They are in the same shopping center as my gym, so we had a post workout refuel. Still no atmosphere. I had an omelet, it was small with bland hashbrowns and blonde toast.

As a habit I try not to eat a chain restaurants, and in White Knoll that is what is available. However, once Brunches opened, I've been wanting to try it. My friend and I stopped by for lunch. The restaurant was not really crowded, but still had a good amount of people in it. We were promptly seated, and our drinks arrived swiftly. I ordered the country fried steak and my friend got the chicken filet sandwich. The food arrived quickly. My entree tasted fresh and the breading had a good flavor. The mac & cheese tasted good also. And the wing chips were awesome and had a good seasoning on them as well. The chicken sandwich was huge! The size was about double that of one from Chick-fil-A. He said it tasted great as well. The service was outstanding as well. Our drinks were never empty. And for the price, less than $9 with a drink, it is hard to beat! Glad we finally have a good place to eat in White Knoll.

The food was non spectacular. Standard prepackaged food. Service extremely slow wife ordered biscuit and gravy. Got what she asked one biscuit, crumbled sausage and white tasteless gravy. Worst coffee ever! Asked for small orange juice - never got. I will not go back and recommend you don't.

With six tables in the entire dining room, we waited 35 minutes for an oyster po' boy and chicken fingers. The chicken fingers were so burnt, you could smell the burnt grease as she set the plate down. Our server immediately apologized and said they could make another order, but I did not have another 35 minutes to give these folks. This was my second less than satisfactory visit. The food is all very simple, so I am not sure why the kitchen has such a difficult time putting out deep fried frozen items. I really want this location to succeed because it is in my own neighborhood, please get someone in your kitchen that can cook!

Great place for a breakfast or lunch. The portions are large and the food is tasty. One of my Favorites is the Island Reuben. It's a Fish sandwich made with Talapia with a Reuben twist! The meat and three is always a good choice too. Last week there was a Saturday Cook-out with some of the best Ribs I have had in a while...it was a hefty portion with corn on the cob, slaw and rolls all for $8! You can not beat that!!

Unfortunately its one of the only breakfast places in the red bank area if you dont want to go into Lexington traffic. I've only had breakfast here on weekends. The waitresses are pleasant but a little clueless about getting orders correct. The food is average, I've received burnt food here. The cooks tend to get backed up easily bc its not a surprise to wait 30 mins for your order. When its a nice day sit outside bc it gets really noisy inside (just due to design). I go back bc its close, but that's starting to fade. I think I'm starting to realize id rather save the money and make breakfast at home before coming back.

I have been here a few times and have always had a good experience. I think the reviews I have read are not an accurate portrayal of this restaurant. I think Amanda G's review is totally out of line. I have met Stacy the owner and he is very nice and I don't believe he would react in that way and I definitely don't think he would swear at customers. She claims to be a food blogger but only has one review. If you're in Red Bank and want a good meal at a good price try them out. Don't expect a dry aged steak it's not Ruth's Chris.

Diner food is diner food at this place. There isn't anything special about Brunches. They use packaged pre made products and lots of frozen foods. They have a problem with consistency because the kitchen staff is rude and not there for the customer. They fight a lot so don't sit close to the kitchen if you have children and don't want to hear swearing. I would blame that on poor management and the fact that they all get loaded out back during their shifts. They can't keep halfway decent staff because the owner is very difficult to work for, kind of a bully to sum him up. Don't order dessert either, it sits in their cooler forever and not properly stored to boot. So just do yourself a favor and go to Just Us or Cafe Strudel. You will be glad you did trust me!!
