AVOID THE BURRITOS. Their prices are good, but the last few times I have eaten here seem to consistently have created gastronomic distress. Not just for me, but my friends too. It appears the burritos are the dominant culprit, but the quality has really gone downhill since their original opening. I've had other people mention the same issues. Nobody can quite put the finger on the problem, but given the large number of options available in the area, I will be going elsewhere in the future. I was once a big fan, but no longer. My stomach can't risk it.

Decent food, massive beers, amazing fresh made guacamole but horribly slow service, not very attentive and not a very good mole' sauce

  • Trina M.

This used to be so much better. It's just seemed like the quality of the food has really gone down in the past few months. Not nearly as good as before. Service is really hit or miss. Many servers hardly speak English and some don't understand what's available on the menu. Sometimes the seating is very strange, they will have a server with tables all around the restaurant. If that happens, the servers in the area will ignore you. Don't understand why at all. Be careful if you are dining alone. They turn over the tables quickly. Twice I have had food on the table, went to the bathroom and come back to a cleared table. Both times staff was friendly about it, one time I was done, the other I just had chips and salsa. Seems like a problem with communication.

Really enjoyed my fajitas. Splurge and get the guacamole dip, it's worth it. I had one of the drinks, which was on special, it was good and the price was perfect. It is a bit noisy, but in a fun way. Even with the restaurant being busy, our server was very attentive.

After a looooong, wet dash from the car (sans umbrella) in the pouring rain, my first impression of Papas and Beer was that it was heavenly (and dry!!). My friend had already gotten a spacious booth, so promptness of being seated wasn't even an issue. We were quickly served with water and were asked for our food orders shortly thereafter. I got the homemade (?) quesadillas, which were as good as could have been expected. Everyone else at my table was similarly satisfied with their dishes. The salsa bar and complimentary bean dip that is served with the chips are nice touches to an otherwise basic Mexican restaurant. The decor was novel, however, with decoupaged photographs on the walls and texturized, colorful paints. Our waitress was particularly nice and seemed genuinely interested in conversation (we all had the thought that perhaps she was trying to practice her English). All in all, viva Papas and Beer! I would definitely come here again, but wouldn't necessarily seek it out.

Fantastic food, the best guacamole anywhere. Slow service and horrible atmosphere. Highly recommend takeout especially if you have kids. ***update*** I have now eaten there 3 times, the first time was the experience I mentioned above, the second visit was not much better, a bit slower so not as loud, but still too much for my almost 2 year old and we noticed dust on some of the decorations. Visit three went a little better, the place was almost empty and not too bad on the noise level; however our visit was cut short by an extensive temper tantrum from my daughter, who simply wanted to dance in the booth instead of eating or allowing anyone else to eat. She even knocked our sweet teas on the floor and actually shattered one of the plastic cups into a half dozen or so pieces. It did not help that it took over 35 minutes to get food at our table (other than the guacamole, still love that stuff! only way to improve it would be a bit of sea salt.) We ended up taking it home anyway. All three times the food was good and our order was correct, food arrived around 30-45 minutes after we ordered, as if they had it timed out to allow someone to drink several rounds of alcohol before they got their food... and all three times the wait staff was very ambivalent about everything. I would like to add the salsa bar is very cool and is filled with very different salsas, including avocado (basically blended avocado mixed with water) two pumpkin salsas, which would be cool if they were not BOTH hot salsa... Oh, and they server chips with a medium pinto bean dip, not salsa.

Why is this soooo good? The salsa bar is unrivaled. I love the green salsa and both the creamy pumpkin salsas are to die for. Really. I would buy these by the gallon if I could. The steak salad was yummy and the steak tender and rare, as requested. The cheese enchiladas in the green sauce and wonderful and so yummy. The staff is nice and accommodating. So cheap and SO delicious.

Okay "industrial" Mexican It's good for what it is: typical American mass produced "Mexican" food. High in salt and seasoning. The asada taco meat was chewy and tough; the guac was on its way to brown; the service was dismal and them place was loud. But if you feel like doffing your sombrero and eating salsa, this would be the place

Great food, large portion sizes and friendly staff. The drinks were kind of weak, but aside from that it was pretty good!

I've been here a bunch, and I absolutely adore it. They send servers around just often enough to make sure I have enough beer (heheh) and the servings are definitely enough to fill anyone up. I haven't had anything here I don't like -- and their spicy fajitas are fabulous. It's a little different here than most Mexican places, which is great: lots of veggies, large, full plates of good, homemade food; there's a freshness to it I don't think a lot of other Mexican-style joints adhere to other than Papas. I've been going there off and on since 2009, and I've never been disappointed. I've read that the service has gone down, but it's never happened to me. It's a low-key type of place, and I've found I don't need a lot of attention there. Also, the salsa bar is to die for. I love that stuff. I don't know why I order entrees, sometimes (kidding! I love their entrees!)

Very Good. Table side guacamole is good. The salsa bar is ok. Customer service is great and the menu is varied. Fun, good food, and bargain beer prices for happy hour.

Fantastic Food if you dine in. Portions are epic. Avocado salad is just amazing. I wish their salsa bar was a bit better. If you order for pick up the food is no where near on par as if you were dining in. I know its like that at most places but it was quite disappointing here.

I was looking for a good Mexican place to eat while in Greenville for business. This place is not it! The Mexican rice was not seasoned and very bland. My beef soft tacos didn't even have lettuce or cheese in them. I was highly disappointed. Also, it was very expensive for being a Mexican restaurant.

  • Michael M.

Burritos, tacos, and well everything is incredible. Plus the pricing is good for the amount of food you get which is a lot! Best Mexican food for the money in town.

Damn you Papas!!! Damn you Beer!!! Stop opening all over SC and make your way to NC (Specifically Charlotte). Until then I will enjoy your baja burritos and salsa bars while visiting my favorite people and places in SC (have been to the Asheville and Anderson locaiton as well). PS- Send pumpkin salsa to me ASAP. Thank you.

I first visited P&B in 2012 and liked it immediately. There is usually a line to get in but there are chairs and tables on their large porch and it's actually very pleasant when the weather is nice. Inside the atmosphere is lively and fun. There is a ton of room and the place is usually packed with families and groups. A couple of TVs play Spanish channels. The food might not be the most authentic Mexican you've ever had, but it is very good. To start off, order the Table-side Guacamole. Your waiter makes it fresh right in front of you and it is delicious. I really like the bean dip they bring with the chips and the chips by themselves are very good. They have a salsa bar by the entrance which boasts a lot of varieties of salsa but they can be easily cross-contaminated. The waiters and servers are attentive and helpful.

Dude, even for lunch you get these humongous burritos...stuffed like nothing else it is hard to survive the afternoon in the office...

My fellow humans. I found it, it's here... this is heaven. the salsa bar had 6 pots of amazingness made by the hands of angels. I ordered a fajita burrito and my wife had a combo with taco and enchiladas. with every bite it felt like I could feel the face of God shining down on me. We're from out of town and went here based on yelp and google reviews. Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and as above, amazing food. if you love Mexican, GO EAT HERE

Great food! I had the organic burrito in a spinach tortilla. Very impressed. Lots of fresh vegetables inside- all were cooked to perfection. Wasn't expecting so much yumminess for the price! The free chips and bean dip were great too.

Craptastic. The best thing-cheap margaritas. They had meat that I wouldn't even feed to my dog. Sadly, I would not go back.

This USED to be the place my family went for decent Mexican. The food and service has always been consistently good (we've been here around 20 times). NO MORE! Sometime in the last two weeks (which is when we last visited), the entire attitude of the staff has changed. The litany follows: (1) they tried to seat us, 3 adults and 2 children, in a small booth in the back even though the restaurant was 80% empty and gave serious attitude (EYE ROLLS) when we asked to switch to a more spacious booth; (2) they served chip crumbles from the bottom of the barrel, each being the size of a quarter; (3) the brought my steak fajita out charred beyond all recognition and then reported "that's how we make it"; (4) they brought the tortillas for the fajitas out 15 minutes before the actual meal, so that they were cold and hard by the time the meal came, but charged me EXTRA to get fresh ones; (5) every request for utensils, napkins, refills, required 3 requests. A lifetime boycott is in order.

Great food and atmosphere! Only down side is that the service is a little spotty :(. Still have to give it 4 stars because the food is awesome!

    (4)
  • John C.

Very loud so good for groups and kids. Salsa bar is unique but the bean dip served with the chips and the Mexican beer on tap is what sets Papas & Beer apart from all the other Mexican places. I had the shaved beef soft tacos which were a little dry but otherwise satisfying.

  • Karla S.

Wow went for lunch short on time ordered lunch fajitas. HUGE portion lots of tender chicken great food and it was crazy fast. Love the salsa bar and chips. Guacamole was fresh and delicious. Service made a mistake on my order and didn't rush to correct it but overall the waitress was quick which is what I needed. Food was very reasonable in price and a great Mexican restaurant.

We dropped in before evening hours for our Cinco de Mayo fix. The server prepared tableside guacamole for us that was great and the food was delivered soon thereafter. They were already seriously busy and there were people lined up out the door when we left. This is our first choice for Mexican food.

  • A C.

This place has the feel and party restaurant and perhaps it is. Better-than-average Mexican food. They offer all the normal menu items (burritos, tacos, etc) and a pretty good guacamole. Friendly staff though not all speak good English but give no indication so be careful they get your order right.

  • Amy R.

Strongly recommend the Jose Cuervos Fajitas, but share our be sure you are starving! The single serving is massive, I'm sure the one for two would feed a whole family!

The environment is pleasant and clean. Service is swift and they provide an extensive menu of many excellent choices. I highly recommend the sizzling fajitas.

Try the tortilla chicken soup! It is yummy and enough to make it a meal. Filled with lots of chicken, avocado, rice, carrots, potato & zucchini in a big huge bowl...im addicted and everything in it is good for you - I would consider this as healthy as it gets for Mexican food. Yum Yum Yum in the Tum Tum!

Great food and the salsa bar is a smart touch. We've taken out of town guests here on several occasions and they've loved it. I'm a big fan of the California burrito- delicious.

Papa's and Beer completely exceeded all of my expectations. I have been in Greenville for about three weeks now, and gone out every night for dinner- this place blew everything else out of the water. The food was so fresh and delicious. The salsa from the salsa bar was awesome. My husband couldn't help but say, "This is delicious-" after every bite of his fajita burrito. Definitely somewhere to check out!!

Traveling in Greenville on business and wanted to skip the chain restaurants near Haywood Mall. The reviews for this Paps and Beer - especially the salsa bar - were intriguing. The restaurant was busy on a Sunday night - I was greeted quickly and received both my drink order and food order rather quickly. The salsa bar was as delicious as the other reviews, but definitely try the bean dip they serve with the chips - outstanding! I had the Camarones a la Diabla - when I usually order this dish, the sauce is a bit greasy and the chef is trying to see how hot they can make it. I like heat, but this place served it with a different spin on the sauce and it was excellent - even had zucchini slices in addition to the expected green peppers and onions. My beer was cold, the food was spicy enough and very fresh tasting - will definitely come here again!

Salsa bar is a plus but the food and service left a little to be desired.

  • Gehre M.

The tableside guacamole was outstanding. The food was very good. The service was a bit slow. We went there on a Saturday right after the lunch rush, so there were enough booths. When I wanted a booth towards the front, the hostess rolled her eyes. And I speak fluent Spanish and asked her if there was a problem. She was a bit taken back that I spoke to her in Spanish. The food tastes authentic which is not typical in Greenville. The menu choices are great, the portions are large and I would recommend it!

    (3)
  • Tim S.

I give it 4 stars for originality and variety. They are NOT like every other Mex restaurant where you can order the exact same thing with the exact same menu, like a #1 is a speedy gonzales. Has a good variety of food on the menu and great options on the salsa bar. not to mention a solid margarita. I had the sizzling enchiladas and the wife had fajitas and I can say neither were dissapointed. Check it out for yourself, but I will be going back.

  • Britt S.

Great burritos! Huge portions at great prices. We love the salsa bar. The food always tastes super fresh and the flavors are outstanding. My favorite is the burrito organico. I can typically make two meals out of one of their entrees.

Atmosphere: My first rule, If I can't find a place to park I usually don't eat somewhere. Having said that I usually don't come here on Friday and Saturday night. Every other time I've been here I have never waited more than 5-10min for a table. The restaurant is big with booths, tables, and a nice bar. It's all decked out with photos of Frida Kahlo, Pancho Villa, and other black and white photos from the Mexican revolution. Pretty cool. Having said that, the restroom was one of the most horrific temples to filth and disgustingness I have ever seen. After a few seconds in the restroom I scrubbed my hands with as much squeeze soap as I could find and tried not to touch anything on the way out. Aside from that, If you want a nice quiet, romantic, conversation dinner.... this is not your place. It is loud. Service: As I said before, I try not to go on prime time nights, but, when I do go the service is usually pretty good. Always quick with a basket of chips or a beer refill. Not as fast as other places but by no means slow. Worst we had was to ask for silverware and a reminder for the queso dip order we made. (Not bad, btw) Food: Ah... The saving grace. Burritos are large and very good. I'm a fan of the Burrito Organico (veggie burrito). Fish tacos are really delicious. Chicken chimichanga are cooked to perfection! (Never a soggy chimichanga) The salsa bar is awesome, too! (However, Being a germ-a-phobe and seeing the bathroom I chose NOT to get the SELF-SERVE salsa. It's not worth Montezuma's revenge.) Bottom Line: If the food wasn't so freakin' good I would find another place to go. So, Take your bottle of Purell and order a large Dos Equis and have a good time.

The food here is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything is always fresh and the lunch prices are unbelievable. You can't beat the salsa bar either it's something very different than most other Mexican places.

I first visited Papas & Beer on Tunnel Road in Asheville and it was stellar! When Papas & Beer opened on Haywood road, I was ecstatic. I've now been twice with friends and each time, I can't break myself away from the Avocado Burrito. Everything else on the menu looks fantastic. I just can't pull myself away from the Avocado burrito. The reason for the 3 star ranking is that the service was terrible. I ordered a margarita and after 20 minutes, I found my waitress. I asked her where the margarita was and she looked at me with a blank stare. Finally, another member of the wait staff brought my drink. We then had issues with our food order that eventually were resolved. I love the concept of Papas & Beer with their excellent food and salsa bar! I just think they need to work on their wait staff. I know many people who would walk out on service that's so miserable.

What a GREAT find! My friend had been raving about the one in Asheville, so when I found out P & B had opened in this area I had to give it a try. Granted the exterior is pretty "blah" but once you're inside and enjoying a margarita with their incredible homemade guacamole, who cares what the place looks like on the outside. The restaurant has a spacious open area with tables in the middle and booths all around the perimeter. I recommend sitting in one of the booths on the bar side - you'll feel like you're in your own private cabana with the little canopy and paper streamers. Getting back to the guacamole for a sec...this stuff is absolutely the best I've ever had in a restaurant. So fresh, and they prove it by literally bringing the ingredients to your table and making it right there in front of you. I could really fill up on that and skip the meal altogether, the guac is just so darn good (hint: I add extra lime & salt to mine). As far as meals go, I've had the chicken fajitas and chicken enchiladas, both of which were muy bien! At Papa's & Beer, you're guaranteed a fresh, tasty Mexican feast and an all around good time. ¡Olé!

  • Laura M.

Still good food (sizzling enchiladas are my favorite), but I have to say the service seems to have gone downhill. I understand it's a busy restaurant. It seems as though there is a sizeable staff which makes it even more confusing as to why the service is sooo SLOW. That said, huge portions of good food... worth the wait on the slow service.

Tableside guacamole is the bomb!! Papa's & Beer is a pleasant change from the influx of frozen Mexican crap restaurants in the area.

Usually I would give this place 5 stars, but we came again for the fourth time tonight (we made a special trip just for this place from Spartanburg) and it was not that great. The food came out and my entree was cold and not prepared the way the menu stated, or how it was the last three times I ordered it. My husband ordered fajitas that were supposed to be spicy and requested the hotter chipotle sauce with them. They tasted like there was hardly any spice on them at all, and were not spicy in the least bit, but luckily his was hot. The place was crazy busy so I am understanding that they were making food really quickly and the servers had a lot to do, but our server was not very nice and when I told him my food was cold and wrong he stared at me and I eventually had to ask can you please heat this up or something? Luckily they brought me a new order and it was warmer, but still not hot, at least it was correct this time. All in all I would say it was okay but you are better of coming on a day when they aren't that busy, it's WAY better.

I always have a good experience at Papas and Beer. The entrées are fresh and the table side guacamole is delicious. There is a wait on the weekends, but most places in this city have a wait on the weekends. Much better Mexican food that many places in Greenville County.

Best Mexican in town by a mile!!! Carnitas are to die for - love the salsa bar... Originally found this place near LA, and was so glad to know we had one of our very own in Greenville! We've never had a disappointing meal. Thanks Papa!

  • Julia L.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! And you can't go wrong with the self-serve salsa bar and cheap extra-large dos equis. Being a California native, my husband and I finally found a place that we can go when we are craving some Mexican like it is made at home =) Friendly service and amazing food in a casual, laid-back atmosphere. Don't expect anything fancy - just deliciousness in a casual environment.

Great food and service!! They have a smaller place in Simpsonville that is also very good.

Good Mexican food ftw! Affordable and the quantity is ridiculous (in a good way). Service is awesome and the food is delicious. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. Go if you like mexican.

i went here the other night after getting off work late for a drink and a bite to eat. I met my boyfriend there and we sat outside. Our waiter was pretty bad and not very helpful with figuring out the very extensive menu or with serving drinks. The dip and chips were a pleasant change from my regular monterrey. I did not go inside to the salsa bar but have heard great things about it. I had a margarita and it hit the spot nicely but after working all day and getting off late anything would have. The food we got was good. To be honest though I have NO idea what I ordered. I had a hard time following the menu and felt that terrible pressure to hurry up and order that some waiters give you. But whatever I got was really good and so was my boyfriend's. I will try this spot again and pray that the service gets MUCH better!!!!

So...for lunch, the prices are amazing. I'm told they triple around dinner. But two of us left insanely full for $12!!! I enjoyed the salsa bar. For those who say there is no hot sauce....ask for some. We asked our server for a hotter salsa and he immediately went and got us something with some serious HEAT. Yum. I had the chicken tamale....it was decent. Probably should have ordered it beef. We also had spicy green enchiladas....those were pretty tasty, but had zero spice. Honestly, I'm only coming back for the salsa bar and those amazing lunch prices. Can't be beat. Not really traditional....but I knew that as soon as I sat down and saw a Mexican inspired restaurant filled only with white people. Still....so many salsa flavors to pour all over my food keeps me wanting more.

  • Aaron C.

Cons: They don't have hot salsa, the rice was horrible, and the burrito made me sick and the waitress was awful. The first time I went it was good. This time I am paying the price of the bad burrito. Probably won't go again!

So I finally go to this place after hearing how great it is. Can't say it is the most amazing Mexican, Tex-Mex or Cali-Mex I have ever had but it wasn't bad. The bean dip they give you with the chips was good. Margaritta was decent (probably a mix though). I had a burrito that I liked a lot. My girlfriend had the enchiladas that were... well disgusting. I never know what to think about Greenville and Mexican restaurants. I see Taco Casa gets good reviews and it blows me away (think public school cafeteria). I would say 85% of the Mexican restaurants I go to I would not return to. The other 15% is Las Meras Tortas (for authentic) and Puerto Vallarta (for everything else and convenience) are good. Papas & Beer just barely fall into the category of not worth returning to. Oh well.

Nothing to complain about here. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. We went to luch with another couple, who had been there before, and started with tableside guacamole - they literally make it at the table. It sounds like a gimic, but the guacamole was fantastic. Instead of the ubiquitous runny salsa, the chips are served with a spicy bean dip. If you want salsa, you can hit the salsa bar and take your pick. Extensive menu, with the standard, lightning-fast food deliver that I love about mexican restaurants. The menu says "California style." Not sure what the distinction is; everything looks the same as what you get at places that purport to have authentic Mexican food.

  • Cara S.

The food has gotten better, but the service has gotten worse. If you seat me at an uneven table and then make me feel bad for asking to move- really? This has happened twice.

Had better in other states West of Miss. River, but definitely best Mex in Greenville. Chorizo taco, ask if not on menu, with onion and tomato along with fish taco and shrimp taco are our favorites. The standard Mex staples are a little boring for us. Wish they also served tongue and tripe tacos, but don't think it would go over well with the "gringos". Btw tongue and tripe tacos are served elsewhere in Greenville. Gotta love the huge mug (32 oz?) of dos exquis.

Love love love this place, great Mexican food and great prices!! Avocado burrito is my absolute favorite. The food tastes so fresh, and it's my top favorite Mex place in the area

My fiance went home with FOOD POISONING after our last visit. We have been there before and never had any problems, but after this experience we will not be going back. On the same trip the taquitos were served almost burnt, and my burrito didnt sit too well with my stomach.

I was here opening day, and have been going to Papas and Beer in Hendersonville and Asheville for the last year. I was so excited they were opening one in greenville.... However, their service at this one is beyond mediocre. Most of the wait staff that has trouble with english, will not listen to what you are ordering, leading to very uncomfortable wrong orders. It isn't like this is a one time thing either, I was so happy to take my friends and family to this restaurant, but out of the 20 times i've been here. 75% are with terrible waiters. Cinco de Mayo also had 2 bartenders and took over 70 minutes to order one beer. The food is awesome however (way better than Monterrey's/Corona) , and it is beyond cheap, it is just done better at their other locations, but I'm sure after a year, they will get better.

  • Nehal P.

Pros: Portions are large, service is speedy, entrees are reasonably priced, and there's a salsa bar! Cons: There is always a wait! Service was a little sketchy - the waitress didn't say much at all which makes me wonder if she was proficient in English. We did a call ahead but still had to wait 40minutes like everyone else. Had a shrimp burrito which was HUGE. Luckily I split it with J. The burrito was also stuffed with beans, rice, and avacados (which I really appreciated). It came with a side of spanish rice. Yum. However, one of my friends got an avacado burrito - avacado chunks were literally spilling out of her burrito. It was avacado overload for her. Beware. Would definitely go back.

Good food but the service has suffered since the first few weeks they were open. UPDATE: Just went today (10/19/11) and the food and service were great!

The food was fairly decent however after going to take my son to the restroom I was grossed out (BIG TIME)!!!!!!! Friday night 8:00 and the bathroom was NASTY and the young female manager basically said I don't know what to tell you. I won't go back!

Magnifico! The best Tex Mex food around here. Everything is very flavorful. The service is friendly, fast and consistent. The salsa bar is worth the trip alone.

What can I say ?, maybe the hype proceeded itself, I wasn't impressed , crowded and noisy, food was decent, service fair , not a fan of the germatopia salsa bar . Too many better choices for that side of town.

Favorite Mexican place in the upstate and one of the best in the US that I've been to; I've been to many other Mexican Restaurants in Tuscon, AZ, El Paso, TX, and San Antonio, TX, and Papa's and Beer is truly unique. First off, they had me with their spicy bean dip that comes out with the chips and $3 dos equis or blue moon. Second, the food is fantastic, authentic, HUGE portions, and better than your average local Coronas or Monterrey Mexican restaurants, for very reasonable prices. Fast and good service as would be expected at any true mexican restaurant. My wife and I always have enough for lunch the next day and never leave disappointed.

  • Nicholas C.

Holy Burrito! Never in my life have I seen such a large portion of food. definitely more than a normal human can consume solo. I also love the change of pace with chips and bean dip with a complimentary "salsa bar"; slightly varying from the norm.

    (4)
  • rob s.

.... I'm sold! Away with all the other generic Coronas and Monterreys that serve pretty much the same dishes between the two. I had some doubts when I first took a look at this place....but after looking at the menu and scarfing down the Mexicano Burrito, I oddly had a glimpse of my years in Tucson. Besides, that burrito can feed an entire family. More visits are planned and I'm ready to tackle on each plate served.

I've eaten here 6 times in the last 5 weeks. Solid menu choices and "Real Tamales" so that's a no brainer. A solid enhancement to the otherwise bland assortment of Mexican Restaurants in the Greenville area. They make fresh Guacamole at the table! Servers are very friendly and management is very concerned with customer satisfaction. Bean dip and salsa bar are nice to have also. The chicken used at Papas is grilled chicken with tons of flavor as opposed to bland shredded chicken at most places. It's a new favorite place to go.

    (4)
  • Royce R.

Authentic Cal-Mex food. I am Mexican from California and used to drive to Hendersonville frequently to eat here. It took a couple of months for the quality to get up to standard but now it's by far the best in the region.

Went up to Greenville for the weekend to see a baseball game and went to Papas and Beer on a Friday night for dinner. It was crowded but the wait wasn't long and we got 2 seats @ the bar. Beers were cheap and so were the Margaritas. The house Margarita was not that good though. They were pre-made and kinda of eh. The food was great though. I got some sort of fajita salad that they made at oour table and my fiancee got a combo. Everything was really good and we weren't feeling the affects the next day, if you know what I mean. Next time we're in Greenvile I would go back.

BEST Mexican restaurant ever! The food is fresh & delicious, the menu has much more variety than other places (though this is California style mexican, not the "typical" fare you find at local places). Favorites include the guacamole, fish tacos, fajitas, salads, chimichangas, chicken mole burrito and the "Burrito Organico"- stuffed w/ veggies & topped with a green molcajete sauce. Portions are enormous- unless you are a big eater you will likely have enough leftovers for a second meal. There are about 8 different offerings at the salsa bar- some are hot (and labeled as such) but there are several that are suitable for kids. I especially love the fiery "pumpkin" salsa but it packs a real punch. Important note: While they do have a lot of seating at this place, it is still often busy and you may have to wait a little on weekend nights, but the food is definitely worth it!

    (5)
  • Jessie K.

The portions were large, but I wasn't impressed. I choose my favorite Mexican restaurants MAINLY by the salsa, and I didn't like any of theirs. Also, don't get the fish fajitas. They were, well, fishy, and the fish burns too quickly on the fajita plate.

    (3)
  • Alan J.

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Papa's and Beer. The portions were HUGE! My only complaint was that service was a little slow. Overall, I would score it even with Monterrey by the Mall.

  • J H.

Love this place! The table side guacamole is TO DIE FOR! The salsa bar is great and a perk no other mexican restaurant has in the area. I have never had anything there that wasn't great and the service is great now that they have their feet on the ground. Can't wait til the one opens in Simpsonville! Oh also, the amount of food they give you is insane! I eat it for lunch for the next 2 days! Update: Still love this place, but I live in Simpsonville, and NEVER go to their location here because it is SO small and the atmosphere is terrible! I love a dimly lit restaurant, but you cannot even see the menu here. They literally have about 10 tables and they are on top of each other. Not good, but the food is still good. To Go is the way to go in Simpsonville.

enjoyed the food, Do not like the little cups for salsa. that really cheapens the experience.

  • Steven H.

Very good Mexican that would stack up well against the best. Most dishes have a "California" influence. Lots of veggie options. Their avocado burrito is to die for. Great sangria (red). A bit bummed they don't offer white sangria. Good salsa bar. Great interior atmosphere and very loud / noisy in a good way.

    (4)
  • Amanda A.

Only okay. Salsas are NOT great, even though the idea of a salsa bar made me downright giddy. Okay for a group, but loud. Portions are huge and entrees are decent but not authentic Mexican by any stretch.

  • Cindi R.

I had not planned on eating Mexican food during my visit to South Carolina. We have pretty fantastic Mexican food in Cali. But I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. I absolutely loved my chicken wrap, and my husband loved his flauta. I love that they give you bean dip rather than traditional salsa with the complimentary chips. If you prefer salsa, just visit the salsa bar and get some. I tried 2 different types and both were excellent. Service was fast, and the place was packed! I would definitely be a regular if I lived in Greenville. Cheers!

    (4)
  • April O.

If you're looking for Cali-Mex, this is it. The food is good and they offer a few dishes you won't find at other mexican places. The Flautas are on point, and delish! The service could be better and on the weekends you'll be waiting a bit. My fav, the avacodo taco!

  • John H.

My wife remarked that this place was really good for my diet. Well yes it was! Three bites of the worst Mexican food that I have ever tasted and I gave up and pushed my plate away. My Enchiladas with green sauce and rice and beans were all so salty as to be inedible. The whole plate swam in this soupy mess of melted cheese and beans that seem to have been put through a blender. I am accustomed to being served chips and salsa at the beginning of the meal. We were served some sort of liquid hummus. When I asked if we could have some traditional Salsa I was sent to the Salsa bar where guess what? No traditional Salsa. To top this all off the music was some kind of really slick "Spanish flavor" hip-hop; loud and very annoying. When I asked if they could change it I was told no but they would try to turn it down. My wife's Burrito came covered by the same runny cheese slop that was on my plate. Not as salty but with the same wall paper paste re-fried beans. We both grew up in the Mid West and in New Mexico where Tex-Mex food is a real special treat. This doesn't even come close. Perhaps this is why we were the only people in the restaurant for most of the time we were there. I don't really know of a great Mexican Restaurant in Greenville--most of the Corona's and Monterrey's are pretty bland. Guadalajara's on Heywood Road closed and with it went the best Chillies Poblamos in town. Over all I believe Anita's in Simpsonville is probably the best. They have supurb home made Salsa. Anita's food to, however, has been watered down to accommodate what I have come to identify as the Unsophisticated Greenville Pallete. (UGP) No surprises! Quantity is the key! Very Sad! It makes those trips to Albuquerqe, Santa Fe, Lampasas or San Antonio even more memorable. Check out Yelp in those towns for their Mexican listings! Very instructive!

That P&B is 5 stars should be a surprise to no one. Great prices, fun interior, huge portions of comfort Mexican that hit the spot. Large margaritas. Killer salsa bar. It is always packed. Get there a little early to ensure a table! Perfect place for a birthday dinner, family meetup (they have room for large groups), or a girls night at the bar. Local staple.

    (5)
  • Kimberly B.

The margaritas are the bomb! The food is not. I ordered the "papas fajitas" which is supposed to be a combo of steak, chicken and shrimp. I received over cooked (burnt) steak, rubbery chicken and 2 rubbery shrimp! Don't believe I will go back unless I want to drink.

    (3)
  • Michael K.

Only average... But once you've been to Texas, all Mexican food is. The table side guacamole & margaritas were the best part of the meal. The salsa bar was a mess, the table was sticky & the floors a mess. Our server was top notch & had great suggestions, made it a good meal. And being a crowded Saturday night could have made a difference.

  • Jason D.

The bean dip was good. That was about it. Service was bad. I got the steak quesadilla and the meat had a twang to it. I thought it was just something they cooked in it. Definitely will not go back. Was up all night sick out of both ends.

Since my original review, we have generally avoided Papas and Beer during busy times, opting for late lunches at the bar. Last night we happened to stop in at the crowded dinner hour. The salsa bar was terrible. The 'table salsa' was just tomato water...no chunks of tomato/onion/pepper. One of the salsas had clearly been out at room temp too long and was going bad. My favorite spicy pumpkin seed salsa tasted like bland sour cream. Our entrees were lukewarm...and just not as good as other times we've visited. Our entrees arrived in about 7 minutes, but it took an additional 10 minutes to get silverware. My husband got a salad, which arrived with no dressing. This took anther 10 minutes to get someone's attention to get dressing. We finally just asked for the check...which came quickly except then our card sat on the table and didn't get picked up as we watched our waiter sing happy birthday to 2 tables and help bus some other empty tables, before we finally caught his eye and managed to pay. Very frustrating. I am hesitant to continue to recommend going here after this meal and bad service.

Usually go to Anderson Papas and Beer but since this was close we stopped here . Big mistake !!!! Alcohol Drink order taken. Waited waited waited. Server came by. Said oh. I haven't taken ur order. Took order. Brought appetizer. No silverware. No drinks. Brought food. No torts with fajitas for two.....still No silverware. No drinks. Finally after asking for torts one serving came out. And finally silverware. NO Drinks. Fajitas were overdone. Meat was tough... Ill be eating mex elsewhere. I wish I would have read BARBARA W. Review... I could have saved 80.$$ we waited for ever for a mgr. finally left without any satisfaction. Go to Fonda Rosalinda

Doesn't compare to the fresh and delicious fare offered at Papas and Beer in Hendersonville. Disappointed that they were not the same menu. Still, monstrous burritos- enough for two (or two dinners) and margaritas are good.

    (3)
  • Carlo D.

Had their fajita burrito combo. It was large portion, awesome flavor, added the sauce from their sauce bar. Muy excellent! And the service was great too. She kept my drinks coming.

They usually have great table side guacamole and their bean dip is amazing. Sometimes the service is a bit lax or altogether absent but overall the bean dip and guacamole make up for it.

This is a pretty good Mexican restaurant. Not my favorite, but definitely pretty good. Great for groups and great for meeting up with friends. The wait time can get lengthy, which is a good sign. The location is easy to access, right on Haywood Road with free parking in their private lot. Minus two stars: The food itself does not excite me. I have definitely had better, and don't plan to be back.

After venturing to Papas and Beer more often than I care to admit, I've decided to update my review and give them another star. The food at Papas and Beer is generally always delicious. Rarely have a been disappointed by something on the menu. I have fallen madly in love with most of their salsa they have on the bar. They also have some sauces they make which are NOT on the bar (which makes me so sad) which are totally delicious. The Crispy Yucatan Flautas dish is one of my favorites. It comes with a delicious combination of sauces, plus they have a tropical salsa on top. With the sauces, one of them is a little bit hotter than the other, but both are amazing. Oh, and the tropical salsa...I just love the mango flavor and the sweet/savory combination of it. You can also get this salsa on the Tropical Tacos, which are also super delicious. Finally, their bean dip which comes with the chips gets better and better each time I come. Sometimes it has more sauce mixed in which makes it a little hotter and more tasty. I love this dip! As I mentioned in my previous review, service has always been a pretty big problem. However, I have noticed that the service is exponentially better when you come at peak times. It is probably because they are trying to get people in and out the door faster, but it is definitely appreciated. Also, even when the service is a little slow, they are pretty quick to take your food order and deliver the food. The biggest wait, most of the time, is after you receive your food. On our last trip, we waited about 20 minutes after we finished eating to get the check and then to get the bill paid. Annoying as that was, I was happy that we were able to order quickly, our food was hot, and we got our drinks refilled when our food came. Finally, the big thing I will also give them credit for is that our food is always hot when they bring it. I have had to wait to pay or wait a while to order, but the food has always come quickly and has never gotten cold on the way. One final point about this place is that their prices are reasonable. The two of us can eat here for less than $25 at dinner and often leave with leftovers which are still tasty the next day. This also makes me happy. Papas and Beer is definitely my go-to Mexican restaurant.

This is the go-to Mexican restaurant in the Upstate. I really wish they had one of these in Atlanta. The best part is the salsa bar. There are so many options from your regular table salsa to some pretty spicy pumpkin salsa. They also have a different variety of Mexican food to offer (this is California style Mexican) and it's refreshing to have some variety in the Upstate vs your typical Mexican restaurant. If you're the owner(s) of this restaurant, please take a look at opening a location in the North Atlanta/Alpharetta area. I guarantee the people here will love it!

Very good. Salsa bar = great Rather large large beer = great I had the enchiladas Mazatlán. Very good. More food than I can eat so I guess you could say it's all you can eat. Service was great. Friendly helpful. What more could you ask for.

Came here with a coworker, who suggested this place, I am from Texas, so gonna be a little tough on this place as this is Mexican food Cali style (Too healthy for me) Let me start with what I did like, spicy bean dip and chips was really very good, should have just ate that with my tea. The salsa bar has good salsa, I just don't like having to go get it. The decor is nice for being in Greenville, lots of Mexicans working there so felt like home..lol, My coworker had the lunch fajitas, meat was good but instead of just having grilled onions you also get some zucchini, some funky looking Spanish rice and beans, the beans are also white or whitish looking just like the dip, you get the option of flour or corn tortillas. All and all not too bad. I order the Shrimp Ranchero, somewhat different from what I get in Texas, instead of onions cilantro, tomatoes and jalapeños. I get onions, zucchini and monster sliced jalapeños. Not very good combo for me, the shrimp to my surprise were very tender and tasty. Again not bad, but not what I am used to. Also came with a Ceasars salad, but! It had tortillas strip on it? And hardly any Caesars dressing very dry and boring, here in Texas we get fries or slaw. If you into healthy CaliMex food this place is for you.

Went to PAB one Sunday after church and got right in. My shredded beef tacos were great, the rice was very light, and the beans were flavorful. My wife and two kids were equally pleased with what they ordered. My son's Asada steak burrito looked REALLY good so I think I may tackle that one next time. The bean dip for the chips was pretty good, too. Our waiter was attentive and did a nice job. I'm originally from Southern California and tend to be pretty picky when it comes to basically my home state's cuisine. We've been in town for about a year and a half and have had a hard time finding really good Mexican vittles, that is until now. Puerto Vallarta at Cherrydale was pretty good but I think PAB is even better. Give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Came here with a coworker and had a Baja fish taco. The food was seasoned well and had a spicy sauce that added a nice little kick. The food was spicy but not over whelming. The service is the primary reason I am giving this a 3 star. The waitress asked us if we were ready to order and we said no. Well I think she punished us by making us wait about 10 more minutes before she came back. She never asked us if we needed help or recommended anything she just ignored us for about 10 minutes. Well after that the mood had been set for the service we would receive and I adjusted. One thing I did like was that you can pick the type of salsa you want with the chips they provide.

The food here is solid. Definitely a favorite for Mexican in the area. The salsa bar is great - lots of different options and all of them are very good The service is a bit slow usually, unfortunately. I can understand why, since it's always very busy, but it can be a bit frustrating. Still, I keep going back!

Iama Critic Rating - Papas & Beer - 4 Stars 317 Haywood Road, Greenville, SC Overall: Don't even think of going to Papas & Beer without expecting to wait on a Friday night!. At 6:30pm we waited about 30 minutes. I am not complaining, I am just saying, expect to wait and bring some good friends to talk to. This trip to Papas & Beer I bought my regular assortment of guest critics, and a VEGAN! HAHAHA Nothing like torturing a vegan by ordering twelve pounds of meat filled MEGA BURRITOS! Papas & Beer has a five star MEGA BURRITO that is better than almost every burrito we have ever tasted. As far as I am concerned, nothing else Papas and Beer has on the menu matters! The MEGA BURRITO Challenge: Once again Papas & Beer had no 2X or 3X shirts. SERIOUSLY? Do they actually expect "medium" size guys to finish this HUGE burrito in the required time? If I go back and they don't have XXL shirts next time, I will deduct 1 star from their reviews on ALL of my websites! What an epic fail! $15.00 - MEGA BURRITO - 5 Stars Now you might think this MEGA BURRITO would be constructed with fillers like beans and rice and corn, but no, no, no, you would be wrong. Sure this thing has some of that, but this bad boy is also filled with steak and chicken and all the goodies that make it the best tasting burrito Chef Iama Critic has ever tasted at this price! Yes my friends, this joyous bundle of goodness can be yours for the low price if $15 and will feed a family of four, or provide you with three meals! $13.00 - Strange Order - 4 Stars My vegan guest, as usual, special ordered his meal, with a combination of grilled veggies, beans, rice and corn tortillas. The mix was very nice. Much better than some of the special orders I have seen him receive. I would have added grilled corn on the cob, but my vegan guest seemed to really like his order. Salsa Bar - 4 Stars The Papa's and Beer's salsa bar is loaded with salsa from boring and bland to down right hot. Perfect variety but the bar tends to get a little messy from customer who are less than skilled at filling little plastic cups.

How can you go wrong when you walk in the door and there is a burrito on display that is bigger than a newborn baby? You can't!! I've been here a few times and have loved the food each visit. Each time I have had a different burrito so I can only preach about them; I haven't had any other items like enchiladas, quesadillas, etc. So far, I have tried to eat something different than the time before (avocado burrito to the steak burrito to the chicken then the vegetarian etc. etc.) and have left satisfied. The portions are very generous. Usually, a Mexican restaurant will give you complementary chips and salsa. Here, you get chips and some very tasty bean dip! And the large servings don't stop at the food. The beers and margaritas are novelty sized! But it's no novelty here, just the norm. Be prepared to leave full and satisfied. The lunch menu pricing is very reasonable and the service was super speedy. I had time left on my break when I was finished. This is usually not the case at many places during lunch time.

Used to be one of my favs but b they've feel off lately. Stood at the bar for 15 minutes and had to stop somebody just to place a takeout order. The salsa bar was messy. Just not a good look. The food was still OK though.

The food and the prices are fantastic!!!! Not to mention the portion sizes. When we feel like we're starving this is our go to. The portions are large and filling. We've tried all kinds of different plates and have not been let down. It is also one of the few authentic restaurants that have horchata (made right).

Nice Food, friendly service, recommended. The California Chicken burrito was huge...way more than you should eat :) Sat at the bar and the tender was very friendly. In from out of town, read a few good reviews on Yelp and gave it a go. You should too.

How in the world does this place have so many stars?! The boyfriend and I ate there tonight. I'd seen the signs for this place and heard it was decent so we went. I think it is essential to the Papas and Beer experience to have a LOT of beer before you eat anything, so that way you're drunk and don't notice how bad the food is. Sadly, we did not do this. I am pretty sure no sober person would enjoy this food. The bean dip they brought out with the chips was literally the best thing on our table tonight. The chips weren't bad. I got the Mexico City tacos. The chicken taco was pretty good, but the pork tasted weird and the beef was just completely bland. This dish came with a side of pintos with what appeared to be some pico de gallo floating in the bean water. No matter, even with the pico, the beans were completely bland. The boyfriend got the shredded beef burrito. The meat was totally bland. The rice that came with it was totally bland. The salsa we got from the salsa bar had more garlic in it than any salsa ever should have. So we go from weirdly over seasoned salsa to weirdly under seasoned meat. As we were eating the fire alarm went off. It just added to the whole weird/bad experience. At least we will have a funny story to tell about this disappointing meal! I don't expect super authentic Mexican food from a place like this, but there are literally hundreds of small hole-in-the-wall Mexican joints in Greenville that have better food than this place. We each ate about half our meal and did not request to-go boxes because I can't imagine this food becoming good (or magically seasoned somehow!) overnight. The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because we got seated fairly quickly despite there being a wait (a wait!!! For this!!!) and once we were seated, service was great. The food is just gross.

Great place to go and enjoy Mexican food. The bean dip with their chips are delicious! I've had the Jose Cuervo Fajitas and I recommend them. They have really good grilled chicken as well. I can't wait to go back!

The fajita salad with chicken is very good and quite large. I would have preferred green leaf or even iceberg lettuce over romaine, but it was still quite tasty and fresh. The place was hopping as usual on Friday night. Service was friendly and superfast. Being a low carb fan I didn't devour the basket of chips, but honestly could have with the bean dip and awesome salsa bar. So good! They do desperately need a larger lobby area, as well as bar area to handle the crowds that always seem to be there. Aside from that, this is the place to go for great Mexican food.

Not sure I'd call it a true Mexican experience, but it is good food. The burritos are a little ridiculous. I have finished them, but it definitely filled me up. Their burritos are probably 2-2 1/2 lbs. They are huge. My wife loved the salsa bar, though I find their salsa to be rather salty. My favorite dish is the TRI-City Tacos. It is a good sample of different tastes. The fajita burrito is my favorite burrito, but should be taken down by two people. You may think the quesadillas are a little expensive, until you see the size. Like everything else here, they are huge. You could truly feed a family of 4 with 1 1/2 dishes. Be prepared to ask for a to go box!

The best Mexican food at great prices and good service! Their bean dip is scrumdiliocious! And if you like salsa...they got it...a whole salsa bar with eight different salsas to choose from. Never been disappointed!

I too, am like some of the other yelpers. Sometimes P&B is good and other times, I wonder why I return. Fast service but not always friendly service. Good food but not always really good food. Table side guacamole is the best. You can make a meal from just the chips and the dip. I prefer the P&B in Simpsonville over Greenville, however it's a really little restaurant with about 15 tables so depending on the night you can expect a wait. Overall, it's not bad ...... just not consistent.

Tasty food and outstanding service with a smile! We were served by Ana and she was one of the most attentive servers I've ever had. Food was delivered amazingly fast which was impressive considering how busy they were. Hot, tasty and awesome.

Awesome food and service, great prices. Got the flautitos appetizer for my entree. It was huge. The steak was tender and juicy and came with a guacamole and sour cream salad. Hubby got the fajitas -- the portion was enough to feed a small village! It had talapia, large shrimp, chicken, and steak and veggies plus a large plate of a variety of fixings. We both had enough to bring leftovers enough for a second meal. Oh and the salsa bar had a good selection of different salsas to choose from but the bean dip they bring with the chips is the best Bean dip I've ever had. Don't know what they do to make it so tasty. We will frequent this place for sure!

Ohhh Papa! If you like greasy Mexican restaurants like Broncos, Monterrey's, or Coronas....don't come here. This place is a bar above the rest. Fresh ingredients & never greasy. A delight for people who love Mexican for the full flavors. I've had many many things on their menu and nothing seems to disappoint. Here is some insight........ Instead of bringing salsa to your table they mix things up with bean & cheese dip for those chips! But if you want salsa....you're in luck my dear. They have a salsa bar! Yes I said it....salsa bar! Have fun, break the rules & get more than three! Want to eat fat that is healthy for you? Try the Guacamole which is made right in front of you with fresh avocados, jalapeños, lime juice, & pico de gallo. Try it...you won't be able to stop! Nom. Nom. Nom. The burrito selection is massive. I can't ever decide which one I want. Try closing your eyes and letting your finger land somewhere lucky. No matter where it ends up, you'll be happy. They are over sized so be prepared for lunch leftovers! Quesadilla is also over sized as well as fantastic. Mexico City tacos are a fav of mine. You get one chicken, one pork, & one steak. Each with different toppings in a corn tortilla. Me not being a fan of corn tortillas, I was very surprised that I enjoyed theirs. They are not dry & gritty but moist with a flour like texture instead. They compliment the "soft taco" meat festival in your mouth. The meat is tender & spiced to perfection. I love this dish because you don't have to choose just one thing! I love choices! Another fav of mine when I'm trying to leave carbs out of my meal is the Saltillo Sizzling Salad. Oh my yumm! Pick whatever meat you want, I always do chicken, and they bring out a huge bowl of lettuce with sliced avocado & cheese. They also have a sizzling cast iron with your meat and everything else that would come with fajitas like peppers, onions, squash, zucchini.....yes! They pour that on your greens, top it off w a vinaigrette and toss toss toss! I promise once you taste this....you'll thank me to the high heavens because none of it will go to your hips! Good carbs taste this good??!!! Yep! I always go the bar area because I seem to get better service. PLEASE PLEASE understand that they are ALWAYS busy so service is a little slower than what you desire but if you can be patient & order your drink before you finished your other you'll be happy. It's busy because the food is really THAT good. If you're really feeling brave take a shot of their in house made jalapeño infused tequila. It'll make you forget that you're server has 6 other tables. And if you're really lucky maybe you'll get serenaded by the cute little man with a guitar. He takes request but he kills the song about tequila. Hilarious! =) =) If you don't expect anything bland and love flavor explosions this is the place for you. Because of Papas & Beer I now refuse to eat any other so called Mexican food. This is the only place for me! Ole!

Service is ALWAYS great here. They have it together. The SALSA bar is a treat compared to other Mexican restaurants. The variety is plentiful and servings large. Spicy Green Flautas are my favorite. Plenty to split with a friend. Caesar salad with grilled shrimp is yummy. I just wish the outside patio was open. It seems finished, but I have yet to be able to eat out there. Hopefully it will be open before it's too cold. Great place.

Yummy margaritas, reasonably priced. Salsa bar is a nice treat! We had the chicken wrap with the jalapeño mayonnaise. Very tasty! A little noisy inside- but the place was hopping with excitement.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
