Was skeptical of eating at a diner along the interstate, but turned out to be a positive experience. Fried pickles are amazing!! There are six fried quarter-spears served, and they have a mild spicy kick. Ask for ranch dressing for dipping. Ordered a BLT on a wrap and added a strip of chicken to ensure adequate protein. Holy cats - the additional chicken was unnecessary, as the BLT included a very generous portion of bacon. SO delicious!! Wish I had saved room for dessert: they are made from scratch and look delicious in their refrigerated glass case. Wheelchair access is in diner & bathroom is good. Would definitely dine at Clock's again - nice gamble!

This a great meat and three place that we visit on the way to or from the Charlotte airport. There is always a great selection and the food is always very good. Quick and friendly service, too.

The clock was right on time. I had hamburger steak, cabbage, black eyed peas with 2 dinner rolls. Then I got a homemade cheesecake to go back to my hotel. The food was great!!! The service was fast and good. If you are in Gaffney go to the clock off exit 90 interstate 85.

Visited today on return home to ATL for lunch. My husband had fried flounder with sides green beans & coleslaw. I had the half rack of Baby back ribs with fried potato skins and coleslaw. First off, we noticed while waiting for our meal that most plates from empty tables had more than half their food thrown out. That should have given us a clue. The flounder per my husband was dry, over cooked, coleslaw was just shredded cabbage no flavor; string beans tasted like can. The only saving grace was the ribs, they were fall off the bone tender. This establishment does not rate 4 stars. They need better cooks.

Ok so with all the other reviews we had better hope for this little place. We wanted to try something different traveling from Charlotte to Atlanta. So its get a 2 due to the service and niceness of the waitress. There were 3 of us and 2 meals were ok not great and 1 was really bad. The potato bacon soup was kind of bland and his club was ok. My chicken wrap was very bland and when you taste the wrap more than anything else you know it's bland. The bad was the ribeye. She thought it was very chewy and non edible. It wasn't quite cooked medium like she asked either. She didn't complain till they asked us if the food was ok. She told them no and they asked her if she wanted anything else and she said no. We didn't want anything free she just wanted them to know. So unfortunately we cannot recommend this place and will not return.

You never know when your traveling whether it will be a hit or a miss. This was definitely a hit. The food, service, and price were all fabulous. The menu reminds me of a silver dollar but the quality is a lot better. Three of us had Greek and it was very authentic. This will be the place to visit on future trips.

These high ratings for the Clock? I don't begrudge these other Yelpers. I mean, we can get all philosphical about relativism vs. objectivism in critcal theory, but I've already done that in a prior review because I'm an insufferable asshole. Anyway, relative to other establishments nearby, I'm sure the Clock is superior in every way. Objectively? Uh, it's fine. Nothing special. I don't know what I expecting when I ordered the $11 steak special. I mean, it's an $11 steak. With two sides. Was it a good steak? Again, relative to $11, it was fine. Objectively, it was fatty, thin, and, leaned more towards rare than my requested medium rare. But who am I to complain? The sides were, again, fine. The service was friendly and the waitress kept my Diet Coke filled at all times. So what the hell am I expecting? I dunno. Eh, here are four conditional stars.

We stopped here for a non-fast-food dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the big menu, great service and good food! We would definitely stop here again if we find ourselves in the area!

All I have to say is awesome! All around great place courteous, clean, large portions and low price. Now before you say "low prices must be gross" give it a try you won't be disappointed besides what's your other choice fast food. That's ok I will pass on that..

Love this restaurant! Friendly service, large menu and great prices make this a good location for the entire family. I like the open face roast beef, my friends prefer the club and burgers. You can't go wrong with anything, as far as I've seen. Burgers, steaks, Italian dishes, hot plates, sandwiches and desserts- oh my gosh don't miss the desserts! I often swing by their drive thru just for dessert. Nice atmosphere, good place for a good meal and friendly conversation. Casual attire, couples, families, alone - it's good for everyone.

You could tell the server was having a bad day but I had heard great things about the food so I was not focused on service. I ordered the open faced pork with fried okra and cabbage. The gravy was salty, the pork was dried out but the sweet tea was on point.

Great local place to grab lunch or dinner. They have a huge menu so there is something for everyone. We ordered the fried pickles which were delicious and a little spicy. Then we got 25 wings which had a great flavor and perfect amount if heat. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely will come back here next time I'm at the outlets.

If you are going to the Gaffney outlets or just passing by, this is the place to get a huge plate of home cooked food. The service is excellent and the portions are generous. Save room for dessert!

Highly recommend the Swiss Mushroom burger! I added grilled onions to mine (no lettuce or mayo...just tomato). Perfect with 1/2 and 1/2 FF/OR. WOW!! Kids had spaghetti and chicken fingers. So much food we had to box some up. Server was also great! Our entire family was stuffed! Now I need a nap!!

It was ok...edible...a step down from an Applebee's or chilis but definitely better than fast food options. Not a must stop to eat here.

An associates and I were in Gaffney for business, and decided to check out the Clock, as it was close to our hotel and other recommended it to us. From appearance and menu, the Clock appears to be a typical diner. But the food told us this was not just another run-of-the-mill diner! My Chicken Parmesan was as good as I've had in higher-end Italian restaurants, with lightly breaded chicken that was nice and moist inside. The sauce was tangy and just right. My associate has the Chicken Alfredo and liked it as well. The service was friendly and the meal very affordable. I recommend it!
