We are so glad we gave Logan's another try. On a busy Friday night, the staff & our server was very friendly & happy to see us. My husband ordered a T-bone & I had a salad & both were really good. Our server kept the tea glasses full & checked on us frequently without being an interruption. We will visit again!

Food was ok, but the service was terrible. I would have considered coming back if the service was not so incredibly bad. Had to request rolls, refills, even had to catch another sever and ask him to let our server know that we were ready to order our food and later again to pay the bill. I won't be giving them another dollar.

The $4 coupon doesn't work in SC and some other states! Our experience was not good. My salmon was dry and oddly came with a side of melted butter. My co-worker's steak was very undercooked and she sent it back. The chicken and rice soup was nothing to brag about, although the server did. Don't bother getting a salad, they are cheap and the dressings are bland. However, the steaks that were correct were very tasty. The rolls are delish. The sweet potato was huge, hot, and perfect. Our service was pretty terrible, and management should definitely help that poor server on proper technique. She kept getting our drink orders wrong and/or switched. Bless her heart. I won't be back to Logan's Roadhouse.

Looking for a good steak while away. Came here as it was convenient. The menu is OK, the salad was OK, the ribeye was OK. Thin, OK flavor, nothing special. The standout was the bread served with the salad. Now that was excellent! Overall the experience was OK, not disappointing and not anything special. Server was pleasant and quick. Food came quickly, it was prepared adequately. Dessert: one choice. Thought that was strange. Conclusion: good place but nothing extraordinary. Not a let down either.

Good food. Not as great as it was several years ago. Always loved this chain in other cities because of the freshness of the food. Today's lunch was good. But not as good as in the past or in other locations.

Never been so we decided to check it out. When they asked smoking or non....I knew this might be a problem. We got to our booth and it was very dirty, straw wrappers and crumbs on the seat. The smoke smell was overwhelming in the non smoking section. We left before ordering....sorry

If you're going to allow smoking you may want to warn people. I mean who still allows smoking in a restaurant these days?!? Terrible. Won't ever be back. Was in there for 5 minutes before I left and I stink like cigarette smoke.

I love logans in Anderson my favorite place. I know exactly what to order every time I go. But I ate this logans while out of town an had the worst service! Never got a refill, waitress brought the check an never came back until we finally stopped an begged her to charge the card so we could leave! The manager, was a woman, kept refilling drinks for tables around us and asking how their food was but never ours. Very rude and unprofessional.

I love eating at Logan's. The food is fresh and those homemade rolls...yum yum! I will definitely be coming in here on the regular.

Anything and everything salad...weak. Tomatoes were just about bad, mushy and gooey, as well as the onions. Didn't make me sick but I was surprised.

The restaurant is not as nice as some of the local competitors and the side items with my meal were lame. The prices were nothing to brag about and the waiter was mediocre at best. But... the steak that I had was one of the best flavored pieces of meat that I have ever ate!

I used to love Logans, but after a recent visit, I doubt I will be back. The food, service and atmosphere make it feel like just another sub-par franchise. Disappointing.

Good place for a quick beer and some ok food nothing spectacular. I do like the fact that you can still throw your peanut shells on the ground here but they allow smoking at the bar and thats a downfall. Bar tender and wait staff seemed to do an excellent job. Would give it 3 stars if the smoking was banned inside.

Yumsies! I used to work at the diner across the street, so this was a regular stop after work. The bartenders are great, and so is the kitchen! I don't know if it's still the same guy behind the line, but...Ask for the poppers (fried jalapeno peppers), not on the menu, but really great! The most reasonably priced good quality steaks around! And hey, where else can you throw peanut shells on the floor? Oddly enough, everything else is always clean...even the bathrooms :) I've never seen/experienced any problems with service here. Even the hostesses are good at dealing with "traffic" at the door...which for non food & beverage people: this is easier said than done! I really love their salads as well and their dressings. The ranch is really good here for some reason. Also, the rolls are DELICIOUS! There's nothing better than warm, melt-in-your-mouth bread! Also, the appetizer salad actually has tomatoes, quality lettuce and other fresh veggies atop! Yum. Love.

This is like your basic Texas Roadhouse type restaurant. They have pretty decent food, I got a delicious french dip sandwich there, and a burger a second night. The waitresses were interested in our Californian accents, they served alcohol, and that's about all I can remember. Good location next to our hotel, good food, good service, and they serve alcohol.

We've been regular customers for over a year now and yet we have mediocre service more often than not. It doesn't matter what time we go, packed or just a few patrons, sitting in the dining area or in the bar... it seems that service is just not the top priority. Multiple servers have set this example so it's not a one time experience. The food is good and reasonably priced so we continue to attend but it would be nice if they gave their staff a refresher course on how to attend to the guests.

Logan's.... got some memories of this place but they ain't all that good. It's actually a pretty fun place in that they give you a big ole bucket of salted peanuts as an appetizer and you can crack 'em open and throw the shells on the floor. (Although once I ate like half a pound of them and got sick.) But the food is just the typical stuff you'd expect from a chain steakhouse like this. They do, however, have a bar set off from the main restaurant area. My main experience with this was a dude ruining our night by coming on to one of my group really hard and getting her incredibly drunk. That was quite a mess.... but I can't blame Logan's for that!

Iama Critic Rating - Logan's Roadhouse - 3 Stars 53 Beacon Drive, Greenville, SC Our Experience: If you peruse Logan's reviews across the internet you will find a common problem that has nothing to do with their food. Now Chef Iama Critic doesn't normally give a hoot about ambiance, and it rarely affects his reviews unless the ambiance is either spectacular or horrid, but what the heck is all this cigarette smoke? Nothing destroys the flavor of a good steak faster than some dude with a fag in his mouth smoking up the place. If you want to allow smoking, allow electronic cigarettes! Sorry but stench always costs a star. What an unnecessary shame. But aside from the stench of cigarettes Logan's is my kinda place, rustic, country, loud, comfortable and most importantly peanuts on the floor. There is nothing like the feeling of crushing peanuts to soothe a man's soul. The Service - 3 Stars (17% tip) The service we received was about average. Our waitress was attentive, but she was not very helpful or social. She was just there, doing her job and nothing more. For her effort we left a slightly higher than deserved 17% $8.00 tip. We typically provide 20% or more for 5 star service on the pre-tax portion of the bill, 18% for 4, 15% for 3, 12% for 2 and 0% for 1 star service. The Food: Table Peanuts - 5 Stars Nothing produces more joy in a restaurant than shuckin' "free" peanuts and then chuckin' the shells on the floor, at your guests, or wherever else you wish to throw them. If Logan's ever disallows such nutty shenanigans I will never go back! Table Yeast Rolls - 4 Stars Even though I personally hate fluffy yeast rolls. It has been a while since I went to a restaurant that serves table bread, so these were a welcomed addition. As fluffy yeast rolls go these were top of the heap and the butter was a perfect compliment. If you like yeast rolls, you will love these! $9.49 Eight Wing Appetizer - 2 Stars Great chicken wings are now being served all over Greenville. This vast improvement means that last year's five star wings are just average today! Logan's chicken wings receive an odd presentation with the wings served skewered on a very hot metal spike. This metal burned me good, which is why Chinese restaurants use bamboo, so don't touch the spike until it cools down. It seems these spikes only serve as a cooking devise in the kitchen and serves no real purpose for the customer. Nevertheless the wings had a wonderful flavor. The problem is the size. For over a dollar a piece these wings need to be cheaper or much larger. And none of the wing segments were the larger, meatier, primary section. So in my view Logan's can keep their cute little spike in the kitchen and give me more meat. $4.79 Award Winning Chili - 4 Stars I love it when restaurants tell me upfront that their food is "the best" or "award winning", because I can then compare it directly to the food I make. You see, I too have competed in numerous chili tournaments, and my chili has won well over half the tournaments I have entered. So when it comes to chili I know a thing or two about what it takes to be the best. Logan's chili is very good, and I even added a star just because they offered me chili crackers! I would have preferred a slightly larger bowl, but then too much good chili is not a good thing. $2.99 Loaded Baked Potato - 4 Stars Another great side item is this Logan's salt encrusted baked potato loaded with bacon, cheese, butter, black pepper and cream cheese. All it lacked was chives and a little green onion. $16.38 Mesquite Grilled Pork Chops - 3 Stars At over sixteen dollars these pork chops are significantly priced and were served with boring, unseasoned fries, awful processed baked apples, and a wonderful and decently sized sweet potato. Had the two thin chops been served as a single thick whole chop the results might have been better. However the flavorful chops were just too thin for the price compared to what you can get elsewhere. $13.08 Salmon Salad - 4 Stars Every wonder what restaurants do with the thin tail end of their salmon filets? Well Logan's obviously puts them on their salads. Thankfully this salad, despite its high price, was exceptionally well made. It was loaded with toppings, had the correct amount of greens and even had a few surprises like the dried cranberries. Total Bill: $58.46 for two adults, including tax, a tip and two soda fountain drinks. Final Thoughts: I am a little surprised at the final rating for Logan's. I was expecting them to at least tie our review for Outback, but Outback has several five star items and Logan's, well, there just wasn't anything that went above four stars for the price they charge. But as long as they offer me the opportunity to shuck and chuck peanuts, I will be back!

Very good service. Changed out an order without any problem or discomfort. I had the club and chili for lunch and enjoyed throwing peanut shells on the floor for a while. Thanks for good food.
