I guess I expected more, the service was poor, food quality was shabby at best. Deserts were stale, food was either overcooked or had that sugary-msg infused taste. I'm not sure why this got four stars ??? Perhaps the owner and his friends.

You gotta go with the fresh stir fry bar if you go. Everything else is kind of nasty. Stir fry though... that's the ticket.

Typical Chinese buffet with more. They have sushi, pizza, French fries and.a hibachi grill. Always a good spot to take the family.

10 bucks for mediocre food. But has a large selection from pizza to oysters to ice cream. And many other Asian cuisine. So if you don't quite know what you want to eat stop by and give it a try.

Over the years this place has been aging frighteningly ungracefully. The staff has always been pleasant every time I come in but everything else has taken a nosedive. The tables and booths are in serious disrepair so you have to be careful when you sit lest you get a spring prodding your sensitive bits. There seems to be a permanent layer of grease on the floors which can make walking on the already slippery tiles more hazardous. If you aren't slipping, you might be tripping on the cracked tiles. So either way, walk with caution. The good news is the food is still edible but only if you hit them during a relatively busy time. If you happen to come in on a weekday for lunch, expect old food on the hot bars. I'd highly recommend going for the hibachi part if you aren't coming in during a busy time. I took my family in for lunch on a weekday and for the hour we were there I saw a guy changing only one item in the bar out, but he still dumped the old, dried food on top of the fresher food. Still, none of us got sick so that's a plus. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're looking for quantity over quality. Like someone else said, it's basically the Asian Golden Corral now. It's nothing fancy on the inside but the food is usually edible.

Anyone who gets their knickers in a twist over any restaurant with the word "buffet" in the name needs to adjust their meds. This is not fine dining or even dining. It is an opportunity to gorge yourself on whatever offerings are heaped into the troughs for your consumption. It is the Asian Golden Corral. The food was plentiful and unoffensive. The service and staff were both indifferent and invisible and the silverware needed another pass through the dishwasher. The interior of the place is also a little worse for the wear. Many of the tables, chairs and benches need repair. Make no mistake about it, this place is about getting you in and out so they can turn over those tables. You will not be enticed to linger over coffee and dessert here while you discuss your day and the latest round of political debates on CNN or FOX. I have had better food in a buffet setting but not in this area. If the bar is already set quite low then raising it is not often a goal of the competition. If you're expecting quality here, just remind yourself that you are dining in a strip mall restaurant whose neighbors are Dollar Tree and Big Lots. I felt that I ate my money's worth here but then again, I was also up at 3:03 AM writing this review very much in part due to consuming the food. This is what happens when you try to be nice and let someone else pick the restaurant.

This is one of the buffets that has so much food and its only $9.99 for adults and $5.99 for kids. Service is very friendly. The buffet has everything you looking for. I would go back there if i would live there. The only bad part i would say is that the furniture looks old. Other than that perfect place to dine out with the entire family and pay not much for all the food.

Not good food and rude service from the order cook. There is a big selection but the quality is poor.

Ok, so there were multiple fails in my rational for choosing a Japanese restaurant, in a shopping plaza that is anchored by a Big Lots. But it started with ignoring the Yelp reviews and instead taking advice from a redneck whose main concern for choosing this "great" restaurant was obviously portion allowances at the trough known as "buffet extravaganza"(complete with fading echo effect). So, food spread: plenty of American themed Asian fried stuff (and multiple variations of same meats fried different ways), the sushi bar: I'm still shaking my head at the length of time something could sit out b4 the rice hardened, I skipped the dessert bar-o-plenty and pretty much everything else due to concerns for exposure to life threatening health concerns. The service: cordial, The decor: Amurikah's vision of all of Asia So why did I eat here you ask? Because I wanted to believe that I don't judge, and that I'm not (I repeat, not) a food snob. Sadly this experience proved me wrong yet again. I am Judgemental (isn't every yelper), and I am a food snob...so there I said it...

Great price for what you get. $10 adults. $6 for kids. $2 for drinks. Large selection of fruits, vegetables, meats, sides. Etc. they have a hibachi grill at the back that you can go to as many times as you want at no extra charge. Good selection of sushi and you can watch him make it. Amazing. Lots of dessert and soft serve ice cream machine.

Hibachi Grill is my favorite MSG bar in town. It is nicer and has more variety of foods than the one on Irby, Im giving Hibachi Grill 4 stars because its the best Chinese buffet in the vicinity. The food is average but there is a good variety of food and it is big. You can bring larger groups of people and it is convenient.

This is a Chinese buffet in Florence, SC. This is a typical buffet that you would come across. The food was not great but it was also not terrible. Nothing stood out to me and that is why I gave it a 3 star review. The restaurant also was not very clean. It is good if you want a lot of cheap Chinese food, but if you want good quality food I would go somewhere else.

I had low expectations for a generic Asian restaurant in Florence, South Carolina of all places. This place went way beyond what I expected. Keep in mind, this is all relative. It's "4-star Chinese buffet/hibachi/sushi restaurant off I-95 in South Carolina" good. The food was pretty tasty, didn't in any way sicken me, and it was plentiful and cheap. The hibachi is definitely the way to go here. As for the buffet, there's a good range. Curiously for an Asian restaurant, no tofu. Bottom line, I wouldn't seek this place out, but if you're passing through and want to eat somewhere other than a fast food chain, this is a good option.

A really bad experience. Food sits out for long periods of time. Because its a massive buffet, patrons put their hands on food, switch serving utensils in entrees, sneeze and cough over items. We opted for the hibachi bar and while waiting a lady in the line in front of my wife attempted to separate two very thinly sliced raw ribeyes to put on her plate to hand to the hibachi chef. Having trouble, she picked both up with a set of tongs and shook them, fairly vigorously. The result was blood spatters all over my wife's white shirt. Bad idea to let customers pile their own raw meat on a plate to hand to the chef.

My expectations were pretty low considering its location, but we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of items offered on the numerous buffet bars. Our favourites included the beef and shrimp hibachi cooked to order, chicken on a stick, honey chicken, and the sugar biscuits. Pleased everyone in our family who have varying interest in Asian food.

There isn't much to choose from in terms of sushi selection and it certainly doesn't taste fresh - it has that sticky, sitting out all day texture. Cooked food is decent at best. The address listed is also incorrect, I believe - it's 2580.

Good food, nice variety, and for a generic Asian restaurant, surprisingly good sushi.

Came back here again and was seated at the same table as last time, funny. Still as good, if not better, especially when compared to a particularly bad buffet encountered elsewhere last week. Even when busy there's plenty of food out and plenty of room to get around without bumping into other diners, and our server kept our drinks topped off, always a plus.

I skip the buffet and head straight to the hibachi grill and sushi bar in the back. Veggies, shrimp, steak, and chicken cooked to your liking. Sushi bar is small but good. You can't beat the price at less than ten bucks a person including drink! YUM!

All u can eat sushi for 8 bucks, it's no Michelin 5 star. Always get a fresh roll. I have enjoyed all 5 or so times I have been.

This place is great, especially for dinner: more sushi options. Tons of high quality chinese and american food. For the price it's as good as it gets.

Very large selection at a great price. I'm just not a buffet person.

Lots & lots of stuff. People who are looking only for volume will like it. I'd rather have 10 bags of Cheetos.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
