.

First of all we would like to say that our experience here was so bad that it caused us to sign up for a Yelp account Two very bad experiences: 1st experience I order a steak - medium rare - when it arrived at the table - it was complete burnt. It didn't even resemble a steak at that point. In shock - I asked the waitress why she even brought that to the table. She quickly looked at it and said "I know - I'm sorry" --- My wife's meal was fine. She then proceeded to say that she could have them cook another one, but that would have caused my wife and I not to eat at the same time. The manager came to the table apologized and said that she just yelled at the cook -- Kind of embarrassing on everyone's behalf. She took the meal off and I sat there while my wife ate her meal. The bowl of cereal I had at home later that evening was wonderful. 2nd experience: thinking that my 1st experience was just a mishap we decided to give it another try, this time for Sunday brunch. We ordered and everything was fine until the food came. No utensils. Wait......... The waiter finally came back and we requested utensils. I received a yogurt parfait -- with a fork? Wait again......... Could I have a spoon please? - "Oh, I'm sorry" - minutes later I finally received a spoon. That was my meal. My wife however did not receive the powdered sugar or syrup for her Waffle dish. She had to ask several times. We felt like we were getting on the waiter's nerves. - Her hot meal was cold by the time she took her first bite. There will not be a 3rd experience as we have learned our lesson.

This is my 3rd and last time to the Lexington Ocharleys. The namager Ray was very rude to us. The server never came to our table, we had to have the hostess take our order. The food was mediocre at best. Never again will I return.

I visited this O'Charleys yesterday for the first time in a very long time. After some not-so-great experiences, I decided to give it another try. And WOW, am I glad I did. The food was fresh and quick, all the staff friendly. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. California Chicken Salad is my all-time favorite salad. It's hard to find anything healthy in a town filled with drive-thru chains, but there are some great choices at O'Charleys, along with some yummy seafood options, and the southern staples. The restaurant itself is much improved since my last visit. Don't overlook this as a great night-out or family dining experience.

Friendly hostess and waitress. Order for drinks promptly taken. It took several requests to get extra ice. Our order was taken and brought in a reasonable time. My daughter's order was all wrong, with items she could not eat. She cancelled order and left. My wife's steak was so spicy she could not eat it all. I asked for some hot sauce for my order, when I ordered my meal, it did not arrived until my meal was almost finished. The manager was nice and tried to make it right, but we were finished.

This was not my first visit to O'Charleys but I keep giving it another try. Maybe I have finally learned my lesson. When a restaurant charges $10 for a pot pie I expect the place to be cleaner. The seat in our booth was dirty. I had to clean it myself before I could even sit down. The springs in half of the bench seat were just gone it was like sitting in a regular size chair at a high top table. Luckily my husband it about a foot taller than I am so he sat on that side of the bench. The small plates they have set on the table were dirty with dried food on them. Two out of three sets of silverware were filthy. I ordered the bacon and cheese quesadilla. The description read bacon, cheese, and pico de gallo. It was awful. You could barely find bacon on it, the "pico de gallo" was not pico de gallo. It was just chopped onion and green pepper. Medium chopped. Not even diced. I inadvertently asked for a side of mayonnaise instead of sour cream. It looked like it had been sitting in the hot sun for an hour. You know, like some kind of yellow shiny gel. My daughter ordered a brunch entree. Two eggs, over medium. They were very much over well. If your cooks are not versed in cooking breakfast food don't offer it as part of your menu. Very disappointed. And the LAST chance I give them.

Just got back from eating dinner. Got there early enough on a Friday evening so did not have to wait for a table. Service was fast and of course you cannot go wrong with the rolls. My only complaint is that they have this $10 meal deal - and you cannot even get a salad with the meal. I wanted a steak - and was able to find a comparable steak on the non-deal meal - and the side salad was included in one of the two sides (and same price as the deal portion).

Ate here again, two nights ago, I like that they are open late. I had baked potato and house salad, got free yeast rolls (they are outstanding). It was not exactly a menu choice, but it was done for me on request and the price was right, the food was excellent and the waiter was very attentive and polite. Nice dining experience (good light too, I like to read when i eat alone). I recommend it as a good late night alternative in Lexington.

The worst experience of my life. Waited a hour for table only to be ignored by waiter. When we finally ordered our food we told waiter my Granddaughter needed food as soon as possible 45 minutes later still no food. When we told him we were leaving he said thank a lot you took up space for an our that I will not get a tip for. We talked to Manager and he said sorry kitchen was really backed up tonight. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT that can't turn tables and make customers happy. That was their 2nd chance DONT plan to go back again.

Food-wise, they're as good as anyone else. But I've found the service to be a little crappy from time to time. This is especially disheartening since their PRICE is definitely an upgrade over their competitors.
