Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

The food was great. I had the shrimp scampi and it was delicious. The serving are large. Matthew was our server and took very good care of us.

I went here for the first time last Saturday and I can say YUM. I had the spinach ravioli and my date had bowtie spicy chicken. It was so good that I didn't stop to take pictures. The service wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was sufficient. They came enough to make make sure we were taken care of, which gave us ample time to talk. It wasn't crowded, likely because the location is a little far out. There is plenty of parking, and the lighting was intimate and the decor is cozy. I would definitely go there again if I was out that way.

They have the absolute best calzones in the area. No matter what size you choose it is large enough to feed a small army. The greek salads are also fresh, delicious and plentiful.

This place is not good. Any frozen section selection from your grocery store would be better. My husband and I arrived about 7 on a Friday night, I was not expecting much. Honestly I choice the place because I did not want to change after work and go to a busy crowded restaurant with people who actually dressed up for the occasion of going out. The restaurant is older and dingy. The waitstaff was nice and seated us quickly. There were some tables finishing up there meal with lots of tables that needed to be bussed. We were seated at one of the boothes were I had waves of vomit aroma come and go throughout the stay. All the tables had children with them so if you want a kid friendly restaurant this is it. (all the kids were well behaved and enjoying there meals). The waitress apparently was new, but she did not have common sense when service skills came to play. Brought my husbands salad out then after he finished she brought my soup out (which was cold and I think came straight from a can) then our appetizer came out. The meal portions are large and you will have enough to take leftovers home. I would rather have a smaller dish with a smaller price tag on it. This place was not for us. We tried it since it was close to our home, but will not be coming back. Noticed some other restaurants on augusta highway that might be better.

We have had lunch here several times. My mother and husband ordered a large pepperoni pizza. It had plenty of cheese on it and was delicious! I got an antipasto salad, which was loaded. I did scrape off the yellow onions, red would have been much better. We were the only diners when we arrived around noon. Several others came in, but it was not busy. I say give this place a try next time you are in the area. We love it!!!

Great family friendly restaurant! Service is always fantastic, kids love the fish tank. Parking can be annoying some times, but no big deal. The dough is fantastic, the garlic knots are to die for, the pizza is pretty decent...

Great Italian Fare with Price and Service to Match I have been visiting Luce's for a while now and have never had a bad experience. One time I had to wait a while for a take out order, but the staff was courteous and I was compensated for the wait. Other than that one time, everything has always been great in both service and quality. Every dish I have had has been great tasting and you can't beat the price! Their new cheesy garlic knots are marvelous, and I recommend the Brooklyn Bridge pizza (I add chicken and banana peppers, but it is great as listed on the menu as well).

We used to eat at Luce's a lot. Over time, the service has really diminished. About two Sundays ago, I called in a pickup order. I was told 20 minutes. 25 minutes later I showed up to find the order still on the counter. No one apologized, and I said I would be back in 20 minutes. I showed back up with a 10% coupon, which said "Good for dinner only", which I did order. I was told by the employee that the coupon was dine-in only and it was deceiving. I was further told that even if it was good, the manager was gone and would not be back. What if I was going to be dining in with it? Lastly, when I got home, the basket sampler was not even complete. Ever since this location was remodeled, it has gone downhill. They have WONDERFUL food, and the service makes it a shame. We will not be going back.
