Really enjoyed the Pimento Cheese burger here. I read online that this is where all the locals go and now I see why! The price is more than fair with a good quality burger! Don't let the appearance or location hold you back this is a long standing local tasty restaurant! I'll be back

Absolute Favorite breakfast spot in town. Just a basic breakfast but it's just my style. We try to go every Saturday morning.

This place is a hole in the wall, but all the locals eat here because if you want a well designed burger or sandwich, a perfectly delicious breakfast, or a fresh squeezed orangeade it can't be beaten. I usually (read always) order a bacon, egg, and Swiss with lettuce, tomato, and mayo on wheat toast for breakfast. It's without a doubt the best breakfast sandwich I've had. For lunch, you can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches paired with an orangeade. I recommend it to everyone who doesn't live around here, because everyone who does already knows how good it is!

Charming old school soda shop; no fuss menu featuring down home cooking. The salads and soups are surprisingly satisfying, and worth popping in for an afternoon milkshake to feel like you've transported back in time.

Great burger in a quirky little soda shop! I will have the pimento cheese burger next time.

We used to eat there every Friday, love their chili cheese burgers and onion rings. Friendly people, love the history of the place and all if the things inside you can look at. Meat is ground fresh daily so that makes it all the better.

This place is super cool- it's instantly like a trip back in time. The only thing in the place within the last 3 years is the credit card machine (I was surprised they had one!). They go out of their way to make sure everything is fresh and you are happy. Totally a must-visit if you are in town. Upon recommendation, I had the pimento burger - which was pretty good - it was a classic old-style burger. Also their fresh squeezed juice (I had a half-orange half-lemonade) is to die for. I wish that had more soda fountain flavors (read: green river), but I'll survive.

Don't miss this treasure. The store itself with all its artifacts from the past is a museum of burger history. They serve breakfast too, mostly just biscuits with various items on them. We came in the morning after missing the evening burger call the night before. Tom the cook and brother of the owner cooked me up a burger for breakfast. I had the Chris Evans Burger ($4.15) with bacon and fried egg. The bun was grilled inside and out. Tom threw on some grilled onions and American cheese. This yummy place is another of the throwback places where I love to have a burger. My Mom loved her Egg Biscuit too. Can't wait to go back for a full lunch. Hoosier Burger Boy

I had passed by this place lots of times, I have a friend who used to live around the corner from it, but had never been in. I thought I'd go in and try it today, and it was like stepping into yesterday! The pimento cheese burger, fries, slaw, and vanilla diet Pepsi I had was very well worth the drive to North Main, and I will be back!

Don't go after lunch because when they clean the grill the give you a precooked burger. Chewy as hell. Never offered to do Anything about it.

Yummm! Went there for lunch with a handful of colleagues. (It's on Main Street, about a mile north of downtown -- perfect for a quick mid-week lunch). None of us had been before...and now none of us can wait to go back! I had the pimento cheese burger, onion rings and sweet tea with *shaved ice* and lemon (this meal is sooo NOT on the Flat Belly Diet, which I'm currently "on" -- but totally worth the splurge!). Everything is made in-house and tastes like it was handmade with love. Everyone, and I mean everyone from the staff to the neighbors at the next table, is friendly and just happy to be there. The place fills up during lunch, so head over a little before 12 to beat the rush. A couple more points of interest: 1) they have a small eating area out back and 2) hours are 8am-8pm.

This place is fantastic! A true old time soda shop. The interior is original and eclectic. The pimento cheese burger is awesome, as are the Coke floats. Perfect place for a fun Saturday lunch.
