If you haven't been here, you're missing out. Pork chops were excellent. Had the prime rib sandwich previously and it's really good too.

I just tried the choose two option with a pork chop and chicken tenders. I read some reviews on here talking about both, so I got the best of both worlds. Talk about AMAZING! The pork chop was cooked perfectly over a wood fire with a nice smokey taste. The chicken tenders are fried with not too much flavor but the sauce that comes on the side makes up for it. Baked potato was my side choice. I also added a side salad with the vinaigrette which was also very tasty. I am here with work every 6mos and will be back to this place to try something new. Or maybe not. That was so good, I'll probably have it again. I actually called 2 people to tell them how good that pork chop tasted from the wood fired grill. The Sam Adams Cold Snap was a nice treat as well.

Rafferty's never fails to serve the best nachos. I had my usual 1/2 order of supreme nachos with extra jalepinos. Most tasty. I opted for a draft beer rather than coffee this time. Less than $3 for an adult beverage is always keen in my book. Great service, and our table was visited by the manager - checking on our service and food choices. The restaurant was especially quiet during my visit - that was nice in that everyone at the table could talk without hollering.

I have been here for lunch twice while in Greenville, SC! It's a classic chain restaurant with big servings and good price. Beer selection is pretty straight forward, your classic Miller life, Yuengling and Sam Adams seasonal. Their salad options are vast and their burgers are very good as well!

I am a regular at Rafferty's. Their buffalo chicken strips are really tasty! Great flavor with a little heat. The mash potatoes are very yummy as well as the ribs. My husband gets the filet Mignon. I have tried all the entrees and have been very pleased!

I'm a big fan of this place, I have never had a bad experience. The sauce with the chicken fingers are great and so are the chicken fingers. This visit I had the pork chops and they were amazing! Come with some chipotle butter melting on top. Very tender and juicy

Work lunch today. The sandwiches were fantastic but the fries almost ruined my meal. Service was bland. I dropped them down half a star because I feel drinks & fries shouldn't add 75% to your tab. Get the over priced sad fries added to the cost of the meal & I'll be back readily....otherwise I may head down the street to another option.

Rafferty's is great. The bar has great, fast service. The food is good, I recommend the Prime Rib. The wings are the best in town, better than Wild Wings or Buffalo.

I've been to this place enough times to be completely beyond using the phrase "Giving them the benefit of the doubt." The only time we go is when we are with a group and this is their choice. Long story short, the service suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuÂuucks!!!!! With that said... My wife and I went there for lunch today with my father and grandparents (Their choice). I can't complain about the food. It actually is really good. However, the waiters and waitresses are always terrible. They are inattentive and forgetful. And that's if you can even find them. First problem: We ordered drinks. 3 were brought by one server. However, it took nearly 15 minutes for the other 2 waters to come to the table. 2nd: When the salads finally came, they had the wrong salad dressings so the waitress said she'd get the correct dressings out asap, as well as my wife's bowl of soup that was missing. 10 minutes later, I'm still waiting. i went to the restroom. Then as I was coming back, I passed the kitchen, saw the waitress look at me with big (oh crap I forgot) eyes, and I heard her yell out, "I need blue cheese dressing and a bowl of potato soup. Coincidentally, everything that was missing from our table. When I got back to the table, the missing items still hadn't arrived. It took another couple minutes to get there. I can understand an elaborate meal taking a long, but a bowl of soup and a serving of salad dressing taking over 15 minutes is uncalled for. 3rd: Is it so difficult to keep my drink filled up? 4th: The managers ask how everything is, but they do nothing to correct the problems that you bring to their attention. 5th: If the server never returns to pick up payment within a certain time frame, I think the meal should be free because clearly they don't want your money in the first place. We finally had to flag down a different waiter so that the payment could be processes. 6th: I am usually a very understanding person, but when the restaurant is nearly empty, nothing should take as long it did to 1) Get our orders taken and 2) Get our food.

I have been to Rafferty's several times and it is good basic fare, but I can't say there is anything (so far) that blows me away. The salads may be the closest I come to a favorite. The food is fine but not memorable. The staff are good, but not great. The seats by the windows are often cold in the summer because of the air conditioning vents and in the winter because of the windows, so I try to avoid sitting there. It is can be noisy, so it is hard to have agood business conversation.

After sending in a complaint to Rafferty's following our first visit, I received a call first from the Assistant Manager and then from the General Manager. Because I was working, I was not able to take the first call, but then spoke the following day to Tony Harmon, the General Manager. He was most apologetic for the bad experience the previous Thursday evening. As I said in my first review, we thought the service and food was very good, It was the very loud guest beside us that made for an unpleasant experience. A few days after the call, we received a very nice letter of apology from Mr. Harmon. Included were cards for two free entrees. This evening we were able to use the cards and had a very nice dinner. We both had the rib-eyed steak, salads and baked sweet potatoes. We topped the meal off with their apple walnut dessert. We asked to be seated again in Lauren's section, so the service was wonderful. The meal itself was very good. I learned for the next time to ask for a medium done steak. Normally I like medium rare, but their medium rare was a little too rare for me. However that was not their fault. It was no ones. I'll just know for next time and yes there will be a next time.

Hungry after shopping at the mall? Please just keep on driving... Think late afternoon, Saturday, maybe have a few beers and hang out and have some food... you should place a bet that you will be disappointed. After hearing the food was "gooooood" (please add the accent in your head) we decided to give this place a try... The first thing that struck us was the dark bar interior...in contrast to the 1980's décor main dining room, maybe it wasn't so bad...we figured our seats would at least be entertaining as they looked out over the main room...Well, the one thing we did notice was the lack of customers...there were a few families here and there, and of course the bar had the obligatory family in the bar...what bar in Greenville is complete with kids? Sheesh...anyways... Our server showed up...finally...got us our beer and gave us menus...Okay...pretty much standard chain fare with some interesting names...I selected the "Good Ol' Boy Cheese Fries"...and my husband, having found a love for shrimp and grits on a trip to Charleston, was happy to see shrimp and grits. We should have know something was awry when the server was inquiring if he would like one grit cake or two...he decided to just roll with it when our server provided a shady explanation of the grit cake. Guess what...the grit cake was exactly that...pretty much a hard lump of grits...and the Good Ol' Boy...Let's just say he wasn't so good. About an hour later both of us suffered a great deal of stomach discomfort...so much so that the terms "Good Ol' Boy and Grit Cake" are now used to describe how bad something actually is...with those being the worst ratings EVER. Stay home and lick the bottom of the oven...you just might be able to find out what the bacon on the "Good Ol' Boy" tasted like...

Consistently good food. Reasonably priced. Rustic family type setting. Nice bar. They serve baked sweet potatoes, which not many places do. Steaks are great. Burgers too! I've never had a bad meal there!!!
