This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Lancaster. The service is always great and they usually have the food out in impressive time! Great place for a date or a large group.

Only restaurant I go to in town. Any other type of cuisine is a trip to Charlotte. I've been a patron since it opened. Food is consistently good. No problems with the staff. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it.

NO Way Jose .. this is not Mexican food and it was a disaster from start to finish. so much so I won't go into it all .. I don't want to relive the experience!

The inside decor was really nice and our server was really friendly. I ordered 2 seafood entrees for $13 total; it was an amazing price! The food was decent overall (for being $13, it was great). The portion sizes were slightly small. It was great for a cheap Mexican place.

Best Mexican in the area. Authentic options as well as dishes that Americans are more familiar with. Their new street taco menu is absolutely perfect. I have moved out of the area, but every chance I get I will be back.

Excellent food. I ordered the guacamole with my #26 rice and chicken. They were a little skimpy on the guacamole maybe a tablespoon. My daughter ordered the baked potato with chicken. It was huge but she really liked it. I don't like trying to be guilted into not using my credit card.

Great food and wonderful choices. We had a large group and all our kids ate free on this Monday. Tacos al carbon was great! Best food I've had in Lancaster.

When I happen to be in the area, this is my favorite place to stop in for lunch or dinner. For lunch, you can get a big plate of food for $5 or $6. A couple of favorites here for me are the Pollo Fundido and Pollo Tequila. As Shawn mentions, their salsa is really fresh and we also order hot salsa to mix in with it. (The wait-staff is usually pretty skeptical that we would actually want to eat the hot, but after a little convincing, they always bring it.) Yesterday I visited for lunch, and decided to try a different dish. I ordered the Pollo con Queso. The dish was around $6.50 and came with spanish style rice, refried beans and strips of chicken breast covered in cheese sauce. The dish was served with soft flour tortillas on the side. It was not bad, but I think next time, I'll stick with one of my normal stand-by dishes. We generally have good service, but on a few occasions we have had servers who really went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. It is a really solid restaurant for this area.

walk through the door and you are quickly greeted and seated. not long and you will be given salsa (fresh) and chips that are warm and lightly fried. They are thinner than those in stores and most visits I could just sit and eat the salsa and chips the whole time. They have a full menu and also a lunch menu and will give you a grill menu. I have had only a few items off the menu, but the one i get repeatedly is the chicken fundito. it is a adobo cooked chicken in a flour tortilla (I like mine soft) fried, served with cheese on top and sour cream. along side re-fried beans and red rice. the plates are very hot sometimes, and the food is always quickly served at lunch time. so if you are in a hurry for a hour lunch this is a good choice. the service has always been very good, although sometimes getting a refill on your drink or of salsa might be a little slow in trying to find your waiter and don't bother asking the salsa server, they usually don't speak English very well. sometimes the salsa is not hot enough for me so I will ask for hot and no i cant eat that straight I just add a little to the other until it is hot enough.

Great food & service. Food came out quick & hot. Salsa had a great flavor not too spicy, but if you want some heat ask for the hotter salsa & mix it up for the just right kick. Worth the 25 minute drive from Rock Hill.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
