My family and I ate brunch here yesterday, on Friday of July 4th weekend. It was our first time at this location (which was a real pain to get to in heavy Woodruff Road traffic). We have dined at Another Broken Egg in Atlanta on several occasions in the past and enjoyed it, so we expected the same here in Greenville. When we walked in, there was a woman complaining to the hostesses about being overlooked and claimed that her buzzer did not go off. We (party of four) were taken back to be seated within a minute, but when we arrived to the table the hostess realized that it wasn't clean yet so she had us walk back to the lobby. This was strange to us since there were about 10 other tables available. In a minute, the hostess came back to seat us. We received our menus immediately, but we sat there for about 10 minutes until the hostess came over to ask us if we had been helped. We told her no, and she apologized and said "I told him that you were his table." We aren't sure who "he" was, but assumed it was the make server we saw taking care of a few other tables. The hostess said she would take care of us, so we ordered drinks and our food all at once. When our food came out in about 15 minutes, only one of the orders was right. We all asked for a biscuit instead of English muffin when we ordered, but only one of us got a biscuit. Our server apologized and said that the kitchen messed up. The staff also wasn't sure which of two similar omelet orders had onions and which one did not, but we figured that part out. Our server said she would get us the three biscuits they forgot, but came back in a few minutes to say that they only had one more biscuit. She offered to make us the two more we needed, but said that it would take 10-15 minutes. She offered us toast as an alternative, but we said we would wait. Our server came back in about 10 minutes to say that they couldn't make anymore biscuits because they were closing soon. She apologized, and I told her that I realize it isn't her fault but that we won't be returning to eat here again. I also said for her to please tell her manager I said that. She apologized again and said that she would. Interestingly, we overheard a party behind us say that they were leaving because they couldn't order biscuits. It's amazing to me that this restaurant was willing to lose two customers over their firm stance over biscuits. Our server came back and offered to have the manager come over if we wanted, and we said no. Assuming our experience and resulting frustrations were communicated to the manager, we were still surprised that no manager ever came by to apologize, offer a discount of some sort, or ask for another opportunity to earn our business. In short, the food was good, the location is (at times) difficult to get to, and the service is awful. I rarely leave reviews, and almost never complain about an establishment, but this experience was so unpleasant that I had to. If you want a good brunch in Greenville, there are much better options. This place isn't going to make it unless the service and attitude improves dramatically.

Good menu and ambiance, but the service was absolutely terrible. Our waiter, Samuel, took our order only to return 15 minutes later to ask me what I had ordered. It took a total of 25 minutes to get our food out to us, which would have been totally understandable if it were busy, but it was a slow Wednesday mid morning. I had the Granola, Fruit, and Quinoa- huge portion and pretty good, but it was very sloppily thrown together. The bananas were literally in a mush pile. My friend had the eggs benedict which was delicious and looked perfect. The waiter was non-engaging and unapologetic about my order. All he said was "the printer is screwed up and didn't get your order". I asked for the check together, and he returns with separate ones and tells my friend that her drink was on the house. I'm a pretty laid back person, but I considered that a little rude. For the price of the food and that kind of experience, I wouldn't return.

Never got any food. We were seated in the outside area, which allows dogs. We were served lukewarm coffee that tasted old. Did not get any silverware to stir the coffee. I had to walk inside to ask another server for some. After 35 mins of no server or any food, we left. The patio area had completed filled up. No one had any food. As we were leaving, there was a 45 min wait and a line out the door.

Our food and drinks were great. However, the service was absolutely awful. Not only was our server unpleasant but she messed up our orders, forgot to bring our apps out, and let our glasses go empty... Would be a great place if the service was better. It's located off Woodruff road, so it's crazy just getting there on the weekends already...doesn't help if the service is awful. That's enough to make you not want to return! Management, hire new staff!!

Big menu selection. Pretty good mimosa & bloody mary (neither was too weak, as I'd expected they would be) Good food, large portions. Somewhat overpriced, but I expected such given the location. The service was really weird. Everyone we encountered seemed apathetic: "oh, you want some food? Um, ok...." dropping off the check at an awkwardly early time (nice during business lunch but inappropriate during birthday brunch) food take too long to come out, our server disappeared for awhile. I may return when I have plenty of time and patience to spare.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I sat at the bar and was literally ignored by the lady working the bar. She worked all around me as if I wasn't there. I continued to try and get her attention while she continued to ignore me.

The atmosphere was nice and casual. The service was average. The food was good, but not worth the price. My overall impression is that it is a great restaurant for people who want to spend a lot more on food than it is worth. Great for those who are looking for the "who's who" of the breakfast dining experience. I would recommend sticking to Cracker Barrel, or Waffle House. My 10-year-old son had chocolate milk, scrambled eggs, bacon and grits. I had two pancakes and iced tea and our bill was $22.75.

Fell in love with this place in Talahassee while I was in college. I think the thing I liked the most was the charm it had. I mean...it was jn a little house on a lake....now they're really expanding and that's great im happy theyre doing so well but...its not as cool. Its almost too commercial now. Food was good, not overly awesome, service was average. The server was attentive but not....awesome. 3.5

Have returned to dine here about three or four times because the food and service have been great. Drinks were always full, orders were prompt and correct and the wait staff nice and professional. Enjoyed the Bloody Mary, city grits, fried green tomato blt and sweet potato waffle. The bacon is very smoky. All the food seemed very fresh too.

Not really a good breakfast place Service - poor Food - bad, in Cooked . They clearly don't know how to poach the egg , one was supper runny and the other one was hard

It was delicious. Loved the atmosphere. The food was hot fresh and delicious. Glad to have the opportunity.

So far my experience here has been mixed. I enjoyed the food but feel the price points were a little too high and the service was extremely slow. Overall the food quality was great with the Beignets standing out as the best I've had in Greenville, so definitely get those for desert. I do believe that having the option for breakfast at lunch will be great but competing with Stax will be tough for them... Enjoy, Cary

Not impressed at all. This is a wannabe hi end breakfast place. The food is ok but not worth the price for the quality or quantity of food you get. The eggs was not cooked proper. Presentation of the food is not that impressive for a restaurant like this. The wait on a Sunday was almost 1hr, fine but another 45 minutes to order and get your food is pushing it. The staff is not very nice makes you feel like your a burden To them because It's 1:30 and they close at 2:00. The staff is only nice and polite when your leaving. Staff need to be managed. Crackle barrel has just as good of food an better service for half the price. Another broken egg needs to impress an have a wow factor to charge almost $20. A person for there breakfast.

Finally, an awesome brunch place on Woodruff! My friend and I ordered two meals and shared... Lobster and Brie was amazing! Shrimp and grits was great as well. Our server did a great job and manager came by to check in on how we were doing. Looking forward to going back!

Has been open for about three months here. My wife and I love the one in Sandestin. I had the Lakeside Skillet. Fantastic! Their coffee rivals Starbucks. My Server was knowledgeable and supportive.

Best breakfast in Greenville! Spacious enough for large groups and children as well. Bananas Foster is to die for. Also, when cooking over easy eggs, There is a very fine line between being not done and over cooked-- they managed to do this perfectly. Added to that, my bacon being perfectly crisp will insure that we come back over and over again.

It was nothing out of the ordinary. The prices were a bit high for regular food. The wait was miserabley long. It was so busy and crowded. Granted we went on a Sunday but it was just insane. The service wasn't even that good. We have opted to go elsewhere for breakfast since.

Food was good tasting...way over priced..The service was awful..The wait on food was ridiculous. . We will never eat here again..

I am happy to have another breakfast place in Greenville. I love pancakes and not enough resturants make good pancakes. Another broken egg makes good pancakes. The bacon was a bit soft for me but I would order it again. The pancakes fell apart,I thought that was a little odd. I would return.

Two eggs looked like one overcooked egg and I'm certain my sausage patties were in fact ground beef. Overpriced and also very slow. I don't imagine this place will survive very long in Greenville. My wife did enjoy her sweet potato pancake but it was not as good as other breakfast establishments in Greenville.

I've been twice. The wait was long and the kitchen slow today. I really enjoyed the food. It was presented well and was tasty. I wish the service and performance were better. By the way, the cinnamon rolls may be the best in Greenville.

super busy on a Sunday @ 10am, not worth the wait. the food is bland and the service is slow. the drinks and apps tho, now those are good, tho everything is a bit on the pricey side. wouldn't choose to go back. we did call ahead seating and thank god we did, we waited a good bit, but others walking in the door were quoted a 1.5hr wait...

I had great service. I ordered French toast and grits and it came out quickly. The food tasted great and it was plenty of food. I would recommend this place.

Dropped by a little after 1pm for lunch. Food was quite good though I'm not sure if an omelette with potato cubes and muffin are worth $16. Maybe it was the OJ that jacked the price. :/ My assigned waiter did not take my order even though I was told repeatedly he was coming. He breezed by after someone else took my order. He did bring the food so I guess that is something. Mostly he ignored me. Even though I liked the food, I don't think I will be back at these prices.

Checking this place out, since it just opened in my area and I have to say I was not impressed. Looking at the prices, I assumed I was going to be impressed by the food. To my dismay, the food was basic and nothing special. My order was wrong and on top of that, the waitress was unprepared from the start of her introduction. Overall, I doubt I will return and stick to my other breakfast spots in Greenville.

We visited "Another Broken Egg" this morning. My husband and I, with our two year old son. We both got the Hawaiian French toast with the added on eggs and breakfast meat. We both got our eggs scrambled. When they came out, they looked to be made from powdered eggs. My sausage I ordered was about room temperature, but tasted good. The French toast was great. The coffee was about Folgers/Maxwell house quality. The service was ok, nothing special, nothing terrible. The prices are a little silly. 6.98 for my sons meal. We spent close to $50 for an ok experience. Most likely won't return.

We read reviews while we waited for our food but decided to eat here anyway. Sorry but that was a mistake. Service was ok. We got everything we asked for but didn't care for coffee in a to go cup when folks after us got mugs. Eggs were the way I like them...hard and brown. Did not care for sausage at all. In fact after two bites I put it in my husband's plate. Grits not hot and bland. I could have purchased a two pound bag for less than the $2 I paid for them. Nothing really made this meal worth the &23 we paid for it. Won't be returning.

The cinnamon roll french toast was great. The pancakes were awful - super salty and fell apart. My pancake loving children, who have never met a pancake they didn't like, could barely eat them. There was nothing redeeming in the eggs and bacon. I wouldn't tell someone not to go - maybe the other stuff is better, but we won't be back. We left feeling like we wasted nearly $50 (2 kids meals, 2 grown up meals)

Another winner for Greenville. Had the wonderful baked brie appetizer and also the biscuit beugnets are to die for. The main course included a tasty Huevos Rancheros and very good omelet. The choices are numerous and all looked terrific at the tables around us. The atmosphere is very nice and the decorating touches are many and add to the overall experience. Hours are limited 7a - 2p, but we will be back often.
