decent mom and pop pizza. sauce was flavorful the crust was good. I was not knocked off my socks, but it's a good pie. the decor was not to appealing, but prices were fair. staff was attentive but it seems like they need more advertizing.

I hate to say it... But this place is weird. The food, the way the soda tastes, the atmosphere, the smell... All of it. Don't get me wrong, it's not all that bad - just weird. Sort of artificial tasting. My guess is that there's not much that doesn't come out of a can.

Manager was very rude. It was a Friday night and there was me and my husband and another table there. We asked him if there were any specials and he flipped out. We ordered sodas before all this. He pretty much told us nothing is a discount and that this was America and you don't get any deals here. Then he said if we wanted a special then we can get out. We were so shocked about what he said we left because he made me feel so uncomfortable. As we walked out, he told his daughter who was cooking food to ring us up for the drinks. We told him we weren't going to pay for the drinks (there weren't even any straws in the drinks). His daughter told us we had to pay for them because they couldn't "resell them". Whole situation was appalling. We paid for the drinks since they obviously needed the money. One thing I noticed was that when she went from cooking to taking our money, she didn't wash her hands! She went back to cooking after that. When we left, we saw from the window he went up to the only table and complained about us. I can tell they were very uncomfortable about the situation. I would not recommend this place!! I don't think there is anything wrong with asking if there are any specials. He literally flipped out. Don't believe me? Google them and look at the other reviews people said about asking for specials or trying to use a coupon.

Pizza and basic Italian fare just doesn't get any better. I'm from NY/NJ/MA where we know good Pizza and Italian. Benny is a great host and he doesn't know the meaning of "portion control." I always get the eggplant dinner...I've NEVER had better, although his Pizza is great also. For $8.99 you get toasted Italian bread, a big dinner salad, a huge bowl of pasta (his tomato sauce is the best I've ever had...better than Mom's) and then a big dish of eggplant with a big topping of cheese! I'm a big guy and I never take home leftovers...except at Benny's. Try Benny's out...you won't be sorry!! Sadly....Benny's is now closed.

Very good NY style pizza. Better than the other 2 pizza places within walking distance of each other. Good prices. Benny is very friendly. Give them a try!
