I had the Chicken Parmisian it was ok nothing spectacular I should of went to the Greek at this place. They have really good specials and a warm atmosphere. Its a great stop on the way to ashville coming from Greer.

This is an ok place. Needs a lot of updating, the restaurant had a bad smell to it. Food was ok. Many people told me I have to try this place, really not impressed.

We took a customer here for a business lunch. It was a great setting for this. It wasn't super crowded or loud, but there was enough going on that you didnt feel like you were the only ones there. The atmosphere was very good and the service was timely. They kept our drinks filled and the food came out in a good pace. Their lunch menu is an outstanding value. We had 4 people eat for $40 plus tip. They had three different fish cuts on the grill or a wide selection of italian dishes or other meat cuts. You get a choice of a side and the rice pilaf was very moist and delicious. The cut of grilled Tuna I had was very large and was cooked just to the right level. Warm all the way through with a little bit of pink. Every one of our meals started with a solid mixed greens salad which I had with house made italian dressing (very good). I would recommend this for a nice business sit down or for a good couple date location.

Okay, so when we walked in, I have to be honest, we thought this place was soooo outdated and were leery about ordering food. Boy were we wrong! Ordered the potato skins for an appetizer. Delicious!! They are definitely fresh!!! Everything is fresh!! We always get disappointed on how flash fried frozen things are when we go out. Not here!!! For dinner I had Salmon, baked potato with Greek salad. Very good. Very fresh!! My husband had chicken parmesan w/spaghetti. Amazing! Homemade for sure!! Eddie, from Brooklyn, was the best! I really wasn't expecting much, especially since we randomly picked this place for a last minute quickie birthday celebration during our travels. We were staying at Holiday Inn down the street. He made delicious drinks! Including, "Pear of Melons!!" Yummm! Excellent customer service!!! Thanks for making my day turn out great! We can't say enough about this place. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!!

We are a couple who consider ourselves foodies. So our rating is concise and to the point. I had the peppercorn tenderloin with the brandy gravy with mushrooms. The steak was very bland for a brandy infused dish and the bake potato was very small. The gravy was like water and needed heavy cream bThe peppercorn dish was way over priced for what you received. My date had the salmon with broccoli. The salmon was dry and lacked flavor but the broccoli was decent. Ordered the oyster Rockefeller half dozen and all of the oysters were way over cooked and I believe it was canned spinach used. After loading the oysters with cocktail sauce and old horseradish we chocked them down. Finally, we had to move to the back of the restaurant because they allowed smoking at the bar and it lingered around the entrance where we were sitting. Seriously what establishment allows smoking anymore. Uh private bars maybe!!! Geeze.

Excellent food, great service! The Oysters Rockefeller are very good, I had the Prime Rib which and my wife had the Peppercorn filet in brandy mushroom sauce; both were excellent.

I ate here last night. I had the French onion soup. Sorry to say it was a bit salty. The small amount of cheese was very chewy. Bread in the soup was ok and there wasn't many onions in the soup. Wasn't really expecting much. Also had a open steak sandwich with gravy. It wasn't bad. Service was good. I would give the restaurant another shot, wouldn't order the soup

There's nothing spectacular about Demetre's, but the service is always good, the food is fairly priced, and it's a good place to have a business lunch, as it is rarely crowded, and a quiet atmosphere.
