Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This is only place we do Chinese take out... It's cooked to order... They don't pull it off of the buffet. Get a combo meal... Lots of combos to choose from... Enough for at least two people or 2 full meals for $6 includes egg roll and 2 chicken wings. General Tos' or Chicken Lo Mein is our favorites. Egg rolls and chicken wings are great too. They also offer buffet to eat in or take out. We just aren't fans of buffets from anywhere.

I went here with friends from work with the promise of having the best Chinese food around. I think their definition of "best" must consist of how much foul food you can pile on your plate. This place was terrible. We arrived for the lunch to find the buffet poorly stocked. As a general rule. I only eat chicken at Chinese restaurants, even when I have the option of ordering from the menu. I tried the Sesame Chicken, the General Tso Chicken and even the simple chicken tenders (or whatever they were supposed to be) and all were equally disappointing. The texture of the chicken in all dishes seemed to contain a great deal of fat, and for lack of a better word. gristle. The Wanton Soup was average and the fried wanton noodles did not really have a great crunch/texture. I think they had crushed them into smaller pieces in an attempt to cover up the fact that they are stale. I checked out the wok station but I did not try anything from there. It didn't appear to have offerings that interest me. I really do not think maintaining the buffet with fresh items is a priority here which is a shame because the hostess told us they always offer the buffet. Overall, this is not a place I could recommend or will try again. It could be a good place to take the kids if you are feeding them on a budget because this food is like the McDonald's Happy Meal of Chinese.

All these people who reviewed this place and said its good... must not have ever eaten Chinese food before. .. I would rather eat chinese from a can then come back here. .. I eat at alot of different places around the country this ranks in the worst top 5... This food is disgusting. . It actually may have ruined Chinese food for a while for me... if I get tge shits or get sick ima be mad!!! However, if you don't care about quality of your food.. Give this place a try its cheap and clean. The service was good as well...

This used to be my favorite Chinese buffet in Florence, but that has changed. The food on the bar looks like it hasn't been refreshed in hours. The salad bar is gross and they often are out of the duck sauce or hot mustard. The seats in the booths are ripped and you can feel the springs when you sit. The wait staff is great and the place seems clean which is why I gave two stars.

After having a less than mediocre meal a couple days before just before closing, my wife and I ate at Lui's again just before lunch hour to give them anpther chance. The food tasted much better since it was fresh and hadn't been sitting out for hours. However, my wife had gotten the hot and sour soup which she's had many times before from other chinese restaurants before with no issue. Upon eating some of it, it turned out to have shrimp in it! My wife is allergic to shellfish. She started having a reaction to it while we were there! Luckily, we had benadryl on hand. Upon researching on her phone, it turns out shrimp is not a normal ingredient to hot and sour soup. It's either pork or tofu or meatless. After telling the waitress about this, she informed the manager who stated they'd call an ambulance if necessary, but did not offer to do anything else. We still had to pay full price for the meal and didn't even get a face to face talk with the manager. I wish I could give 0 stars.

I really really like this place. Outstanding food, and very affordable. The buffet at first may seem somewhat average, but those that meander over to the stir fry wok are in for a very pleasant surprise. Lui himself is usually manning the wok station, and his custom made dishes are as good as it gets around here. The sushi bar, (though not real sushi) is a nice addition to the buffet. The service is minimal since it's a buffet, but the waitresses have always been polite and friendly. This place has always been clean, and has a nice atmosphere. The staff members all speak fluent English. This may seem very silly to mention, but it is much appreciated after communicating with other Chinese dives in town that don't have the language skills to take a simple phone order correctly. Place has been here for 8 years, and I hope for much longer, because I intend on going back often!

One of the best Chinese buffet you can possibly find in Florence. Food is fresh. Service is excellent. Price is very reasonable. If you leave here hungry...it's your fault. Variety is there and the stir fry bar is available to you also. AND they will bring you ice cream. What's better than that!!

I hope visitors from out of town don't eat here and form an opinion of Florence restaurants as a result. The grill buffet is pre-cooked, and the buffet limited. I'm local and have tried them once. I will not go back. The price is reasonable, but that is the only positive I have.
