Went back on a Thursday around 630 to get some dinner and a few beers. My waitress was 17 and had to get another waitress to bring me my drink. I ordered a pizza made to order with mushrooms, sausage, ham and basil. It took just over 25 minutes for the pizza to get to my table and it was pretty well done, a little too done for my taste. I did arrive before two other tables so I knew it would take a while for my pizza to come out. I was a little disappointed by the sausage just being slices of sausage links as they were teacher large on my small pizza. I Also went back for lunch on the 1st and had a mozzarella tomato and basil panini which was devoid of any flavor, will not get that one again big disappointment. Overall if you want a place to go and get hammered this is a good place. Just eat before you go so as to not be dissatisfied.

The main bartender, Bonnie, is awesome once I let her know I don't really appreciate her calling my boyfriend honey repeatedly in front of me. The pizza here is ok...something with the sauce is off, but other menu items are good. The thing about this place is the people...the lady below summed it up--it's a bunch of people that live nearby (although trust me these folks do NOT live in tanner plantation, where the restaurant is), and know LG and are reliving their high school days. It was this adorable place called "Carolina Crust" and the woman who owned it changed it to random initials to name it after herself..."LG's"...if you don't mind a slightly loud rough-around-the-edges crowd some might call a bit redneck, then you wouldn't mind here, I guess. It's lots of people slightly past middle age dressing and behaving like they are in their twenties. There also seems to be a lack of professionalism...the poor teenage girls serving the floor on weeknights...it's completely chaotic. At the bar there's a random guy getting paid under the table to "help" sometimes, an older guy with a backpack who likes to touch the young women more than he should and never leaves, and another guy with a parrott that tells the people he owns the place. (Yes, I said a parrot, and no he's not really the owner...because the owner is a lady.) There is always a stream of people walking in and out of the kitchen. About half the time they have food they are actively consuming and I'd say only about 50% going in and out of the kitchen actually work there. If you want a stiff drink, go for it, but the crowd is a bit odd.

Ordered another pizza. It was just cheese but it is always consistently good. It is normally ready in about 15 mins. Just enough time to sit at the bar and have a beer. I can't speak for the rest of the food, but the pizza is great and the beer is cold. The price is right at only $10 for a 16".

I've been here a couple times in the multiple iterations of this spot. At the very least it is better than Carolina Crust, which held the distinction of serving both the worst sandwich and pizza I have ever eaten. I dare not try the pizza, as I believe this iteration inherited the deck ovens from "the Crust". The interior has significantly improved since LG's came in, and there is actually a semblance of an exterior (seating/decor). But you shouldn't fool yourself going to this place, it is a bar not a restaurant. Virtually all of the food is fried and in the appetizer category, the pizza is mediocre but palatable. The space seems to have a trouble controlling humidity, as there is always sort of a musty feel to the place. I'd probably go to knock a few back if it hasn't been overrun by the "regulars". Otherwise, there are better deals and better scenes in the area.

I enjoy coming here for a drink. Seems like a great place were regulars ago a lot. My friends and I say we want to become regulars. But who knows if that will happen. We enjoyed our serves the first time we went. But last night we were siting inside at a table and a waitress never asked us if we wanted anything. Also I know there's not a lot of room but if they had a pool table my husband would love going here more often!

Nice local Bar & Grill w/ good food (great pizza). Kids are okay to bring during normal people hours but be warned after 7 or 8 the intoxicated folks can make for an entertaining time, I've been one so don't take offense. Beers are cheap ($2 domestics) and surprisingly they have a very nice craft beer selection. I think the star of this place if you are eating and not drinking are the pizzas. We have been very impressed with the quality of pizza and when we have guests in town this is their first request. They changed their menu and no longer serve typical entrees (I think they were Italian before). They are sticking with appetizers (get the Mahi bites), sandwiches, pizza, and salads. Still good stuff to accompany your drinks. The people that go here obviously know each other (good thing) and the main feature of this place seems to be the bar. It is not 100% kid friendly but I'm not saying this as a bad thing at all. I just want people to be aware if you are looking for later in the evening dining options with their family that you may want to look elsewhere. On the outside patio there is cigar/cigarette smoke and inside the main bar is very close to the dining booths and the patrons use some vulgar language. I still love their pizza and the neighborhood happy hour there is awesome! For the odd things: There is no hostess station so when you walk in so you have to pretty much grab somebody to get anything but to be honest they are getting better about this. The owner is very nice and will listen to any criticism you have with a smile and actually make changes. The wait staff is hit or miss but have significantly improved over the past few months as I think they have cleaned house.

Food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I had a turkey sandwich and my kids had a cheese pizza. The sandwich wasn't very good at all, but the pizza was okay. The cannoli for dessert was good though.

Well, a great place to build you own salad all under $7.00! Servers are super, and there is WIFI- Nice patio on side with its own smoking-allowed bar if that is how you chose your death sentence... Non smoking inside and seems like the place to be to run into friends.

On my last visit I enjoyed good conversation and music while dining on some delicious food. The owner stopped by my table to check on us. We were trying to decide on which dishes we wanted to try. We settled on an appetizer of fried dill pickles. Our meal was the special of the day, low country boil. It was delicious.

While visiting family my sister an I decided to visit LG's and say hello to owner Laura. I grew up in Hanahan and miss the people. Wish we had a place like this to go to growing up. Laura sat and talked with us and let us know about a special fried corn they were having, of course we partook in this dish! It was wonderful. Fresh corn fried and then rolled in a wonderful mixture of parmesan cheese, cilantro and bacon. IT WAS AWESOME. We also had the special of low country boil. And it too was very tasty. the only thing missing for me was a little sour cream for my potatoes. But Laura is now on top of that! We also had to try the fried pickles. NOW let me tell you that those were wonderful and served with a great sauce of aioli with shallots, dill and lemon. That was the best dipping sauce I have ever had (I used up the remaning on my shrimp! it was that good!) There is usually a crowd of locals here, and everyone knows each other and has a great time. The weather was rainy so that (along with it being spring break) must have kept some of my old school mates away. Almost every night of the week there is a special along with the regular menu. If you like the Facebook page you can see posts for upcoming events and specials. They have drink specials, cornhole tournaments and live music sometimes. This is a very nice place to meet up with a group of friends and have a great time with food and drinks. there are 6 large flat screens with sports on them so just about anywhere you sit you can catch a game. Can't wait to comme back.

Stopped by after fishing. Ordered 2 beers after finishing mine I noticed something in the bottom of the glass. The bartender couldn't even get it out with her finger. Ordered the nachos with chilli which sounded good. When they arrived they were small and the chilli tasted like it was out of the can. Also noticed that the kitchen staff were not wearing hair net's.

My husband and I have been to LGs several times. We normally go for a few drinks, salad, and pizza. The service has never been great (slow, inexperienced, and unprofessional) but it has a convenient location and normally has decent salad and pizza-though we never come starving because it normally takes over 30 minutes to receive the pizza. This last visit will unfortunately be our last. When we first arrived and asked about the draft beer our server exclaimed "oh my gosh everyone asks that. We should just put it on a big board or something." (Well that's a great idea!)....Of course she didn't know the beers, so my husband TRIED to go up to the bar and see what they had. He couldn't see because the bar was crowded around a guy w/a PARROT!! (which was squawking). I did not think much about the parrot being there until I saw the man who was holding it ENTER the kitchen!! (We should have just left then-yuck!!!) We ordered our food and then the waitress came back to tell us the dough would not thaw for 20 min. We didn't want to wait so we ordered wings and a philly. 15 mins. Later she came back to tell us they didn't have any wings either. At this point we told her we were leaving and to please cancel the philly. She said it was pretty much done so we waited for her to box it. Again this took another 15 minutes because the waitress was so distraught over another table getting up to leave. We ended up paying FULL price for our wilted salad and less than mediocre philly! Poor quality, poor service, we will just drive the extra 10 mins. To get the quality we deserve.

Only had one stop in for a beverage after work with co-workers, but liked the place. Service was good. It's a pretty wide open space inside, so not a lot of privacy, but had some small booths and larger long tables which seemed really good for groups. The outside area had a nice bar area and a lot of outside seating. Not too far from work, will stop back sometime for lunch.

LG's is the perfect place near home to stop in and get a quick bite to eat and a drink. Sometimes a little dark in there but the staff are always so personable.
