I stop in here regularly when I come into town but I recently had the chicken perlo because it was the blue plate special, and it was really dry and flavorless. Really disappointing. And $3 for a cup of soda? Sheesh.

We had breakfast at Thomas Cafe while on vacation and we had a great meal. The menu is quite extensive for breakfast and they have your typical breakfast stuff plus some unique items like a seafood omelet. My husband ate the seafood omelet and it looked good! It was a giant plate of food! I ordered the prince george breakfast and it was great! I ate everything on my plate. My kids had the french toast and it was so good as well. The waitress was very nice too. This place is a local restaurant, don't think many tourists visit this which is nice. It is not a big place and it was packed by the time we left. The prices were great! I wish we had a place like this close to home :)

Stopped here for lunch on a road trip, and was pleasantly surprised at this place. Unassuming space with local charm. The food was fresh and tasty, and the fruit cup that my kid got with her grilled cheese was awesome!

This is a place where the locals like to go, and to me, that's a good thing! The food was really good, as well as the service. This cafe is in the Historic district of Georgetown, SC. There were plenty of other restaurants around but we wanted just a quick bite before heading back up the coast. It was also reasonably priced. My husband had the flounder basket, which comes with home fries and cole slaw. The home fries are awesome! They're obviously made right there - not frozen. I had the special- the corned beef & cabbage, which I was told was made only at this time of year. That is unfortunate, because it was a tasty treat! This special also came with 3 sides (and there are plenty to choose from). I had extra cabbage, cole slaw, and mixed fruit. They had the specials and sides written up on the blackboard so it made me think the sides also changed from time to time. Highly recommended for a tasty, quick lunch.

Traditional local diner. Large menu. Very cheap. Great service. Food is not life changing, but it gets the job done with a smile.

The best Shrimp & Grits ever and for less than ten bucks! Must stop if you are in Georgetown!

Such a great place for breakfast. While the restaurant itself could use some updating, the staff is very friendly and the food is better than average. I recommend the omelettes and the biscuits and gravy.

Great food, I had the blueberry pancake and it was perfect. Light and fluffy, just the right amount of blueberries. I was with a party of five, the food was all delivered at the same time with not long of a wait.

Stopped in on our way back to the Myrtle Beach airport. It was the only place open on the quaint downtown of Georgetown, SC. Friendly service and good food, typical small town cafe with booths, a breakfast bar, and old styled refrigerators in the back. Really nice place. Ordered a breakfast for around 6 bucks, included two eggs, grits, 3 pancakes, and sausage. The coffee was hot, fresh, and quickly refilled, perfect little breakfast joint.

Ate here for lunch...it is only open for breakfast and lunch. A typical country restaurant, has sandwiches and sides on the lunch menu, but also have daily special. I had chicken dumplings (the special) with sides of fried okra, macaroni and cheese, and rice and gravy. The chicken and dumplings were quite good; I didn't have to add any pepper, which I typically have to add at other restaurants. Service was quick. If I were in town on a regular basis, I'd probably eat here for lunch once a week. If you're in town during lunch and are looking for good, small town lunch fare, this place should do fine by you.

This is not a fancy place. It has the feel of an old fashioned local diner. News papers on the counter, old style refrigerators and excellent home cooked to order meals. Beth out server always has a smile and makes us feel right at home. Breakfasts and lunches are made fresh and are worth the extra wait. Sit back relax and read the paper and enjoy the small town feel.

Love the food here breakfast and lunch is great. Must try the shrimp and grits. Small dinning area but usually can get a table. They have a few tables at the door for big groups. Friendly staff and great sweet tea.
