I hate to even give this place a star. I got the chicken and dumplings 2 hours later I had food poisoning. Do not ever waste your time or money at this establishment!

I would have given Fugi more stars except for one issue. This is a fast food japanese restaurant. Not bad for the price. The problem is related to service. The young Asian guy who took my order should try a little eye contact. All he said to me was $11.24. I said thanks when he handed me my change but not even a thanks back. I guess for $7.35 an hour he could care less. I asked the two mexican giys cooking in spanish, "what is this guy's problem?" They responded back they don't know but try a little I contact and thanks for business at least.

This is a good casual hibachi place in the "newer" Publix shopping center on Hwy 378. The menu is relatively small. It mostly consists of various forms of teriyaki, egg rolls, and chicken wings, etc. What they do have is very good though. For 6 to 8 dollars, you can get a big styrofoam box full of meat, veggies, and fried rice. They also make their own yum yum sauce. 1 container comes with each meal, but I would suggest ordering at least 1 more for 25 cents each. For the price, the value is great. The atmosphere is pretty much on par with a subway or Moe's southwest grill. Most people get takeout from here and eat at home since all meals come in a takeout box anyways. Overall a good addition to the west lexington restaurant scene.

Customer service is half of the reason why you visit a restaurant. It is very frustrating EVERY TIME that I come in this restaurant to have to deal with the rude guy in the front. Asking him questions feels like you're bothering him. As customers we don't ask him to be there, this is his job and if he doesn't want to be there there's other places to be. There has been many times that I would like to eat at this restaurant but some days I do not feel like having to put up with the front guys rude customer service skills. The food happens to be really tasty and really good. You get a good portion for the price. It just sucks that you have to choose customer service over food , when the food is yummy. I will no longer be given them my business I can find places that have tasty food and very friendly customer service.

Typical mall food court style Japanese food. Only difference is shrimp sauce and sushi on menu
