Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

ok, on my last venture to the great five dollar buffet, i found out they will make any pizza on their menu and bring it out to your table, even if its not on the buffet line. that's love

This is a sadly run pizza buffet restaurant. Service: 0 stars. Virtually non-existent. Requests for custom pizza is met with discontent. Cashier never made eye contact with me. Location: 5 stars. Great location, right off Haywood in a "strip mall". Plenty of free parking. Price: 5 stars. You can't eat cheaper than this in Greenville. Cleanliness: 0 stars. The place is crawling with dirty dishes, dusty lights, ugly walls, and carpet (gross). Buffet: 3 stars. The selection consists of about 10 - 15 pizzas, but the selection frequently shrunk to about 4 pizzas because the team could not keep up with demand. Very poor rotation of pizza choices. They do have a salad bar, but the lettuce looked old. Quality: 2 stars. They use very cheap cheese and cheap toppings. Resulting taste is below average. Dessert: 2 stars. The cinnamon rolls are good, but nothing but sugar. Overall: I would not recommend visiting this Cici's location, unless you really need to carb load. They are in desperate need of a new GM.

Ok. I've tried hard to be positive about this place, but I cannot any longer. When you walk in, unless you get a drink, you must pay for a bottle of water that can't be refilled with cold water. Perfect. They claim there is no water dispenser, but there is one, but not cold. I guess too many people decided to steal drink products . Thanks to those that have ruined the dining experience for the rest of us. The ice dispenser spits ice out so fast that it's all over the floor and running out of the dispenser. The place is always a zoo like atmosphere, very few clean tables, dirty dishes everywhere and one lonely bus person trying to take care of the whole restaurant. The general public is disgustingly wasteful, taking stacks and stacks of pizza on dishes and then leaving pieces not eaten. I saw one person taking one bite out of each piece of pizza and puts it in a throw away pile that was stacked so high, that it was falling all over the table. Cicis, this buffet has gotten way out of control. We used to enjoy coming in, but it's gotten so disgusting, we won't be back. Raise prices, move the soda machine, hire servers to help clear dishes. Do something.

This was not good pizza, I've had better frozen pies. Pasta is gummy and the sauce is bland. You get what you pay for, but even at $5 this shouldn't be your 1st choice.

Came here on 12/27/13 and Crystal and her staff was absolutely amazing!! I have been here many times to this same location and have never been treated with such hospitality here or anywhere else ever before! I will definitely return more often!!! Thank you so much for making our visit so pleasant! Just have to put in here that we had two kids with us who spilled their drinks also and they politely cleaned them up with a smile...unbelievable! This doesn't mean to purposely spill a drink though!

Staff was very friendly. Food was good to very good. Needs more salad dressing choices. What salad bar doesn't have honey mustard??? Fairly clean. They had one poor fella trying to clean tables. I felt bad so I tipped him directly. I will go back. $4.99 for kids 11 to adult. $2.99 for 10 and under. Drinks are appropriately priced! Adults $1.29, and kids $0.89.

Iama Critic Rating - Cici's Pizza 210 - 2 Stars 583 Haywood Road, Greenville, SC Overall: Chef Iama Critic is a comparative critic who rates food and restaurants in comparison to their competition. Now you would think that at $5.55 the buffet at Cici's Pizza wouldn't have much competition and, on account of its incomparably low price, would earn high ratings. But you would be wrong on multiple counts. First there are other fine, low cost buffets in Greenville. And second, cost isn't the only factor. Quality and flavor matter, that is unless you are only there so your kids can play games or your taste buds don't work. Because when it comes to quality and flavor Cici's falls flat and way off the mark. Scrape the toppings off their average slice of pizza and you find but a smidgen of anything that isn't crust. And in the time we were there we never saw more than a couple of specialty pizzas with more than a few ingredients. The Service - 0 Stars (0%) Service is nonexistent at Cici's. Hopefully somebody rags the tables off before you sit down. But after that you are on your own. We typically provide 20% or more for 5 star service on the pre-tax portion of the bill, 18% for 4, 15% for 3, 12% for 2 and 0% for 1 star service. The Buffet: Salad Bar - 2 Stars The salad bar is meager and small. Not every item was fresh, you had to fluff through it to select the best stuff. It certainly doesn't compare to the bar at Pizza Inn, but if you take your time and pick through what they offer you can find enough to make a decent salad. To make one plate of salad took me five minutes and about four trips to the back of the line so I did not offend other customers by taking too long to make a decent salad. That is just too much work, but my photos were certainly pretty. Pizza - 3 Stars As I already stated the pizza toppings are meager, thin and sparse. An occasional pizza will be served than exceeds the minimum, but none will match what you see on any decent frozen pizza. However the desert pizzas were a bright spot and they are the only reason for the three star rating. I should have stuck with the awesome brownies all night. I would have died of a diabetic coma but at least I would have died happy. Chicken Wings - 2 Stars Small, overcooked and dry. But the buffalo sauce was decent. We didn't actually order these wings. A customer at another table gave them to us after learning we were there to review Cici's. She said she couldn't finish them. No, actually she said she didn't "want" to finish them, and wanted us to rate them. It is never a good sign when strangers start giving you their food they don't want to finish. Soup - 1 Star Well it looked innocent enough. A simple chicken soup with spiral pasta. But this stuff was lethal..... to the nose. It had the rancid smell of dirty dish-water. So bad it was that none of my fellow critics would even try it. I had a customer at another table take a whiff, but she didn't have a critic's olfactory senses. No matter the flavor danger I took a taste of the disgusting liquid. It was utterly abysmal. We seriously suggest avoiding the soup. Total Bill: $24.46 for three people including tax and three soda fountain drink. Final Thoughts: Cici's is simply too cheap to be good. But I suppose they have their loyal customers. But I venture to say it isn't anyone that actually wants good pizza, or people that actually have taste buds.
