Delicious homemade ice cream & candies! We brought the family for ice cream & tried almost every flavor. All were great! Also bought pralines which was awesome!

Cute little confection shop on a quaint small-town main street. Homemade ice cream was wonderful (maybe around 12 different flavors); they offer milkshakes too! There were many benches along the street to enjoy our treats and watch life go by. The wide variety of chocolates and sweets were delicious and fun. We tried the chocolate frogs, 3 different kids of turtles, coconut clusters, mint bark, choco-covered graham crackers, mint chocolate-covered Oreos and of course, their famous pecan pralines. All very good! The only detractor was the woman behind the counter - - she wasn't rude, but not very welcoming either. Sweeten up!!

Delicious treats with great variety! Their pralines are so good. And I love the yelp offer they have available currently. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Georgetown!

Sweetie's sure managed to pack a lot of fun into such a tiny shop. My kids loved catching sneak peeks of the chocolate molds in the ice cream freezer, and their fudge was outstanding. No one in their right mind would ever consider Georgetown to be a major tourist destination or anything, but you could certainly do a whole lot worse for stocking stuffers and Easter basket fillers.

This is a unique place on the inlet of Georgetown, SC. It's a must stop if you're in the area. They have the best pralines and creative chocolate you could imagine. I can't say enough about how delicious their candy is. I haven't had anything like it. some of my favorites are the pralines, pecan toffee, turtles and ice cream. You really can't go wrong with any of it!

I love the fact that proceeds from this go to South Carolina cares. We to word the wildlife sanctuary today and it was very impressive. The candy that we bought at the shop was delicious everybody very much enjoyed it. The ice cream parlor and candy shop is very old-fashioned like a Victorian candy shop. The Candy itself is just delicious. Love it.

This candy store has very delicious treats. Something for everybody! We just had dinner and were walking around the waterfront. My daughter wanted something sweet so we went in. The owner was there waiting on everyone. There was a bit of a line so I looked at the pictures posted of the animals rescued. I recognized the owner in the picture with the rescued emaciated horse. The people that run this store are doing a good thing so twice the reason to go here! Delicious sweets and help for creatures that desperately need it!

Great ice cream parlor. It has everything a sweets lover needs, shakes, ice cream, chocolate pralines etc. On a hot day their ice cream was amazing, not too creamy and not too sweet, just perfect. We've tried black raspberry, peach, chocolate chunk, vanilla, pistachio and pineapple and cappuccino with chocolate chunks. Black raspberry was my favorite flavor.

One evening last August, my husband and I were strolling down the sidewalk of picturesque Georgetown SC. We were on vacation, and taking in the sights. Just when I said I was looking for some homemade ice cream on a cone, we found Sweeties! It had just closed for the evening, but we didn't know that. The lights were on, the door was open, and the Victorian look from the sidewalk was so inviting, we went in. The whole place looked like an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, and the owners cheerfully waited on us, proudly offering free samples of their homemade toffees, pralines, and nut crunches. My husband and I each ordered some of their homemade ice cream, which was fantastic! Their vintage-looking glass display cases were filled with fancy home-made chocolates, and a sign said they'd ship anywhere. We bought a small bag of their pecan toffee for the road - it was perfect - buttery, crunchy, and waaaay too good to last very long! The place was so cute, we took lots of photos that I hope to post here. While I was taking the pics, I noticed lots of photos on the wall of animals. Not just dogs and cats, but pigs, horses, you name it. It turns out that the owners also run a no-kill animal shelter, and they run Sweeties to provide the funds to run the shelter. They really are sweeties! This Xmas I'm ordering from Sweeties! (Just found their website: sweetiessweets.com )

Cute place. We didn't try the ice cream only some candy's. The chocolate and praline fudge and the peanut butter cup were pretty good but did not live up to my expectations based on other reviews. Nothing was bad but none of the items we tried were outstanding. Sweetie's is worth a try if you have a craving for a little something sweet.

Sweeties was anything but sweet. When my family and I walked in we were greated with an eye roll and a sigh. The entire interaction with the clerk was uncomfortable and anything but welcoming. We were unable to enjoy anything because of the clerks attitude. Local children that were at the store received the same icy treatment and they were trepidatious to purchase anything. Sadly the clerk made everyone wish we had went to the other ice cream place down the street. If you're looking southern hospitality don't go here.
