Being from Spartanburg, I have never actually had food from a Hooters until I was invited to dinner at the Greenville restaurant. Hooters is more known for their wings and their "hot" female waitresses walking around in orange shorts. Most people would be going to Hooters for the chicks; I honestly go more for the food. And it surprisingly isn't bad for such a popular chain. Our waitress was nice, but going on a Friday night I got relatively slow service. My appitizer came around when my entree came. I had 10 "Daytona Beach-style" wings (breaded) and curly fries. Surprisingly very tasty! The wings however were HOT! Hot as in the temperature of the wings. No matter how hungry you are, please let 'em cool down before you eat. And the wings are drenched in sauce, so get plenty of napkins. The curly fries were good, but they cooled down quite quick. Overall, the food is way better than what I've had at chains like Buffalo Wild Wings; which is small portions of food at a high price. During my first trip, I heard the girls do their loud "birthday star" anthem. It was nice to watch them get all energetic. ;) All in all, Hooters in Greenville is good, but you might want to go on more days where there's specials going on (like on "Wingsday").

Best Hooters food I've ever had! Everything was hot and fresh. The service was quick, and Margot was a great server (pleasant, prompt, and welcoming). I'll definitely be back when I'm in the Greenville area again!

Poor quality food and consistently poor service with little engagement from waitresses. Many waitresses don't even know the limited menu. Received Food Poisoning twice and friends have also received food poisoning when visiting without me. All in all, I recommend everyone to avoid this location for their own safety. I like the chain as a whole...just not this location.

Iama Critic Rating - Hooters - 3 Stars 2401 Laurens Road, Greenville, SC Overall: After our amazing and very rare five star experience at a Hooters in Columbia, we thought we would try our local Greenville Hooters. The atmosphere and ambiance were the same, but something was seriously missing. And it soon became apparent what it was. In Columbia Chef Iama Critic and his Five Star Restaurant Review critic crew enjoyed the attention and interaction of one of the greatest waitresses of all time. And it had nothing to do with her appearance! This waitress was OUR advocate!!! She made sure every single item that she served to my table was simply perfect, and she rejected sub-par items before we ever saw them. Even our cheese fries were a work of art! That is a tough act to follow. But it appears that the Greenville Hooters just decided not to even try! The Service - 2 Stars (10%) The service we received was below average. Our waitress was not sociable, interactive or was even interested in doing her job. We left a 10% tip that far exceeded what was commensurate to her effort. Even though both restaurants were serving the same menu, the experiences were wildy different. It was amazing to see the difference that a great waitress can make. In Columbia we left our amazing waitress a 50% tip We typically provide 20% or more for 5 star service on the pre-tax portion of the bill, 18% for 4, 15% for 3, 12% for 2 and 0% for 1 star service. The Food: $4.98 Bowl of Chili - 4 Stars $1 of this price was for extra cheese and onion. This may not be tournament quality chili, but it is very good for the price. The price is also $0.50 less than in Columbia. $8.99 Lots of Tater Tots - 3 Stars These tater tots were unique and our tater tot critic says they were mighty good, but the tots were a tad too titillatingly pricey! $8.99 Sliders - 3 Stars These little burgers are mighty good but with three critics and four burgers we ended up fighting over the last one! $9.99 - Fish Sandwich - 4 Stars This sandwich fairs comparably to some of the best fish sandwiches we have ever had. The curly fries were unique and tasted good. However this sandwich is $1.00 more than we paid in Columbia, so it looses a star. $10.99 Double D Burgers - 4 Stars This burger certainly brings on the meat! It is just a classic monster burger with an equivalent price. But Hooters robbed me of some fries. Total Bill: $45.41 for three people including tax, tip, soda fountain drinks and a promo discount of -$8.99.

My friends and I went to watch a fight at hooters, of course we had a few beers and order some food but the service was very poor. Our waitress was very rude and also got our drinks and orders wrong. I asked her how long had she worked there and she wasn't even new, she had been a waitress at hooters for a few years now. I try to empathize with her because it was a busy night, my wife is a waitress also so it know people are very rude to them, but I couldn't she came down very rude and disrespectful. I asked the hostess before we left what was wrong with her and it was like no one wanted us to be there, because even the hostess was rude and got upset for asking things that were none of my business. Never coming back again. And If I do it's only for the fried pickles because even their wings suck.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The kitchen is just awful. I ate here twice this week due to the proximity to the hotel and previous experience with the chain. The first time I ordered a chicken sandwich tossed in hot sauce, with extra medium sauce and onion rings. I got a sandwich with no sauce and 5 onion rings. Not 5 large onion rings, 5 gas station onion rings. The bartender brought me a cup of sauce (that I asked for on my wings) but the sandwich was cold, dry and tasted freezer-burned. The next time I ordered 10 wings, all drums, medium, extra wet with onion rings. This time I got the same 5 onion rings but I did get the dipping sauce this time. My wings were dry and cold just like my sandwich. I asked for a cup of wing sauce and I did get it. However, my wings were too cold to melt it. I'm not looking for gourmet food from Hooters but I've always gotten good chicken. This kitchen either can't cook or won't listen. I won't be back and I'm down here 10-12 times a year. Avoid this place. Friendly help/awful food.

I had not been to this location in years. There was a stench when we walked in that was awful, and I wanted to leave based on the smell alone. I did notice there were more dinners outside than there were inside. We got our food after a 33 minute wait, and I must say the wings were good, but the fries were very cold as if they had been sitting a long time awaiting the wings. I will have to say with all the competitors in Greenville, I will have to choose another location for wings, and I will eat at Hooters in another city to get my wing fix.

I had not been to this Hooters Location in a few years. I was told it was renovated a couple of years ago, and looks 100% better than it did during my last visit. This building was originally a bank, so the exterior has some very different looking windows than any other Hooters. Inside is the bank vault, complete with a dining area . I ordered my usual Hooters sandwich, the Buffalo Chicken. Food prep time was quick and my deal was served quickly. Nice meaty chicken breast seasoned well. What brings the rating to three stars was the Hooters Girls and my pet peeve - not interacting with the customers. My Hooters Girl had a little small talk with me when I would ask her questions, like "how long have you worked here?" and "are you from this area?" (It's supposed to work the opposite way - they are supposed to be the ones showing interest in the customers and asking them questions!) The rest of the Hooters Girls were seating at a back table, and would go check on their tables long enough to see if they wanted anything, and then went back to that back table.

Wouldn't that be funny if a guy waiter comes serves food in those tight orange shorts?! LOL, I don't think I like eating at Hooters. The food are really over the price. It's burns the wallet badly, plus it isn't that bad to start with. The staff are super nice, but also super busy to order anything. It took a while, to get our food because the place had a bad vibe to it. I think it's the amount of older horny gentleman yelling out rauchy comments. I don't see this as a family place at all!! The only thing can made up the bad services was the Happy Birthday song for my friend's birthday. He did I am little tea pot in front of everybody. Funny as hell. Still little to nothing service.
