Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Absolutely top notch pizza! Get it your way, anyway, or off their menu - you can't go wrong. They have a youthful and friendly staff. Aside from great pizza, they have one of the best desert choices available --- gelato!!! This is a fun and casual place that has great pizza and gelato. Great place to grab lunch or a quick dinner.

Amazing amazing holy amazing!! :-) definitely a must have again and again. This is the best place I've had since moving to Greenville hands down. I had the peach and prosciutto pie with a nice cold local ipa. Perfect combination and gelato to finish it off. I will definitely be a regular here! :-) :-) :-)

CELIAC FRIENDLY!! Fresh, fast, variety . . . Large menu , large beer selection, gelato area. $7 for the BBQ Chicken pie. Great find!

Really good pizza. Set up is neat.....it's like Subway for pizza. Reasonable prices. Gelato bar is outstanding. I will be a repeat customer.

If you have not tried this place you need to. Same basic concept as Moe's and Subway. You walk up to the counter, select your crust type and then follow your crust down the assembly line as you select your sauce, cheeses, veggies and meats. The selections are numerous making the combinations vast and only limited by your imagination. Once assembled you take a seat while your pie cooks. Very fresh and very good. You can either select one of thief special pizzas or build your own.....bonus, they have beer too. I have been several times and have had only positive experiences.

I have ordered take-out from 864togo.com twice from this place and been disappointed both times. The last time was my last time. I've never had such heartburn and indigestion. The marinara is very salty and the pizza never arrives hot. When you order basil, you get a few thin ribbons and the mozzarella is skimpy. The Italian sausage was greasy. I stayed up late dealing with it.

The varieties are interesting. We enjoyed the selections we picked. It was a bit pricey for the sizes. It was fresh made but it needed more sauce. We ordered the lineage and southern heat and were satisfied but it wasn't anything special. Each pizza was an individual so it is not meant to be shared.

Good stuff, we went on a Sunday and they had kids eat free. Under $20 for us to split a pizza and a big salad, plus two kids meals and we each got a scoop of gelato. Food was delicious and service was great.

I was pretty happy with this little spot. I bought a Living Social deal after seeing fairly good reviews here. We ordered three pies for our family. I loved the Southern Heat with blue cheese and ate every morsel. I offered my husband a piece and was truly glad when he said no thanks. :o) The staff was super attentive. They have lots of specials going on- a discount on Yelp when you check in, kids eat free on Tuesday and the Living Social promo. They must be trying to increase business. After last night's dinner, I will definitely go back.

For $8.00 bucks I got a pizza that I created myself. Thin crust, crunchy vegetables with or without whatever. Brick oven pizza is my favorite. Fast service. Clean. Friendly. Craft beer on tap. TVs to watch the game. The only negative is the location - woodruff road beside walmart-but still worth it!

We are from Athens And so were excited to find a Your Pie in Greenville. The location was convenient and the store was cozy and clean. For those who haven't tried it, the concept is authentic, individually customized, brick oven pizza. They have about 50 different fresh ingredients and the best doughs and sauces anywhere. It's the best pizza I've ever had and the Greenville location is just as great as we were expecting. The service was energetic, fast and friendly. Again it was just what we were used to. So to the YP managers and employees, thank you. For those of you who haven't tried it, you should. It's great pizza, with great service, at a great price.

My experiences here is a Yelpers dream come true. I wanted to buy pizza dough and all the local grocery stores ran out. I figured a pizza place should be able to sell me some, right? I spoke with a man who had to be a manager if not the owner who was genuinely interested in having a great business. He wanted to know how I found the place and made it clear that he wanted to accommodate customers. They had three options for dough (white, whole wheat, and gluten free). They recommended whole wheat and it cooked up really nice and was delicious!!! I will have to go back for a whole pizza from them. I guess I overlooked that this was individual sized $2.25 got me a real small amount of dough, but again, it came out great! At the register there is a gelato station and I couldn't turn it down. I paid $2 for a small and it was just as good as the rest of my experience.

Pizza was very good and fast. My family is a big fan of brick oven pizza and the food was fresh. We stopped on our way home from vacation and was glad to hear there is a location near Atlanta. I would recommend anyone looking for a quick bite to check it out.

Awful customer service and manager is completely clueless and incompetent. Manager needs to understand that he can't jump on customers in front of their kids.

Great concept- you can make your pizza exactly how you like it. The ingredients are fresh and the service is friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Probably my new favorite pizza place. I love the option of creating your own pizza here. They have a ton of ingredients to choose from. I'm partial to the sun dried tomato sauce as a base with some of the different fresh ingredients. They let me sample the sauce before I chose, which helped a lot. By the time you pick your ingredients, pay, and get your drink, your pizza is pretty much ready to go. The staff is very quick and helpful. Great place to take your family and have your own personal pizza made in about 5 minutes or less.

Admittedly, when it comes to restaurants, I am typically a person of habit. If I find 2-3 places that I like, I will visit again and again and,. well, you know what I'm saying. I've been working lately to branch out, experiment, and you know, just be more adventuresome. As a part of this strategy, I have ventured into some interesting and very good spots over the past few weeks. Last night in the Carolina's, we wanted something quick and satisfying. We ended up at Your Pie on Woodruff Rd. Your Pie specializes in Pizza, Calzones, salads and the like. We chose the pizza. The concept is pretty interesting. You pick your bread, the natural cheese and any or all of the many fresh ingredients. Premium ingredients are about .50 cent each additional. First, you watch the dough being prepared, flipped, floured, etc. The next step is the selection of toppings. There must be 25 or more toppings to view and choose from as you progress down the line. The pizza is then placed in a brick oven as you watch. We paid the cashier, took a seat and tuned in to the French Open on one of the several TVs. The pizza was delivered to our table in about 5-6 minutes. I like this. You see the preparation of the dough, select the toppings, adding as much or as little as you like. One can easily go overboard on the toppings. But, you are in control. The whole wheat 10 inch pizzas were thin crusted, cooked to perfection and delicious! You can't ask for more for the price paid. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was sparkling clean and the turnaround time is faster than any pizza place I've visited. I noted that Your Pie has some 15 or 16 restaurant locations. If you are in proximity, give it a try. It's a small price for a really good pizza. Once I kick this "adventure" quest, Your Pie will be be added to my extensive list of 2-3 favorite restaurants.

This is a great concept and very quick. The pizza was prepared and ready by the time we ordered and paid for it. The taste was good while the atmosphere and service were great. This is a great place for lunch to get in and out.

On my first time in to this quaint pizza place, I was really impressed with the food. My pizza was very good and my husband had a meatball panini that I stole a bite of and it was great too. Very happy to have them in the Woodruff Rd. area!

I'm not sure what people expect for $6.50? A four course meal? My wife and I ate dinner here for under $20 with pizzas and drinks, most restaurants would be $30+(including another sit-down pizza restaurant closer to I-85). The pizzas are hand-tossed artisan style, don't expect a typical delivery chain pizza. The staff is friendly and very informative. We will be visiting Your Pie on a regular basis.

I rarely give a superior rating to any restaurant - however, this establishment hits all the marks. Your Pie's pizza is perhaps the best VALUE in Greenville. For about $7 (+tax), one gets a personal 10 inch pizza, with unlimited fresh (vegetable) ingredients, and a protein. Ordering is much like Subway, but the ingredients are extremely fresh (no canned mushrooms here like Frodo's, etc). They utilize a gas-fired brick oven to cook the pizzas - nice. YP delivers a relatively thin crust, with a great end, and thoroughly cooked pie. I can't tell you how many pizza places in Greenville rush the cooking process and deliver a half-baked/uncooked-center pie (looking at you Barley's). This is a small chain out of Athens, GA - everyone needs to support this place - friendly/helpful employees. I'd give this place 4 1/2 stars (if I could) only because of its location. I hate Woodruff Road with miles and miles of nondescript/ugly strip centers - YP would do great on Augusta or downtown Greenville.

As a recent Atlanta transplant, I never lacked a good pizza place. So i was a little curious as to what i would find in greenville. i tried Happy Pie [which made me not happy] and then we stopped at Your Pie one day. We had a great experience with the informative and efficient employees and there was a good selection of beer and gelato. The staff were polite and helpful so we went back. We had the same cool experience. And the pizza tastes pretty good too. Check out the pizza oven!

The concept of this restaurant is great. Everybody gets their own personal 10 inch pizza with whatever toppings you want. I chose the "Southern Heat." Hot sauce, chicken, mozzarella with blue cheese dressing on the side. My wife was not as adventurous, she got a basic pizza with meatballs. Their execution of the pizzas was poor. Both my wife and I thought the bottom of the crust was burnt. It left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth for most of the afternoon. It was overpriced for what we got. Even with a $3.50 our total was still almost $15. Won't be going back.

What a cool place! Fresh, made-to-order pizza in a Moe's style setup. Every pizza is the same size, and is made right in front of you. You get to pick the cheese and toppings, and watch the team make your dinner. We eat here with different friends about once a week. Every new friend we bring is always impressed. Great casual place for groups and kids, too. Staff are friendly and eager to please. Parking is free in their private lot. Location is right on Woodruff, close to Wal-Mart. Service is fast - they bring your pizza right to your table after it comes out of the wood fired oven. They also have several TV's playing all of the big games. They also have combo's that include gelato! Insider tip: Go on Tuesdays. Pizza + One Premium Topping + Drink = $6.99. You can also buy a $25 gift card, and they load it up for $30. Nothing like getting free food. Would highly recommend if you are interested in fresh, made-to-order pizza.
