Service by Nicole was very good. Food was slow coming out and we saw the cooks outside smoking. I saw them wash their hands upon entering the kitchen. The food was hot.

The service here was great, but the food was lacking. The baby back ribs that I had were sub-par. The sauce was only applied to half of the rack and this killed the flavor in my opinion. My daughter ordered plain tacos, but of course, they arrived fully sauced up. They gladly exchanged them, but it was still lame. If you want an average night out, with average food...this place is for you.

This one of the few restaurants where I enjoy several of the dinner entrees on the menu. The service is always good and I like that we can check out at the table

Seriously????? Why do you ask "how do you want that cooked" if it isn't actually optional? Why do you say we can get a side of mayonnaise when that's not an option? Why do make a server in her first week who is supposed to only have a two table section have more tables than she can handle? Why, when your burgers aren't properly cooked for the second time, do we have to ask the manager to take care of it? These are the questions one must ask before eating here. We did get a profuse apology, which is great but what we really wanted was good food and service in a timely manner. It should not take two hours for two burgers, a quesadilla and a couple of enchiladas.

I remember a time when Chilis put forth effort in their business. I don't know what happened to this place. Food was served soggy which means it sat on the plate in the kitchen longer than it should have. A lunch order of chicken quesadillas took 30 minutes to deliver along with a side of frozen fries.

Lunchtime around 11:30, almost empty. Server seated us promptly and courteous. After ordering, offered salsa and chips. Nothing special. My lunch partners had soup/salad. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad, but asked to substitute grilled chicken. What I got was a slightly undercooked boiled chicken, not grilled. Salad not appetizing, very little bleu cheese crumbles, and too much tortilla strips hidden in the salad. Loaded potato soup did not appear to be homemade nor was the chili. At one point, all five of our drink glasses were empty. We had to ask to have them refilled. A couple of my lunch partners wanted to order more soup and salad but it took so long for the server to get back at they had to forego the "endless" soup and salad. Chilis used to be one of our favs, but this was truly dissappointing. We probably will not be back.

The food is great quality for the price and the portions are huge, especially the triple appetizer plate. Great drinks, great atmosphere, great food - what more do you need?

The new menu is great however The wait time for the food is crazy. Tonight for example we ordered the chicken flatbread and a quesadilla and it took over 25 minutes. That seems to be common for this location. The managers are very friendly and the waitresses are also for the most part. Tonight the waitresses were complaining about another table and although they weren't complaining to us about them they were standing 2 feet away from our table complaining about them.

Always a great place to go in for some drinks and food. The bartender has a lot of knowledge on what he does and helps you out each time with choice of drinks. The staff is very cheerful and courteous. A good place to hang around with friends.

Iama Critic Rating - Chili's - 2 Stars 1209 Woodruff Road, Greenville, SC Our Experience: Chef Iama Critic and Five Star Restaurant Reviews apologizes to anyone who ate at Chili's based on our prior four star review. As a restaurant critic, nothing is more embarrassing than revisiting a restaurant chain that you rated highly and finding out that their quality, service and value have significantly decreased. Our recent experiences at both Greenville Chili's Bar and Grill restaurants were extremely disappointing. The prices have increased, the quality has taken a huge dive, and portions have significantly decreased. From wet tortilla chips, to horrid chili that can only be described as soup, Chili's went from "Highly Recommended" to "I wouldn't feed my dog this slop". The Service - 3 Stars (16% tip) The service we received was average at best. Our waitress did little more than fill our glasses. She was not attentive, helpful or social. If I hated my job that much I would just quit. We typically provide 20% or more for 5 star service on the pre-tax portion of the bill, 18% for 4, 15% for 3, 12% for 2 and 0% for 1 star service. The Food: Table Chips and Salsa - 4 Stars Unlike the table chips at the Haywood Road location, the chips on Woodruff Road were not soaking wet, in fact they were very light and crispy. However, the salsa is bland and boring so we ordered some guacamole. $5.49 Fresh Guacamole - 1 Star Once again our waitress said that this expensive guacamole appetizer was made with two whole avocados. There is no way you can fit two avocados into this tiny cup. Nor is this guacamole fresh. It was obviously several hours old. This guacamole is as poor a value as it is a chip dip. $4.29 Large Bowl of Chili - 1 Star Chili's chili is no longer chili. It is "chili flavored soup" served in a smaller bowl. It is an unholy abomination that lacks meat, lacks beans and frankly lacks everything. If you strained a bowl of this garbage you might have an ounce or two of chewable ingredients. Twice now I have been told Chili's has not changed their chili recipe, but this is a complete fabrication. $2.99 Skillet Cornbread - 5 Stars I generally disdain cornbread because it is almost always painfully dry. But this little skillet of cornbread looked mighty good in the menu, and it looked just as good on our table! Gorgeous, delightful, moist and packed with flavor this cornbread was almost perfect. But this was easily the best item we ate all night. Simply fabulous! $15.49 Trio Fajitas - 2 Stars Apparently Chili's can't cooked fajitas. At the Haywood Road Chili's the entree was your typical mix of beef, chicken and shrimp. But what was not typical was that each ingredient seemed to be cooked separately. The beef was way overcooked, almost burnt, the chicken was great and the shrimp was practically raw. Very strange and for $15.49 you should expect something close to the menu picture, but instead you get this junk. I was hoping for better at the Woodruff Road Chili's but they just burned different items. Same bad expensive fajitas, different chef. Total Bill: $41.67 for two adults including tax, a tip and two $2.79 soda fountain drinks. Final Thoughts: Never have we seen a restaurant chain fall so far so fast. We visited the Chili's on Haywood road and it was so bad that we visited the Chili's on Woodruff the very next day and ordered the same exact meal. All we can say is that we would not recommend either Chili's to your dog! Unless your dog loves cornbread, because that cornbread was fantastic!

Its a Chili's. This is crap food, made with nothing healthy, and slathered in butter and salt. Clog your veins America on cheap food and drive a mom and pop out of business. Do you really want your baby back ribs that badly?
