We have eaten at this particular IHOP many times and have yet to be disappointed. This has usually been on a Sunday morning, and even at their busiest time we are always seated within 10 minutes. Yes, service has varied, but it's never been bad enough to Yelp about. Their omelets are always perfectly prepared, and for me, their pancakes are second to none. The waiters and waitresses are usually working hard to get it right and done fast, and this morning "Carol" was exceptional.

Great news! All you can eat pancakes are back! Bad news! This IHOP sucks! My boyfriend and I love IHOP. We have dined at this particular location without problem. Tonight the service was slow and impersonal. Our waitress took our plates without asking if we were finished or if we wanted more pancakes. We were sucking on ice cubes after one single water refill. Our server was texting behind the frosted glass partition. I get it. Wednesday night at IHOP is boring. You shouldn't have to try. I can't really blame our server too much as the attitude of many of the other workers seemed sloppy and lazy. Since you didn't ask, IHOP, I just wanted to let you know how I felt after dinner. Yes, we are finished. I have no intention of eating the rest of that rancid fruit. Yes, my boyfriend is finished eating the hashbrowns that he took one bite of and spit back onto his plate because he said they tasted "like chemicals." No, we don't want any more of your greasy pancakes. Also, why are your pancakes greasy?! Oh, and we never wanted the warm old fashioned syrup, not that you asked or ever came by to check on us. Thank you for adding an extra order of bacon to our meal and charging us without asking. And thank you for making my boyfriend throw up in only 15 minutes. True apothecary, thy drugs are quick.

UPDATE: 140128 Iama Critic Rating - IHOP - 2 Stars 1 Park Woodruff Drive, Greenville, SC Overall: For our IHOP update we concentrated on ordering lunch items. $10.29 - Tilapia Florentine - 2 Stars Wow, this is one of the worse presentations I have ever seen! It looks simply disgusting. Which is appropriate because it taste just as bad! With the ridiculously overcooked tilapia, which is supposed to be seasoned, you get a wad of extremely boring white mashed potatoes and a decent piece of crusty bread. The spinach in the creamy Alfredo sauce is delightful and this dish has plenty of potential. All IHOP has to do is fire their cook and ditch the ultra boring potatoes! Because this dish is awful, is way overpriced, and looks nothing like the menu! Side Salad - 2 Stars A side salad came with my horrendous Tilapia Florentine, this small salad is simply boring. Nothing special here. Blah, blah, blah. $7.99 - Appetizer Sampler - 2 Stars Comes with Mozza Sticks, crunchy Onion Rings and Crispy Chicken Strip. Supposedly, on IHOP's own website, 11 people gave this horrific, pre-packaged appetizer, 4 stars! Seriously, some people have no right to rate food. This is nothing but frozen, pre-packaged, re-heated fare. You might as well go to Wal-Mart and pick up a package for the game tonight, it is the same stuff and you will save lots of money! $8.99 - Country Fried Steak & Eggs - 4 Stars This entree comes with an 8 oz. fried beef steak smothered, just like you had in high school, with sausage gravy, two eggs, hash browns and two buttermilk pancakes. Now IHOP shined on this entree. The hash browns, pancakes, and eggs were perfect. The beef steak, was not quite excellent, but close, which is quite a feat as CFS is hardly ever cooked right. And the price isn't bad either. Final Thoughts: After our last visit to IHOP that earned 3 stars, we were hoping they had improved. Sadly, if anything, IHOP has fallen further, so they earn a lesser 2 stars. Chef Iama Critic simply could not ignore the pre-packaged appetizers, the horrid fish, and the pathetic salad. At least IHOP still can make a decent breakfast, but hey, Waffle House can do that, and for a whole lot less!

Hubby and I had a late night dinner/snack at I Hop last night. Our waitress was very friendly! He ordered the French toast meal and I the French toast only. Everything was hit, freshly made and enjoyable.

A great place certainly for pancakes. Omelettes are good with a variety of stuffings available. A good place with not so high prices.

I've always been a fan of IHOP and this one does not disappoint. The food is good, as is the service.

When I lived in Greenville, this place was amazing. The food is always good, and the staff has that 'family' feel to it. Better than corporate IHOP restaurants that I've been to (this ones owned by Ronnie who always makes you feel like his number one guest. The managers Penny and Kelly are brilliant at their jobs too.) defiantly a must for breakfast food. As expected, there is a wait on weekend mornings but they try and get you a table as soon as possible.
