Walked out after we placed our order. Tons of dead flies in window and flying around the restaurant. The waitress didn't even care, she laughed. We paid $5 for waters and left. The health grade was a C. Can't imagine what the kitchen looked like if the dining area is that gross!

At the entrance of the restaurant A woman was sitting in an outdoor booth smoking and after a long exhale towards us told us to go on in that someone would be with us shortly. We went on in this nautically decorated place, seated ourselves , waited 10 , never greeted , left . sad place.

We recently bought a home in the historic district of Georgetown and Wild Fish Grill is our favorite, inexpensive walk-to place for casual dining. Great food, cold beer and friendly servers. What more could you ask for? We go back regularly. LOVE the black & blue burger.

I recently came in and had a few shrimp tacos and the blue cheese mac-and-cheese. The tacos were alright, but there as a problem with the mac-and-cheese. Some ingredient, possibly the cream, had gone really, really bad and it was disgusting. I sent it back and then asked the waitress if they chef tried it to see what I was talking about, and she said no. Then I asked her if the chef tasted it before he sent it out, and she said that they trust their 'recipe ratios' and "chefs don't taste the food here." [Direct quote.] And that is why I will never eat there again. There's something wrong with the training in a kitchen where the chefs are not tasting the food they send out. That means when something goes wrong, it happens in the customers' mouths. This kind of incompetence needs urgent correction.

The shrimp and grits were a little spicy. The cornbread was dry. The fried fish dinner was over cooked and very dry. I don't think I will come back.

Delicious! Had the blueberry BBQ Mahi tacos. Yum! My friends had the palm shrimp and grits and angry ahi tacos. None were disappointed.

This restaurant menu states an entree comes with one one side item. We placed an order for our entrees and side items. When the bill came we were charged for the side items. I brought this to the attention of the waitress. She told me the menu was wrong and the entree did not come with a sided. I told her that we should not have been charged for the side since the menu said we would get one. The waitress said she would check on it. She came back and said she couldn't do anything about it. I told her then the menu should be changed. The waitress said they could not do that because it was the only menus they had which made no sense. This place made no effort to do anything. BEWARE if you eat there.

Great food, however, every ketchup bottle was empty, my partner had to go to the bar to get a refill. And, it was murderously hot in the place, as well as we had to fix the wobbly table. Hamburger ordered medium, was cooked well. Let's do a little better

The decor is cool and the food was fairly tasty, but the wait to get our meal was PAINFULLY long. It also took forever to get our check. Lastly, I thought it was rather petty to charge $3 for a cup of apple juice. $6 for drinks for a four-year-old and a six-year-old???

We came here on a weekday and the place had plenty of room. The decor is tasteful and the menu selections are great. Our waitress was not so great, with awkward exchanges (such as, do you have a beer list or can you at least tell me the beers you have on draft; no? I guess I will stand up and strain my eyes that way??) long delays for various reasons of which I will not get in to. The food is good but with some exceptions. I do hate to order something and get something completely unexpected. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was teaming with long strips of three types of peppers and onions. It was totally unnecessary, not to mention I happen to hate peppers! That being said, after removing every single pepper, the grits had managed to not suck in that pepper flavor and were still excellent and the shrimp were fresh and yummy as well. It's worth giving another shot and perhaps I'll update my review then. Good food is hard to come by in Georgetown, and this place definitely came through there.

We are new to the area and have been back twice now for the Blueberry BBQ mahi mahi tacos. Different than anything I've ever had in tacos ... Surprisingly delicious. Fish is cooked perfect!

This is my second time my boyfriend and I checked out Wild Fish. If you are looking for a reasonable place to eat lunch and grab a cold one, look no further. The food is fresh and the staff is very nice.

Was in town for business and wanted something other than the usual places. Found this on Yelp and it sounded decent so I walked down and checked it out. Looked like a laid back kind of place, walked in and sat where I wanted. Ordered the Ahi Tuna for Appetizer and it was great! Ordered the shrimp and grits for dinner and it was very good also. While there a guy was setting up to play music, he started while I was there and it was good music, not too loud and he interacted with the crowd. There is a bar also with plenty on the beer and drink menu.

Stopped in for lunch. Grilled shrimp tacos were bland and don't think they were local. Clam chowder was cream without clams or potatoes. Fries green tomatoes were good, as was the service.

We have eaten here several times because the food is really good. We just went Saturday evening and were surprised not many people were there. My husband had the shrimp and grits and said it was the best he has ever had. I had cheese fries and salad. I don't eat a lot of meat. We love it though. Will be back. The owner is also really nice and so was the wait staff.

Krazy Fish may have closed, but new owners reopened her as "Wild Fish"... I think about 7-months ago. Most recently under new ownership but still with a rockin' menu this restaurant is now Wild Fish Grill. The Krazy is gone, but the fish remains and it is wild! Ashley our waitress explained. It was Father's Day and the other offerings (at least the ones opened and serving their full kitchen menu) along the waterfront were stale and not where I wanted to spend my hard earned cash this particular day. So we walked on down the way... and the issue with Wild Fish is that is just a touch off the beaten path (easily missed by those not in the know). The Clam chowder with thick and chunky with awesome bits of clam. That opened things up for the rest of the meal.... Odd shaped hush-puppies came to table with a sweet honey-butter on the side. Just enough to satisfy our palate until the entrees arrived. We opted for the Angry Ahi Taco plate... most delicious of what we ordered and certainly one to come back for time and again. The other was the Fried Flounder Taco plate... OK, but not great, would have to say my next order would be the calamari taco. Considering the competition, this place should be number 1 or 2 on your list if you have to pick and choose something affordable and well worth your $. SaleebScore: Service 8/10, Food 9/10 (for imagination and presentation and flavor), Overall 8.5/10

Great food, service and atmosphere. A little off the beaten path, a couple of blocks away from all the other restaurants but well worth it. Once you try the food you will come back. Sunday Brunch is definitely worth a try!

Wicked good menu, servers, food and fun - right up MY alley! Sat at the bar for a beer, the $4 advertised Fireball (chilled, of course), and a light dinner. Wow - did we luck out! The menu is fairly extensive, and while I don't do spicy and don't like cilantro, the taco choices were interesting. The bartenders told us about the most popular items on the menu, and we went with the odd-sounding blueberry BBQ mahi taco, served with 1 side dish. For that we chose the fried grit cake, also a staff suggestion. Well, the grit cake was a crunchy-on-the-outside, creamy inside surprise treat. Not the "patty" sized cake I was imagining, but a delectable and texture rich, slightly spicy, baked potato sized serving. Oh yeah, the taco: beautiful! 2 soft tacos loaded with bite-sized pieces of grilled mahi and the house slaw, topped with a drizzle of the blueberry BBQ sauce. Complex, tasty, and pretty, too! After a discussion with one of the owners about the origin of the sauce, we were given a small container of the unusual sauce to take home. We found a fun restaurant/bar with an out of the ordinary menu and true southern hospitality. A winner on all counts.

Simply awful. I live locally, tried this place for the 1st time for lunch. What a disappointment. The server recommended the blueberry BBQ mahi mahi tacos. Comes with one side.I chose the side salad. My friend had ahi tuna over salad. We both had ice tea. Tea was served in Styrofoam cups and utensils were plastic. We were given real silverware after asking for it but why would you use plastic silver and throw away cups in a sit down restaurant? Lettuce was 100 % iceberg. Tomatoes on salads were almost green, there was one piece of cucumber and a tiny bit of cheese.Gross. Mahi was dry and overcooked,so overcooked it looked like chicken. BBQ sauce was cold and jellied with no flavor. The rest of the taco was bland and the cilantro cream promised in menu description was missing or so bland I didn't know it was there. Plates were plastic but looked real. My friend's tuna was ordered medium-rare but came out rare. It was encrusted with sesame seeds but the tuna was so undercooked the seeds were raw. Our server was friendly but very annoying. Order got mixed up and she ranted about the kitchen. The food was so poorly prepared maybe she is tired of hearing the complaints. This place is more of a hang out for the bar, food is the after thought. It's cute on the inside but if the food is awful who cares? With local spots like Rice Paddy and Al Fresco Bistro there is no way this place can compete and make it. I own a local retail business and people ask me everyday where to eat, I will tell them where NOT to eat that's for sure.

I had read about another restaurant down the street and had planned to eat lunch there but as I passed by the Wild Fish Grill I noticed the "Specials" board and it caught my attention. The Blackened Catfish served over grits with a Blackeyed Pea Salsa and a side of cornbread didn't disappoint. The fish was cooked perfectly and the Blackeyed Pea salsa was absolutely delicious - a perfect combination served over the grits! The warm hush puppies served with honey butter before my meal arrived more than made up for the cornbread which was a little dry. Would definitely go back if in the area again.
