Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Very cool hole in the wall. Awesome that Greenwood is developing the downtown scene with great ambiance and delicious food choices. The pizza here is very good in fresh ingredients and sauce choices paired with a quality crust. I'll definitely be coming back. Hate to make such a short review but I gotta eat!!! PS: Incredible friendly staff!

My first time here and The service was superb just like the food. You can't go wrong stopping. Great wings and Awesome pizza. Every girls dream love love loved it. I loved it so much I even ordered another round of wings to go for my lunch the next day. Thumbs up MillHouse. Megan was the bomb

Wow! This was an excellent choice for us after a day of touring Greenwood during the Festival of Flowers. Wonderful day ended with an excellent meal. I tried the Pineapple cider ale- perfect beer during the summer. I also had the Fungus humongous (spelling off) pizza...OMGosh!! Sublime.. My friends were happy with their choices but after sampling my pizza thought mine was the top pick. Waitress was sweet and friendly and helpful with choices and gave me a sample of the beer before I decided.

On a road trip I opened up yelp to find pizza and came straight to this place. The atmosphere is laid back with the Sunday football game on and the good was delicious and tasted so so fresh! We had the Titus pizza with pink sauce and added smoked Gouda (let's be honest you just can't pass up smoked Gouda) and it was very good with tons of toppings and cheese. The crust was actually my favorite part, so fresh and thin but not too crispy. We didn't have any of the beers but they had a ton plus some that are home brewed. My favorite part was that the owner and his father were in the restaurant and stopped to speak to us! The owners father was 98 years old and so friendly!

Came here because of the reviews while I was in town on a business trip. Was a weekday evening so busy but not slammed. Great environment, service was solid, beer was excellent, and pizza was awesome. Definitly recomend and will come back next time I am in town for business!

This place is really good. The wings were hot and very tasty. I had the Mill House Calzoli. It was huge with enough to bring home and tasted great. Others in my group had various pizzas and everybody was quite pleased. It has a cool almost urban atmosphere and great service. Others sampled the beers which they said were all good. I'll definitely come back when I'm in town again.

The Mill House has some really great food on the menu. Pizza seems to be the main staple and variety and taste are the calling cards of this establishment. You can order pizzas off the menu or design your own with a wide variety of sauces and ingredients. In my experience, the ingredients are fresh, the sauce to topping ratio is just right, and the brick oven crust is crispy but not overly thin. Salads and appetizers are plentiful and tasty, interesting, and original. There is also an extensive micro brew list. Where The Mill House goes wrong, for me, is that it can't seem to make up its mind if it is a bar or restaurant. Decor is largely non existent and the whole place is a bit of a cement black box. Lighting is poor and the acoustics are so bad that you have to shout to your dining partners to be heard.

Excellent Pizza it's hard to find sometime that understands how to make a crust crisp without burning it. Nice friendly service. Wings were good, but the Pizza makes it worth the drive.

BEST. PIZZA. EVER. So many choices - so little time! This place is a go-to when you want authentic wood-fired pizza, fabulous beer and a comfortable, upbeat atmosphere. The servers are great, everyone is happy and having a good time, and the food is killer! When my company has guests from out of town, this is often their first choice. We're never disappointed. The white pizza is my favorite, with artichoke hearts and spinach. Choose your sauce, then choose your toppings. The sandwiches are great, too. They're always accommodating, even when there are 20 of us all ordering something different. Little ole' Greenwood has hit the motherlode with this place!

The first time we went to Millhouse we had a couple of children in tow, one of which only drinks milk. They didn't have any. The owner left the restaurant and went to a nearby grocery store and returned a few minutes later with milk. Thank you. Oh, and the food is always really good. I would have stuck with 4 stars, but that milk trip really put this place over the top.
(5)Brittany U.
Very friendly staff, delicious food, and a large selection of craft beers made in house! Definitely would recommend this to anyone.
(5)Andrew L.
The pizza and beer selection are outstanding. Having a wood fired oven makes this joint, and their pizza, legit. The only area for improvement I found is the atmosphere. The exposed brick walls suggest a "cozy" environment where you would want to kick back and enjoy your brews. Unfortunately, the lights are so bright, and the air conditioning and fans make the whole experience so "cool" you wonder when the interrogation will begin, rather than which beer you will try next. I asked when the dim the lights and was told "they don't." Bring your sunglasses and a sweatshirt and enjoy some excellent food and beer.

Good restaurant for business lunches. My favorites on the menu are the brick oven pizzas. Good atmosphere for family, business, or casual dates. Prices are fair for the food and type of restaurant.

You will find me here nearly every Sunday night. Come for the beers, stay for the brick oven pizzas. The atmosphere is very cool and original. I recommend the Fungus Amongus pizza if you like mushrooms. Good place for families or hipsters later. Most original place in Greenwood, not to be missed.

Great pizza! I was having a hard time choosing just one so I asked the waitress what she suggested & she said as long as the sauce is the same they could make half & half. Yes! I got two with the white sauce & really enjoyed them both. I got a small which is plenty for 2 people & it was less than $10! They also have a huge selection of beer. I tried the pineapple cider... It was ok, had a perfumey aftertaste. Overall, I enjoyed our lunch & will definitely be going back! Want to try the pink sauce next time!

Great pizza and a wonderful addition to Greenwood. I will go back as soon as I am in the area again.

Great food! Ordered a wrap during lunch, the taste is very well balanced, the service is friendly and relax. Love it! Highly recommend!

So I've eaten here now three times in a month. It's got a great vibe in a small town that I would expect to find in a larger city. The menu is sufficiently varied to cater to wide group of tastes and preferences. The beer selection is solid and lists a description and location for the brewers. The staff is quick and courteous and the food is delicious.

This place has a great ambience. I've never had to wait more than one minute to be seated. Every appetizer I have ever ordered here is really good and comes out really fast. The pizza is outstanding. The staff here is always very friendly and helpful. They are cooking pizzas in brick ovens. I really recommend this place, it's a great place to eat.

Met out-of-town friends here for lunch on a Monday. Arrived at 11 and avoided the lunch rush. Very friendly and knowledgeable server who was honest in her answers about menu items. Nice ambiance in this refurbished building. Limited menu, but what they offer is excellent. Two of us had sandwiches and soup - more than ample servings and both cleaned their plates. My husband had "the best pizza I've had in South Carolina." I had the spaghetti and the half portion was more than enough. Very patient server as we say for two hours visiting with our friends.
(4)Chris W.
Not bad!!! Pizza was pretty good and had a great beer selection. Not gunna give this place any rewards but I will return multiple times. If your looking for a cool place to eat and drink with a group of friends, the mill house would be a wise choice.

The best pizza in town by far. Could add more sizes and selections but I'm satisfied with the available. Also a good beer selection. A must visit in Greenwood if u like beer and pizza
(4)Mary R.
Love the pizza and the beer selection, and I adore their Sunday brunch! The pizza omelette is delicious and washes down splendidly with a mimosa.

I went here with the wifey and and my dad and his wife. I read the one quasi-negative review, but clearly that dude is in his early 20s and needs to criticize things to feel important. Hopefully he grows out of it. Anyway, the food is fantastic, the service is first rate and the atmosphere is awesome. It's a fun place that doesn't take itself too seriously, except for the food. My dad is a foodie and he loved it. Is it pricey? Dunno. I bought dinner for the 4 of us, and my wife nailed some wine, and with tip it was less than $70. And it was a +20% tip because our service was so good. Also, I wasn't out drinking but if I was I could do worse than sitting at the bar and partaking of the great beers they have on draft. I know my pizza from pizza and this place has one of the greats.

Service was a little slow for the dwindling crowd on a Monday night. We had chicken wings for a starter and they were just ok, nothing to brag about. Pizza was good. Nice crispy crust and great marinara. Good beer selection of both draft & bottles.

This is simply the best pizza I have ever eaten. I hunt down pizza and pizza restaurants and this is the best. Numerous sauces and toppings including my two favorites, red sauce and white sauce. Thirty or so toppings and an AMAZING selection of beer. If you are ever in Greenwood this is the PLACE to be.
(5)Kimberly K.
Great pizza and atmosphere. The Cheesesteak sandwich was to die for!
(5)Chelsea H.
For pizza in greenwood that is made from skrach and cooked in a brick oven right in fornt of you this is the place, and the only one i know of. The food is awesome! Staff great, and the decor is really cool its dedicated to the mill across the way that was torn down. A real good history lesson on Greenwood combined with wonderful food!

If Greenwood ever gets a grungy-chic arts district, it will be on Maxwell street. Where appearance comes in a close second only to raw space, Maxwell will be will be prime real-estate. The proprietors of Milhouse got something right by nestling into one of the continuous brick-facades of vacant warehouses that make up our own Arts district. Actually, they've done a lot of things right. In a city that has more restaurants per capita that stoplights, appearance does matter. There needs to be something to set itself apart from the rest, and the dimly-lit but cavernous pub feel is going to be their shtick. It's not a huge place, but tall with a large bar (that perhaps, cuts into the seating area just a tad); indeed the proportions here give this cozy closet a deceptively deep appearance. But let's talk about what matters--the food, and why I'm only giving three stars. The fair is decent, but I'm afraid it doesn't really live up to the price (again, we're coming back to the appearance of high end versus being high end). I had the Hamburger pizza, which was fun. But it was pretty small, about the size of a personal pizza by my eyes, but then I'm a professional. The beer. They have beer. This is good. Millhouse has a pretty decent selection (decent being more than Budweiser, Coors, and Natty Ice in this area), good domestic micro-brews like Sam Adams and Magic Hat. This is also good. But it's really nothing surprising. Perhaps I'm asking for too much, but if you're going to be new and novel, then why not go for gold? It's obvious that Millhouse is targeted towards a younger crowd, it's not just about the food it's about the experience and over all, that experience is pretty good. If it can't be a premier pizza and beer joint, then at least let it be the road map to where we can be in this small town.

One of my favorite haunts in Greenwood. Wonderful atmosphere and an extensive beer selection. I like the Fungus Amungus pizza.
(5)Chad C.
This place has nothing to offer regarding good food! Nothing more than a bar that masquerades itself as a fancy pizza joint. Pizza is very pricey and very small. If you want a wide selection of beers visit. If you want a good pizza call Papa John's.

I quickly researched this gem on Google, as we were taking a road trip through this area and were going to want pizza for dinner. There are many Pizza Huts to choose from, but this place has a wood fired brick oven and the most generous ingredients, in volume as well as freshness. We ordered two pies from the road, about 25 minutes from the restaurant. It was a Friday night, about 5pm, and rolled up on the Mill House easily. There's street parking outside, and it was easy to find in a cute little downtown area. The pizzas we ordered were ready and waiting for us when I walked in. The staff was very friendly and pleasantly surprised when I told them I came all the way from NC to get their pizza! I got a Veg Out pizza, and the Margherita pizza. Each one was supposed to be a "personal" size. But was plenty big enough that we had leftovers. The crust was out of this world perfect... crusty on the outside, chewy on the inside. Flecked with blackened sparks from a real fire, the pizza was absolute perfection! The best pizza I've ever had in my whole life was at Grimaldi's in Brooklyn, and I have to say that this pizza rates right up there. The jalapeños were surprisingly hot, by the way. The spiciness gave us a bit of an adrenaline high on the road, and we had a great time fanning our mouths while trying to sing along to our radio! Thank you, Mill House, for the great experience!

I ordered the hot ham and swiss and it had to be the blandest (albeit, it was warm at least) sandwich. The coleslaw has anchovies and IMO didn't go well in with the rest of the coleslaw ingredients. Wait staff is pleasant enough, so at least no issues there.

Decent pizza, good beer selection

Nice people and good service. Great beer selection and the sandwichs and salads are very tasty.
