Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Great, fast service. Food was fresh and tasty.

Went to lunch with friends and really had a great time. The food was incredible all around. I had their daily special Chicken Cannelloni and it was fabulous and generous in portions. My wife had a stir fry which she said was terrific. One friend had their lamb chops and commented that they were great. And our other friend had one of the many salads they have on their menu and she enjoyed it enormously. Our server, Krittle, did a great job, especially helping my wife find a gluten free item. Can't wait for an excuse to go back.

I have been to Adam's several times. It is one of my favorites. The price and quality are amazing! My favorite dish is the chicken sonoma. Their sides are extremely good as well. I love the sauteed green beans, macaroni, grilled apples, and mashed potatoes. I always have enough food for 2 meals. My only complaint is in the garlic bread and side salads. I recommend ordering your side salad with dressing on the side, mine is always drowning. Also, the last time we went I was served garlic bread that was a little overdone. But overall delicious food and the service is good as well.

Lamb chops, sautéed spinach and grilled Fuji apples and great service. Food was exceptional and served really fast! Dollar for portion was fair and the flavor / quality was exceptional. A very diverse menu with something for everyone. Great for family or business meals.
(4)Ken Y.
Food was wonderful and the service was just as good. Hope to try something new the next time.
(4)M G.
Great Bistro! Had lunch with a girlfriend and my dad. All of our food was amazing. The service is incredible too.
(5)Cary A.
This place is top notch for lunch. Every entree I have tried has been wonderful! The menu is quite diverse and extremely broad. This would be a great place to go if you have a bunch of picky eaters as there is definitely something for everyone. The price points are right where they should be for quantity and quality. I especially enjoy the large entree salads with the Cobb sticking out as one of the best in town. Service is acceptable and I have never sat wanting anything without someone being right there to satisfy my request. It can get busy during lunch so go a little early... Definitely give this place a shot! Enjoy!
(4)Cheryl M.
Omg! This place was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food and the service was very good.

When I tell you that Adams Bistro is one of my MOST favorite places to eat...!! I have been frequenting this establishment for the past three years and I've NEVER been disappointed. Most times I eat there at least once a week...sometimes twice a week. I'm in there so much that they know my name!! There is such a great variety of food to choose from and everything is very well prepared. I could eat a whole pot of collard greens alone!! The grilled chicken salad, spinach dip, buffalo chicken sandwich on puta bread...I could go on and on! The staff if efficient and friendly. I am a FAN!!!
(5)Tom D.
This place actually comes close to a 5 star rating from me - not because I'm, but because they do things really good. My steak was cooked to perfection and had just the right about of flavor - they didn't bog it down or cover it up with any fancy BS sauce - it was just simply cooked. My back potato was also excellent - wasn't fond of the Zucchini, but that's mostly because I'm not fond of goat cheese. There was a little mix up between sweet and unsweetened tea - but they got it right after a second try. There is seating outside and inside - extensive menu - maybe a bit too much actually - give yourself some time to check everything out. I think the deserts are a bit pricey, but they claim to be sharable - I just hope the $3.50 charge for sharing doesn't apply. The price, cleanliness of the place were also good, but the server was just a bit on the odd side - not sassy or mean or slow - just odd - almost cold to a point. Sorry I can't really describe her very well - bit overall - a solid four stars and I'd go back for that steak many times!
(4)Nikki J.
Normally a favorite place to eat and usually wonderful for picking up dinner. Not so today. Ordered 3 salads all with extra lettuce. Came home and was so sorely disappointed with the contents I called them to mention it. The customer service was so poor that they have lost me as a customer and it actually makes me upset to say that. A touch of courtesy and a small apology was all I needed but instead they questioned everything I said. Dick move Adam's Bistro.
(2)Robert P.
Surprised they're still in business. Mama Mia, frozen garbage from a mean and angry old lady.
(1)Pablo V.
Good experience. Had the Bistro Melt and the Strawberry Chicken Salad. Staff was friendly. Food had great flavor. Recommend the clam chowder and the mac and cheese.
(5)Brandy B.
The first time I came here, it was pretty good. I got a spaghetti meal and it was delicious. Today I got the veggie stir fry. The flavor is good but the veggies were swimming in sauce. The dining experience is nice. The waitress was really friendly. The hostess was a little annoyed that we didn't want a 2 top by the door. Definitely worth coming here, I'm sure you will like your meal.
(4)Cheryl P.
Didn't know what to expect when I got here and the menu was intimidating until I saw the lunch special. I ordered the country fried chicken with mac and cheese and collard greens. OMG! It was delicious. Must eat here again......
(5)Shane T.
My fiancé and I went here on a date and thoroughly enjoyed it! Amazing staff and great food! If you are in Greenville, definitely stop by! I got the bistro melt and even though it was one of the cheaper items, it was amazing and a lot of food! 5 stars on this one. Definitely going back!
(5)Kat T.
Love this place!! Great atmosphere and food! I accidentally checked that they have delivery which they do not.
(5)Thuy Vy D.
Love love love this place! Definitely recommend the country fried chicken or steak with their sides of Mac & cheese and sauteed mixed vegetables! I can just never get enough of it!
(5)Katerina S.
Great customer service, food is fresh, delicious and comes out super fast despite how busy the place is during lunch.
(5)Connie G.
Under $20 for osso bucco would be double in big cities. Good food, good prices and huge portions!
(4)Steven S.
Very cool place a little off beat in its location can get very crowded depending on what time you get there food was fabulous service staff was spot on drink specials were very enjoyable would highly recommend
(4)Karlie B.
So many choices! Food and Service was great! I went with classic meat and veggies but can't wait to go back!
(5)Brian B.
Easily a 5/5. I have tried probably half of the menu, and it is amazing. If you are getting a salad, or the loaded potato soup, or the shrimp and grits, or the Ossobuco, you will get getting some of the best quality in South Carolina this side of Charleston.
(5)Koty P.
Had the meat and 2 and it was awesome. Went with the hamburger steak with onions and gravy, sides of homemade mashed red potatoes and Mac and cheese. Service was great. Will return for brunch too one day.
(5)Kel T.
This place was much busier than we thought it would be to be located on the quieter side of Pelham Rd. It seems like they could benefit from a larger space. Four of us were seated immediately but the location of our table left much to be desired. They have a small area to the left when you walk in that is about 8 feet wide that has two tables squeezed into it. Although a nice little dark, intimate area, it had no air flow and it was very, very warm. A fan blowing into that corner would be a great idea. They now have a liquor license, and both the red and white house wines were very good. We noticed people still bringing coolers in with their own beer and wine so this is still an option at least for the time being. We were served our drinks quickly by our friendly waitress and our food was brought out much faster than we thought it would be. The food had a nice presentation and the servings were large. My mediterranean shrimp pasta was chock full of large shrimp, penne pasta, tomatoes and kalamata olives with a pesto sauce. It was tasty but the pesto was way too oily on the bottom so I only ate off the top of the dish. My husband said his steak was tough but edible. Our friends enjoyed their pasta and fish dishes. Although not completely sold on the place, we may be willing to try again. They have a very diverse menu with many choices to please everyone so it's a good place to go if you don't know what you're hungry for.

This used to be a great place. Then they started to charge corkage at $5. Tonight I went and it was $10 corkage. $10? No one charges $10 corkage per bottle. Utterly ridiculous. If you are trying to make money from your liquor license this is not the way to do it. Because I'm never coming back. Get rid of your liqour license and let us BYOB like we used to because that was the best thing about Adams. Now you all just seem like greedy owners and you will lose a lot of Business. Your food is good but it's not cheap. That's how you make your money. Not charge $10 for corkage per bottle. This is greenville, not New York.
(2)Stephen P.
Really fantastic food! really. To be tucked up into a strip mall beside a gym, the meal quality was spot on. And our server was punctual and friendly. I would give this restaurant 5 stars if the owners would hire a professional decorator to "re-do" the amateurish and confusing decor. That aside, this is a definite must for anyone in the Vile whos bored with the downtown crowd.
(4)Dan M.
Used to be better. Back to the bistro after a long hiatus. Not what it used to be. Salad was already prepared. Had been ready for a long while in our dishes. Server was in s big hurry. Constantly pulling dishes from our table like she couldn't wait to turn it for the next tip. Never felt so rushed.
(1)Mary D.
I had heard great things about Adam's Bistro so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. The spinach dip was amazing for an appetizer and was more than enough for two people to share. However, the scallops I ordered were pretty pricey and tasted very strange. I don't think the meal was worth the $73 we spent and our server didn't even say thank you when leaving off our check.
(3)Jeff B.
I may try this place again but I doubt it. Potato salad tasted like it came from the local Publix. Shrimp Scampi WAS NOT SCAMPI and $9 for 4 shrimp seemed silly. My wife's salad was fine and my Buffalo Chicken Pita was OK. It is a BYOB place.
(2)Jay L.
Some of the best casual dining in Greenville. I wish they had a liquor license, but oh well. I take my friends here constantly. The quality of the food is consistent, consistently good!. Staff gets to know you and the service is great! Go here a couple of times a week! A Greenville winner!
(4)Emilie W.

Can't say enough good things about Adams Bistro. Food is outstanding. A step above the rest. This place is always busy regardless of time or day. Local owners who are very pleasant and friendly and are more than willing to talk to you eleven during a busy rush. This place is a gem in Greenville and one of my favorites. Buffalo chicken pita is amazing. So is the Cuban sandwhich, rueben, clam chowder, fried oakrah, grilled cheese, and seared ahi Tuna salad. Big fan of this place. I've never had a bad experience here.
(5)Sam S.
Any place that lets you BYOB I am a fan of. Really why don't more restaurants catch onto this idea! Regardless the food is great with incredible selection. Very friendly service and nice atmosphere.
(5)Todd H.
I patroned Adams Bistro on a reccommendation of a friend. I have passed this place countless times without realizing it was there. The food did not disappoint. I ordered the pork chops. Although I prefere pork chops with the bone in they were delicious and very juicy. I would definately return. Great food for the price.
(3)C B.
Very impressed with food and service. The mixed vegetables as a side are probably the best mixed veggies I have ever had -- fresh, lightly cooked and seasoned, tasted wonderful. I had the grilled scallops and my husband had the lightly (very light -- great) flounder; both were excellent. It's a small place in a strip mall, apparently a mother/son owned business, not sure, but whoever, it is wonderful. Prices are reasonable, portions and bigger than many small restaurants. We are here for a month and definitely will go back.
(5)Christian F.
Great service! Tremendous variety on the menu! Delicious food! Location is the only drawback. A little cramped but still nice atmosphere!
(4)Lee B.
Ate their the first time last week and both the food and the service were incredibly good. I accidentally ordered the chicken fried steak instead of fried chicken and boy am I glad. It was the best chicken fried steak I have ever had the pleasure of eating. They use tender, real steak...not the typical garbage most places use which must beaten with a meat tenderizer to make it palatable. Their fried okra and chicken fried steak were perfectly fried and not overly greasy. The Jasmine rice was perfectly cooked and their potato skin appetizers were fresh and not over-cooked or chewy. Everything was very, very good and well worth the $.

We have been fans of Adam's Bistro since it opened several years ago. We have found nothing on the menu that is not excellent. The burgers are fantastic, the meat and threes are wonderful, the stir fry is outstanding. The service is quite attentive but not disruptive. Our one complaint is the noise level that sometimes develops because it is a small-ish restaurant and a loyal clientele that usually keeps the place full during lunch and dinner hours. For us, it is by far the best quick food in Greenville. Btw, have taken Chicago foodies to AB and they now there every time they hit town.
(5)Michael T.
